👍👍 Fantastic hotel. Great location, I stayed here as I was getting married close by. I really appreciated how nice the staff were particularly arriving with my wedding dress and nervous the day before my wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and the reception staff even looked after my dress for me. Pe... People often mention hotel, location, great, staff, rooms, room, friendly, centre, Liverpool, stay,

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location. The beds are huge and very comfortable and the showers are especially great. Nice big TV in the bedroom and delicious breakfast provided in the morning. Would recommend!

What a fabulous find! Located in the heart of Liverpool One and only 10 mins stroll from Lime Street Station. The staff were welcoming and the rooms were spacious and had all mod cons. The Complimentary croissant with tea and coffee went down a treat in the morning. I will definitely return!

Fantastic hotel. Great location, I stayed here as I was getting married close by. I really appreciated how nice the staff were particularly arriving with my wedding dress and nervous the day before my wedding. Nothing was too much trouble and the reception staff even looked after my dress for me. Perfect sized room for getting ready for a wedding or night out in Liverpool. Lovely fresh croissants for breakfast also. (I can't find any photos of the room but I know some of the people who work there wanted to see the dress so added a picture if that)

Great new hotel. Rooms are clean and very new. The location is spot on and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that the sound isolation is not that great so you can hear everything that is happening on the floor.

Nice and simple room, very clean and modern . Breakfast is continental only so bear that on mind. Location right next to main Liverpool attractions and shopping. Parking will be at multistory only as hotel does not have any

Good location. Comfortable, spacious rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are very large and spacious. Beds are very large and comfortable, and the location is perfect right in the centre of Liverpool. Rooms are not very well sound proofed. This didn't bother us during our stay as the hotel was not very full, but may be a problem for light sleepers during busy periods. Facilities are basic - no mini fridge or telephone in the rooms, no food service on site, but again, the rooms are really large and comfortable for the price, and the staff are great. I maybe wouldn't recommend to people who are very sensitive to noise, and we may have had a problem if the hotel were busier, but overall a pleasant stay, and one of the best hotels I have stayed in recently.

Lovely rooms, v quiet considering the city centre location. Great friendly service and the hotel is right in the centre of the city. Will definitely be coming back !

Genuinely can't think of anything negative about this hotel! Staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic and rooms are massive and modern! Price is also fantastic for a city centre hotel. Don't stay anywhere else if you come to Liverpool!

Not so good. Room was cold on arrival and we couldn't get the heater to work consistently. Water in shower wasn't hot enough. Bathroom fittings are cheap and already wearing out, this is a new hotel, it will be very scruffy in another year. TV router had to be reset every time we wanted to watch it. Sorry, this was not a £200 a night experience, we were disappointed.

I booked this hotel as I needed somewhere cheap & cheerful for one night. The location was perfect. The rooms were very modern, clean, and cosy. The staff were very polite and helpful & the complimentary croissants in the morning were a great touch! I couldn’t believe how nice the hotel was for how cheap it was! I would definitely recommend!

Room and facilities- you can smell even while walking in the hallway that the carpets are still new. Elevator is new, all the furniture are new and minimalist, so relaxing to the eyes. Room smells new! Website says our bed is double but it feels like it’s a super king! All 4 of us (2 adults 2kids) can fit in it although we got 2 extra single beds for the kids. The room is spacious for 4 people, the 2 extra beds were strategically put so that the room won’t look too crowded. We love the vanity life size mirror! And the shower head! Service- very fast check in, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Just be aware that deposit is required (it was stated in the booking confirmation). Location- 3mins walk to Jollibee (filipino restaurant that we’ve been craving since we left the Philippines a year ago), 5mins away from Primark (if you forgot stockings or thermals like us 😆). It’s honestly so near everywhere, but not located in the center itself where it would definitely be too noisy at night. School lane is like just the street beside the lane where all the shopping and clubbing happen. We travelled as a family (2 adults with our kids) and we felt really safe and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and we’re already planning of going back here. Writing this review while still here in our hotel room 🥰 staying until tomorrow (3 days and 2 nights in all). Happy customers here, all 4 of us!

Amazing hotel in a great location. Immaculate rooms and very comfy beds. Amazing bathroom with one of the best showers I’ve ever had. Staff are brilliant. We will certainly be returning whenever we travel to Liverpool! Thank you School Lane Hotel.

Clean, new, good location. Good sized room. Good price. Negatives - the Wifi. Good god the Wifi, It. Is. Awful. Terrible. Useless. The electric all failed in my room. I wish also you had larger refillable toiletries shower gel etc in the bathroom and not the environmentally disastrous single use ones that most hotels have got rid of. That aside it is a good option.

Mainly pros: Clean clean clean (yay!), spotless, wood flooring, high ceilings, Hansgrohe taps and fittings in bathroom, great thoughtful design throughout.... screams quality and designed for contemporary hotel staycations! So glad they did not opt for the disgusting dirt and grime attracting carpet most hotels go for; super friendly staff. Amazing location for centre of city to access main shipping district. Some negatives: no brekky aside from warm croissants and coffee/tea; building opposite has fire exit where there some unfortunate homeless people sleeping rough in that alcove space - not their fault of course - but some families staying here might be more weary esp when it gets dark. Toilet sink needs a dish to contain the soap. Don't expect to have a view to write home about. 4.5 stars for sure.

Stayed at the School Lane Hotel for a mid week break, the location was super central and all the staff we met were incredibly friendly & helpful. The rooms were light, bright and plenty of room and the bathroom felt like it had been fitted out to a really good standard. The hotel also offered coffee, tea & freshly baked pastries in the morning to eat in or take out, which for the price felt like a definite added extra. On the whole, a great stay, at a great hotel and will definitely recommend it! Thank you!!

Quite spot in the middle of the city. Short walk to most places, including both train and bus stations if travelling further. Complimentary WiFi and breakfast. Secure and ease of access

Very central hotel right in the heart of Liverpool 1 shopping area. Ideal for shopping (obviously) but very close to lots of good pubs and restaurants. It’s located above shop level so it took a while to find it on ground level because it’s entrance quite understated (it round the corner from Hotel Chocolat). The hotel is very nicely decorated in a sort of neutral Scandi type style. We were pleased to have been given a free upgrade. Room was very big and bright. It has all mod cons. The Staff were nice and helpful. Only offers a light breakfast of hot drinks/pastries but that’s ok because there’s plenty of places around if you want something more substantial. The hotel doesn’t have a car park but a discount is available from them for the local Q Park, which is only minutes away. You may want to consider traveling without your car as it’s so central for everywhere. We never used ours all weekend!

This independent hotel opened in time for Eurovision and what a great addition to Liverpool. It’s the only hotel in the L1 shopping centre and walking distance to the Arena - so convenient and considering the centre centre location it’s so quiet!

Great customer service, central location for everything. Clean, classy rooms, with air con. Very secure with key {plastic card) entry to all floors/doors. Cannot fault it -there is one thing, there is no parking.
