We booked a table a few days prior, advised over the phone only 1 table remaining with a heater, but when we arrived we actually had a heater - bonus! We both had the fillet steak and it was very nice indeed. Great service too, the Scottish woman who served was very polite and well organised.

This isn't the cheapest place... but my meal was excellent. My lamb shank was seasoned well and the meat fell off the bone. The accompanying vegetables were cooked very well. The atmosphere of the pub is nice, and it's well fitted out, with a good selection of drinks. You won't have any problems if you decide to pay this place a visit on your travels.

Apologies for the see food eat it pun, but sea food sharing platter was exemplory. It was a fair price and very good. The Three Horseshoes pub had won best town pub awards in the past, and I can see why! It's a little like a tardis inside and busy on a mid-week lunch time. In short, great pub!

Nice spacious pub, with indoor and outdoor seating. Good location with ample car parking but not over crowded like pubs near tube stations. Prices are nominal. Food is delicious sea food items, duck, and other meat items. Friendly and quick service. Decent family crowd during weekends. Pet friendly.

We went on Friday night and it was fully and busy inside. A very nice pub with really friendly staff. We can see why it was busy as the food and service was very good. They sorted us a table (we hadn't booked) and the food was really tasted. Waitress was really attentive making sure we had everything we needed and keeping an eye to make sure we were not waiting on drinks or anything. Highly recommend

Lovely inside and out. Food and Service was great. Plus it was good to see how well attended it was. We were on a short break away, but I suspect it was a lot of locals at the tables as well.

Stopped by on a Saturday lunchtime without a reservation. The pub was very busy but they squeezed us in. Can see why it is so popular, the food was excellent and prompt. Sea bream was delicious 😋

It’s always a good sign when somewhere is very busy. We ate here on Friday evening & food was outstanding. A good menu, the staff were very attentive, friendly & it’s reasonably priced. Can’t believe I haven’t been here before. And not forgetting the best dessert menu ever written!

Lovely local gastropub, which we visited on a Thursday evening for my mum's birthday. I was surprised how busy it was! The service was exceptional throughout the evening, and the food was really nice. I haven't been to this pub for about 20 years, at which point they basically only did giant jacket potatoes. It's come a long way since then, and I'd definitely be back!

Food is excellent! I’ve never seen this place quiet on any day even a week day. We came here on a Monday and this gastropub was absolutely heaving. The well to do pensioners all seemed to dine here! Car park isn’t great. Being an old pub, it’s got that old world charm.

We stopped by during a long cycle ride and did not have a reservation, but they still found us a place. The food was phenomenal, the presentation was great, and the waiter was very kind and playful. Also very good value for money. Totally recommend.

We haven't been to the Three Horseshoes for a while but it is still a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. As popular and busy as I remember from our last visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and customer service is quick and efficient, thanks guys, cheers.

Excellent quality of food and service here. Staff were really friendly and the food was well worth the wait. We were a large party and they handled all our different needs and tastes really well. Definitely recommend.

As always; excellent. We have taken the children there for their birthdays since they were 8 and 7 and after last nights showing, will continue to do so. The fact that the menu doesn't change much is irrelevant as what is on the menu is superbly cooked and served. The boy was overfed and frankly, that is a feat in itself

We had a really nice dinner here. Our family had the Rib-eye, chicken schnitzel and risotto dishes. All lovely and well prepared. Busy location. Food was great. Leila was our waitress and very friendly 😊

Fabulous food and service for a large group today. We had 3 courses which were huge portions and really tasty. Staff did so well considering how big our group was. Thank you...

On holiday from New Zealand and had lunch with a friend here on Thursday. We we're served by Emily, who was totally amazing, great fun,and made excellent recommendations. Nothing was a bother, the food was outstanding, really well presented, and came in a timely fashion. I can really recommend the shrimp cocktail, which echoed back to the 1970's, and the banooffee pie was divine.A truly lovely experience all round and will highly recommend to all and sundry. Lovely quaint English pub.with Fabulous staff.

Didn't realise how big it is from the outside! Huge dining areas inside and a gorgeous garden in the back. Booked online and requested a sunny spot and they delivered! Service throughout was perfect. Had the salmon special followed but the biggest sticky toffee ever! The no alcohol G&T was lush. Will definitely be returning.

Most excellent place for dining. The food is quite remarkable. Always way above excellent. As is the service. Liver and bacon is to die for. Due to its superb reputation it's a busy place, booking recommended, though walk-ins are catered for. Enjoy your time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

As always a beautiful meal at the Three Horseshoes. Waiting staff well informed and pleasant. Service, food & ambience all perfect. Every time we visit, we wonder why we don't come here more often! Thoroughly enjoyed the Mackerel starter, Fish/Chips/Mushy Peas, Honey/Almond Cake. Husband also enjoyed all his courses. One of the best pub/restaurants in the area, if not the best!

My friend and I had lunch there on a Tuesday, expecting it to be a quiet day, but I made a reservation anyway. Good job I did, because virtually every table was occupied. We were greeted in the garden and once it was established that I'd made a reservation we were asked if we would prefer to sit indoors or in the garden. Then we were shown to our table...no asking both of us for our names and phone numbers! The food was excellent, and even allowed my colleague to order a child's portion of a meal. The prices were very reasonable and we weren't hurried. The waiting staff were attentive without being a nuisance. I can definitely recommend The Three Horseshoes and will certainly be visiting there in the near future

Superb in every way. Lovely, accommodating and friendly staff despite us being a little indecisive at times. Every dish was spot on with 5 mains and 5 desserts and the bill was less than we expected for the quality too!

Quality pub situated at a lovely village short walking distance from the river. Its a large pub that still feels warm and cosy. It has a large garden with tables outside and under a canopy. The food looks really and the beer selection is excellent. It's very clean, tidy and superbly kept. The service is friendly, fast and very professional. There is also a large car park and the pub is dog friendly. It's a perfect spot for a drink, some good food and a nice walk by the river. Highly recommended

Love this pub. Always a great atmosphere, busy but you can usually get a table. Staff are very friendly. The menu is extensive and food delicious! I've tried the satay chicken, roasts and pasta.

Lovely pub serving food that would be the envy of most top class restaurants. I can't find anything to complain about. The decor is charming, the staff are friendly and the food is excellent. Will definitely visit again

Oh What a lovely experience! This pub was so warm and welcoming - the staff were extremely attentive. My knife fell through the roast beef, the roast potatoes were a triumph! Normally, restaurant veg can be a bit stewed - but not these! Delectable sweet red cabbage, fresh spring cabbage and a medley of others. Don’t get me started on the black forest sundae - all in all, 10/10.

Absolutely outstanding! Possibly the best pub on planet earth. Sunday roasts are sensational
