Beautiful, peaceful place, great for dog walking and not too busy. A pleasant 10 minute walk from the car park, which was £1 parking for the day, although the parking meters were broken, so it was actually free! The ruins of Ferndean Manor are fascinating to look around. Lovely afternoon out!

Nice walk through peaceful Wycoller. Wide selection of walks and hikes.

Great picnic spot with toilets and for those who like their history plenty of information and pictures from the local area. Also don't forget to explore ruins of the old hall opposite.

This is a special place considering all this history could of been lost if the plans to dam and flood the valley hadn't been scuppered in the 1950s
