I’m so sad that Bourne Valley has gone and Longacres has replaced it. It’s tacky and boringly mainstream. Bourne Valley was a lovely place to go for coffee (at least that’s still there, but I’m not so keen to go now.) I would often shop for classy and thoughtful presents while I got my car cleaned and met a friend for coffee. It was a great place to get good quality items. Now…It’s just an overpriced Home Bargains. What a loss for Row Town. End of an era.

Very disappointing cafe. Big enough and service was good. However the food is dire. We had the all day breakfast. Bacon and sausages tasted funny and looked so. Think they’re a bit off. Cake was a bit small for the price. Lovely tea though. 2 pieces of toasts £2.85. Bit steep. Don’t think we’ll come here again to be honest. First and last time. Oh, it needs a refurb as well I think.

Great experience at this garden centre. I feel it has vastly improved since that change of ownership. Lovely Christmas stock in at the moment, my children thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas display in the outdoor area. The restaurant is always brilliant, serves delicious food and drinks (be sure to book if going at the weekend as it does get busy!) Overall great trip, good prices and enjoyed by all.

Large entrance display which is clearly aimed at children and all nik naks we all love to have in our homes. There is also a very popular restaurant with a enclosed veranda . So that coffee & tea drinkers can see the many & varied pots for sale . Very cleverly done. It is early in the season for plants but they a good display there too. We will return for more plants if I can keep the family away from the rest.

Very nice garden centre with a nice cafe, too. I love getting my jams and marmalade from there and just stroll through their shop together with my wife.

Had the worst all day brunch ever yesterday for £13 at Bourne Valley cafe. Very disappointed, bacon and sausages were undercooked, eggs over cooked, nothing had any seasoning or flavour. Additional toast for £2.85? That’s a joke surely? Food used to be brilliant, not sure what’s happened!

I always love a trip here. In the garden centre itself, there’s a huge variety of things to browse (and want to buy). At the moment - pre-coronation there is a huge amount of things to buy. I always love looking at the gifts and jewellery. In the cafe the staff are so wonderful with children. There is table service since Covid. A nice variety of meals and lovely cakes!!

Good place to shop in the actual shopping part but don’t bother stepping foot into the cafe, took 30 mins for food to arrive baby sized portions and tasteless. Upon returning a sandwich I had paid nearly £10 for the staff gave me a comment of “we sell lots of these everyday so cannot be that bad” My friend and I walked out after getting a refund and will not be returning.

Mum in law and I were treated to an afternoon tea for two recently. Staff were very efficient, accommodating and polite. We were shown to our table quickly and, once seated, two pots of tea of our choice were brought. Soon after, a cake stand arrived. It was full with sandwiches, scones (including clotted cream and jam), macaroons and cake slices. The sandwiches were fantastic - fresh, full of filling and tasted absolutely divine. There were four flavours of sandwich plus some mixed leaves as garnish, and we could not have asked for anything better. The four different flavoured macaroons were tasty, fresh and soft, and the carrot cake was the nicest l have ever tasted. I didn't try the sponge slice as l was already full, but I am reliably informed it was both moist and amazing! We asked if we could take the scones and remaining cake pieces home, and we were duly supplied with cardboard boxes. Absolutely worth five stars - one small area for improvement though, our tea was cold by the time we had finished eating the sandwiches - maybe you could deliver one pot of tea at the beginning of the experience and another one a little later on, or offer a hot water top up?

After 10 years away (having moved to Bucks) I came back to take a look while in the area. The garden centre is as good as ever even while the staff were busy getting ready for Easter. Not cheap but quality goods.

the cafe is fine good food at a fair price, coffee was expensive I thought if you drink it black as it's only two thirds filled as they leave room for milk even if you asked for it black.. the actual shop is now the same as many garden centres. Bourne valley was a little different for the better in my opinion.

Lovely staff always great service. One thing missing seats outside for disabled waiting to be collected. There was always two seats outside, don't know why they removed them. That lost them a star.

Christmas wreath making workshop. Debbie and Stef were fantastic they both were very friendly and made us welcome. What a experience, they were both knowledgeable and explained step by step with three very happy ladies leaving at the end with three beautiful wreaths that we are all proud of. Debbie and Stef are a credit to Longacres thank you ladies for wonderful time. We will definitely be back next year.

