Recent visit: June 12th, 2021. When I first visited 2 years ago, the petting zoo was free and there was just the food you could buy for the animals. We (2 adults and a dog) used to come here for the good Currywurst, petting the animals and the farmers market. In recent years, they have turned it into quite the attraction. A small amusement park. Beautifully and thoughtfully laid out and arranged. There is now an entrance fee Weekends are 4€ per adult for 2.5 hours, you can extend your stay or get tickets for longer stays. Definitely recommend that for families with kids, because they have great playgrounds and bouncy houses. There is also a “Strawberry Paradise” where you can sit among flowers, shop decorative items and plants as well as get delicious strawberry themed food and beverages like waffles, crepes or strawberry secco. There are very clean bathrooms (visited on a crowded Saturday) at various locations throughout the park. They also provide hand sanitizer and a good method when it comes to Corona measures. We visited on June 12th 2021, and had to do a test beforehand. The test facility is on site and free. Make sure to book your slot online, as well as the slot for the park/purchase your tickets online. We found out about the new regulations/ the new procedure then and there, but were lucky to get a slot for testing and visiting with only a 30 minute wait. I am 33 years old, love animals and good food, and always enjoy this place a lot! The next door farmer’s market has a beautiful variety of all local and fresh produce, spreads and jams, juices, as well as meat (game, boar, chicken etc.) and flowers. I will add more photos soon! The extra money/the new concept is worth it! But especially when going with kids (which I don’t have), be aware that it might be a bit of a pricey afternoon. Food and beverages aren’t cheap, but the quality is very good. I also don’t mind spending the extra €‘s to support this local business, their creativity and this wonderful concept of taking in old animals and giving them a final resting place. It’s a recommendation!

This pumpkin patch was absolutely incredible! The pumpkins for purchase were plentiful and a very good price. There were so many activities for the kids to enjoy as well as adults. There were plenty of restrooms, and they were clean. The petting zoo had lots of different animals and food available for an interactive experience for the kids. There were playgrounds as well as bouncy castles and jump areas (good for tiring out kids). Although there were a lot of people there during our visit, it didn't feel too crowded because there were so many activities and spaces to choose from! Coming from the US, we have been to MANY pumpkin patches, but this, by far, is the best!

We had a great time at this pumpkin patch/ farm. There were lots of pumpkins and pumpkins products to choose from and enjoy. Pumpkin soup, pumpkin ale, pumpkin wine, pumpkin spice lattes, etc. There were a lot of places for kids to play and a nice petting zoo. Definitely worth going to with the family.

🍁🍂🎃This was the BEST pumpkin farm I’ve ever been to! So many beautiful pumpkin displays and so much to look at and purchase. The ambiance is stunning and it’s just a feel-good place to go. 🎃🍂🍁 They have inflatables for the kids, a playground and petting zoo. The animals were all so gentle and I saw so many little little kiddos feeding them. It’s definitely worth a trip to experience a day of fun. The pumpkins and other items are so affordable and you can get a lot for your money. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to do fall-themed photos because it’s just the perfect location to do it. There are places to grab some food and drinks… so be sure to try the pumpkin ale and secco!!! 🍺 I am definitely making this a yearly trip to visit for the fall season. *It is dog friendly!

A wonderful farm for children and parents. Spacious, lush and relaxing farm near the city of Cologne. There are several animals in this farm. Plenty things to see and do. The farm offers to buy fresh and organic foods. Highly recommended for children as well as adults.

We went on a Saturday afternoon, it was quite full, but you could still enjoy the place. Lot of attraction for kids, farm animals - and in autumn a full seasonal setting with tons of different pumpkins!

By far our favorite pumpkin patch in Germany! It may be too crowded when we went. It is definitely better with less crowd. The parking spaces are big. Downside is there's only one restroom that operates. It's hard when theres a long line of people. On the bright side, my 3 kids enjoyed the whole place. There's a huge trampoline area, multiple playgrounds and acitivities for the kids. The animal park was a plus. Kids always have a blast around animals. The cafe served some yummy pumpkin menu as well. If you want to enjoy the pumpkin season this is the place!

It's really fun for children. Lots of things to do. But, not too much shade so on sunny days you will melt without a hat. Make sure to bring sun cream with. Not too many options for food or drinks. And also not too many toilets so you might end up waiting a good 10 minutes in line

Nice location to bring your kids (or yourself if you enjoy animals) to pet, feed, and have fun looking at some very cute farm animals

It's a great place for families with kids to visit and also for pumpkin lovers! It's quite smaller than I thought so only late day ticket was enough for us. I loved every food with pumpkin especially Kürbis Pflammkuchen and Suppe and latte. But the transportation connection isn't that great so I recommend you to drive there.

Went here on a sunny afternoon and was not disappointed! There is plenty to do for children with abundance to feed, a sand park and bouncy castles. The horses, lamas, sheep, cows, etc. were our highlight though!

A large selection of juices, wines, fruits, vegetables and flowers. Nice zoo. Some staff could have a little more enthusiasm, most are very helpful

A wonderful place for families with changing themes depending on the season. Unfortunately super busy and extremely understaffed on weekends. Be prepared to wait in long lines just to order something to drink, food needs another waiting round as it is not being prepared before you order & pay. This could definatelly be managed better! The place has now became a theme park for which you have to pay for. Since it's been cut off the shop and once you enter, you cannot leave and re-enter you're stuck with very limited, unhealthy food choices. If you overstay your time slot, no matter when you actually entered, the place charges for the outside-your-time-slot time inside. All this simply leaves a bad taste to what once before was a very pleasant family place. So now we pay, enter and spend no money in the shop! Again, wonderful place so badly managed! Payment by credit card no problem.

Lovely place with beautiful pumpkin setups everywhere. The Kurbis-sseco is really nice ❤️

Very nice for the Kids. A lot of nice winter decorations and animals to feed. The food was a bit expensive and the potato soup a bit bland, the waffle sticks and the goulash where tasty though. Overall we had a nice time, just be careful where the kids play after a rainy day. The water is not cleared of the attractions and wet shoes in winter are no fun.

Nice place to visit with family. Although I was expecting more because the entrance fee started to be charged. There is no toilet paper in the toilet and there is a long wait for the purchase of sweets and drinks.

Gorgeous farm with plenty of outdoor displays and market stalls. A great place to visit, especially during fall if you’re missing that fall harvest/Halloween feeling 😍 Plenty of things to do and see, delicious food, and friendly staff. Sooo happy I went and will definitely be going back for future produce and decoration purchases! 🍁🎃🍁

Wow, what a different shopping experience! The Gertrudishof is a farmers market, outdoor food stall, animal & flower nursery all in one and it has done so with style and atmosphere. Certainly an experience enjoyed by every age. Worthwhile an extra trip!

Wonderful amusement park for kids! Our daughter was in paradise. We bought her fodder to feed the animals, she played in the straw hut and then fed the animals again. She was overjoyed. And we were to ... we bought some strawberries as well. Although they were a bit sour we enjoyed them very much. It was such a wonderful day.
