An early birthday celebration for my daughter with our family. Dave greeted us at the door and took us to our table, he was very pleasant and professional. Karen was the lady who looked after us and she was absolutely fantastic. We complimented the chefs on the food and she took me to go and ring the bell for Brian and the rest of the kitchen team. Nice friendly welcome, partner ordered the steak, he was very impressed and said he could of eaten another one it was that tasty. Deserts are lovely too, just the right amount. Highly recommended especially for all you meat lovers out there 🙂

Thoroughly enjoyed eating here recently after having not been for a few years. The food was delicious and one thing that really stood out was the quality of the staff. Extremely friendly, helpful, couldn't do enough for us, making us feel really comfortable. I highly recommend the buttermilk chicken, the chicken dripping gravy that comes with it is just incredible! Good parking facilities and access for those with limited mobility too. We'll definitely be returning.

The Place is fine dinning worthy! The steak is cooked as requested, the side dishes are massive, the wine is great.

Went for lunch. 2 courses £11.95 or something like that. There are a few supplements to add on to that tho. Had the chorizo starter and cheesy mushrooms. Both were great. Then steak (£3 extra) and a steak sandwich (£2 extra I think). Again delicious. Susan our server was lovely. Would recommend.

First time I've been to a Miller and Carter and must say I was pleasantly surprised! I used to visit when it was the Beefeater many moons ago! Clean, very friendly staff and super quick service! Great selection on the menu! My partner nor myself are massive steak eaters, but the staff were very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions! Very pleased we chose here to eat on a last minute whim! Will definitely visit again soon!

Absolutely amazing! Went for our 19th wedding anniversary and they made it feel sooooooo special! The food was Amazing and Robert, our server, was witty, a good laugh and really added to the experience of the meal! Highly recommended xxx

Went for mother's day on a pre booked table. We ended up getting the same lady as last time we went serving us, Cherelle. Her customer service is second to none and her cheery, happy mood is infectious. It is a pleasure to be served by her. The food was 100% spot on and so delicious. 10 out of 10 for food, atmosphere and service. Will definitely be going again.

We came on Wednesday night to celebrate my sons Birthday. Our waiters Name was James. The service we were given from him was excellent. A personal thank you James. Was up this end of town for a wedding and thought we would have a nice meal the night before. We booked ahead which was good as was very busy, venue itself is gorgeous inside and staff were nice and friendly. Food came out in good time and as always for a Miller & Carter was gorgeous. This is one of those places where you expect to pay more for the food but it's worth it. A++

We had a family meal here yesterday and booked before ( seems only online bookings available which is strange.) Very polite and friendly staff. Food and drinks came promptly after ordering and the food was excellent. A bit expensive but we don't go out every week would return which of course is the information that you need!

What an incredible place this is. We were served by Cherelle who was phenomenal with her knowledge and advice when it came to our questions about the menu. Service was faultless and the food was another level. For us, good service should be something that comes as standard and is lost in a lot of establishments. Miller and Carter very clearly invest in their staff which shows. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks for making our dinner a fabulous experience.

The most incredible meal for my mum’s 50th birthday. We booked only a few hours before, arrived and had a lovely spacious table away from the rest of the customers, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. Excellent choice for gluten free options with a separate menu, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, the steak was cooked to perfection and all members of the party came away raving about the food and the service. Thank you to all the staff for making my mums birthday so special and memorable!

Me and my partner have been looking forward to coming to this Miller & Carter and it didn't disappoint. The food was spectacular, just what you'd expect from an established steakhouse. We have never dined at Miller & Carter before. We had a meal voucher bought for us at Christmas, so that really was the reason for us booking the table. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening - the steakhouse was extremely busy with a good atmosphere - the food was excellent, spoiling ourselves with a Chateaubriand main course and a delicious dessert. - the service was 'spot on', receiving great service from a young lady Natasha, who we found to be very pleasant, attentive and cheerful. (Well done young lady). 5 star visit all round. The other fun element was when customers 'rang the bell' on leaving their tables after enjoying their visit, with the chefs cheering after each ring of the bell. It's many years since we visited the establishment last, when it was call the Queensway pub, hopefully won't be as long to our next visit.

This was our first experience dining here and it did not disappoint. The food was plentiful and exceptional. We are already looking forward to visiting again very soon. Special mention to the staff who were very attentive to all our needs.

We dined on Tuesday night. OMG !! We had the Butchers Block sharing meal along with crème brûlée and cheese cake for pud. The service was excellent and we had a lovely evening

Nice place but my hubby was disappointed with his sirloin. I've been to M&C before but he never been. Food was good not as delicious as on previous occassions. Maybe our expectations were too high. Will continue to visit but less frequently.

Each time we come here the food is always lovely and the staff are great too. Would recommend.

We went for an early Saturday meal at 4.30pm. Service was really good and quick even when restaurant became full around 7pm. Our waitress was very helpful and suggested a change in how one steak was cooked as it was on the bone. Most of the meals we had were excellent with the exception of the prawn starter which although had enough large prawns, the sauce was watery and I don't know where the avocado or samphire was as I couldn't see any. The only other issue was one of the cocktails was mainly ice and I couldn't taste any strawberries or alcohol. The espresso martini was lovely and had a lovely strong coffee flavour and Tia Maria was evident. The steaks were tender and cooked as requested. We had some sides like Brie topped mash which was really good. The creme brulee was the best I've ever had. I would definitely give this place a try. Really good place if you enjoy a steak.

Ate twice here in a week once on 2 or 3 course lunch offer in week plus with friends in the evening at weekend. Both times superb. Special dietary needs well catered for. Huge size portions on meat dishes. Great desserts n mackerel pate to die for. Karen excellent waitress.

Always a lovely place to visit. The food is spectacular, the venue is modern and clean, the service time is speedy and the staff are lovely and helpful. It's a treat to visit and well worth the price.

What a great experience. We came in for a late sitting on Mothers day for a pre-booked table. We were served by Debbie and she was a delight and an absolute credit to the business! The food was second to none and the burger was actually the meal of the night! Fantastic atmosphere, great service and fantastic food. Been here before but this is by far our best experience! Well done!

Miller and Carter St. Anne's was fantastic as always. Service was amazing from Georgia & our food was beautiful, as were our drinks. Highly recommend the espresso tiramisu, was the best I've tasted in a long time! Thank you!
