Not cheap, but the staff are cheerful and very helpful and there's never a worry about quality.

Well run with a good selection - albeit quite cramped. COVID safety measures are decent, with staff on the door and baskets/trolleys cleaned regularly. My only criticism is the layout; lunch items are tucked away at the far end (near the tills) which is not ideal if you need to dash in. Would be good if Marks expanded the space (maybe a deli counter?) as this is the only M&S for many miles and very popular.

After seeing M&S TV adverts. I immediately felt M&S food was out of my league I come from a very humble up upbringing.. I did vist at the back end of 2022 (November) This was purely to see the lay of the land and make sure the products and prices met my needs and budget. I did vist today 08/06/2023 ready to buy... I found the store bright and the products on the shelves were plentiful.I had a good look around and in the end I purchase some mash £3 seems slightly pricey and somes sausages great value at two packs for £6.. The lady on the till sorry her name escapes my mind she was very friendly and keen to learn about my first experience buying from this store.. Now listen..Here's my point how many people people like myself note the lack of a double barrel surname feel this shop is out of there reach.. Your tag line of adverts come be "This is not just M&S food this is your food!" I wish you all the best in the future... I will return in the future you will be pleased to here. A pretty decent M&S albeit awkward to get to on foot when walking from Rawtenstall town centre — this has been made worse by all the scaffolding surrounding the old Cobblers pub … anyway yes, a decent M&S with helpful staff