£15 for a large breakfast and it was really poor. The bacon rind was near enough raw, rest of it was pale, clearly oven cooked for not long enough then re heated. Sausages were tasty but again you could tell re heated as skin was all off, wrinkled to an extent. Mushrooms were hard and not cooked properly as well as the grilled tomatoes were rock solid. On ordering my wife asked for poached eggs instead of fried and the waitress paused with this painful expression on her face and while gritting her teeth she said ‘I’ll ask’ she made us feel like we had made the biggest off the wall request. Then once I paid the bill(not looking or asking for any money back, I had already paid) I gave my feed back and a confused expression came across the individuals face and not a word, the pause became so awkward I piped up ‘just feed back do with it as you please.’ Last final point is that I managed to upset the manager while being seated asking about all the reserved tables, they were the ones with comfy seats and not wooden chairs, quite a few of them there were, he didn’t like that I wanted to sit on a comfy seat and told me I they are reserved for our regular customers only. Clearly not interested in gaining any more regulars 😂 won’t be back any time soon. Farm shop was great! Picked up a bunch of Cook meals. Bread was a bit pricy at £4/5 a loaf but tastes great.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with work colleagues here. Never been before but will definitely return. Small menu but good range of choice to suit everyone. Delicious fresh cooked hot food which the 5 of us really enjoyed. Then we had a walk around the garden centre itself which was a wonderful place, and most things reasonably priced.

Unusual to find table service at a garden centre but it worked well. High prices though and cake was very small. The centre sells everything under the sun so you can always get what you want!

We had the afternoon tea with Santa. Good value for money, lovely sandwiches full of fillings, tasty cakes, mince pies and scones. Best of all Santa came and spent a good amount of time chatting to the children at the table and had a REAL white beard!! Garden Centre has huge range of gifts and plants, some a tad expensive but you get what you pay for. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Interesting Garden centre with lots of choice. Main reason we visited was to buy field fayre frozen food from the farm shop and they had a good selection. Sadly not the almond croissants which was the main reason for driving there. Maybe if someone is reading this they can get them in stock :)

First time at the cafe, fantastic! Good varied menu, food looks and tastes fresh. Staff helpful and cheerful. It was very busy which is a good sign of its popularity. I would definitely go back, even just for pot tea! The owner and staff should be proud!

Bought some of their frozen Bacon Croissant, for £1.19 amazingly they rose to a full size Croissant the length of my hand as as high as my fist and tasted delicious !! Took 30 minutes to cook.Wish we lived nearer to this garden centre. The rest of the food was relatively expensive, and the pain au raison didn't cook quite as well, but was still tasty. Also bought a mini platter of salami, hot salami, Parma, ham, and a slice of cheese. £2.89, was again very delighted with the quality and taste which I shared with my 2 children. Don't usually buy food from Garden Centres, but may investigate ones nearer me to get some more of the bacon Croissant 😋 Everything else however thought was overpriced and relatively useless, but you could get some nice gifts with the items on sale. Also useful for people around the Addlestone area as this garden centre sold jewellery to lego!

Terrible customer service. Returned an item I bought 2 days ago for which part of the payment was made using a voucher they sent to me valid till the end of Oct 22. They refunded the price minus the value of the voucher - which is fair enough- but what's not fair is the fact they refused to give me another voucher arguing it had been used already, completely ignoring the fact the item had been returned. Very disappointing service to say the least. I have been a regular customer for over 25 years. Very disappointing turn.

My friend and I took our brothers here for lunch at the café. Our brothers have learning disabilities and the staff at the café and in the garden centre were really friendly and made our brothers feel welcome. We enjoyed our food the menu is varied and the food is always good. Would definitely recommend and will go again.

One of the best and brightest range of beautiful flowers and veg. Superb turn out. As with All Garden Centres, The Cafe and Farm Shop are Massively overpriced but Gardeners go to a Garden Centre for Plants, Seeds and Trees. So the Cafe and Shop are not on the "Must Visit" list.
