Hidden gem should you seek for fusion-local food. And their pasta menu are as authentic as western food it is. Tried the Fettucine and I would say that only a handful of Italian or European restaurant in Jakarta has a level with this one. Very authentic taste! Delicious! The Nasi Bakar, i believe was a fusion-food. Also superb! We tried the Nasi Bakar Rendang and Nasi Bakar Seafood. We can taste the Rendang and Seafood in the RICE. Too bad the serving in each portion were to small for our glutton (LOL). Just FYI, the chef is Indonesian. Great job for the menu he/she was preparing. We love the food here more than the food served in the restaurant of our staying hotel. The owner (my guess) a young Bule was escorting us on our way to the parking lot. Very nice of him. Hopefully we may be able to return here again in the future. We’ll remember Le Temple as a culinary destination while visiting Borobudur.

This is an amazing hotel and restaurant with beautiful gardens, pools and huge Buddhas carved by local craftsmen. Exquisite attention to detail throughout. The place was inspired by the Borobudur Temple complex which is very close by. Staff are polite and the owners very friendly.

small outdoor covered restaurant at this 2 villa hotel. food was very good, menu extensive. good place to go before or after visiting surrounding temples. staff professional and service quick. plenty of parking. down a semi dirt road but manageable. was expecting more people to be there after visiting borobrudor, but was only one other table. pool looks nice too. recommended.

As your rate is high above average, you need a serius atention to the food & service. Not only the view. It was disapointing taste &plating. You also charge aditional 21% tax & service while the staf service was just like that, no greeting, no smile, the cashier need to prepare for change. She had been busy looking for change on her personal bag till we finnaly give smaller amount of money.

Had a nice quiet datenight at Le Temple, staff is incredibly friendly and food was delicious! Might come back to stay in one of their rooms, as I can imagine the scenery is beautiful in the early morning! Thank you!

This is certanly the best restaurant near Borobudur. The indonesian food is excellent and the western food too. My favourite is the Nasi Bakar Rendang which I warmly recommend. The place is fabulous too and the team very nice.

It takes 20min to deliver the beverages, 45min for us to have our food... The taste of nasi bakar rendang not special, nasi goreng ayam over price, dawet ayu not cold and standard, mocktail honey lemon is not cold enough. The service slow and not well respond. Thank you

I got the info about Le Temple from IG and directly texted for my birthday lunch reservation. Surprisingly the admin is very kind and didn’t take any deposits to had a reservation. They also let me brought my birthday cake and the owner was so kind also, he congratulated for my birthday. The foods are beyond expectation. All is worth the price. The service was excellent. They gave my youngest daughter some papers with coloring pencils for free. You guys have to visit this artsy wonderful hidden gem.
