We
spent
3
nights
here
and
it
was
our
first
time
here.
We
arrived
in
the
afternoon
and
ladies
behind
the
bar
very
friendly
and
helpful
when
they
struggled
to
take
payment
We
were
given
room
11
at
top
it's
a
lovely
room
and
typical
of
an
old
building
with
uneven
flooring
but
was
a
really
nice
room
with
a
fridge
and
microwave
along
with
normal
tea
coffee
etc.
The
hotel
is
situated
in
the
shadow
of
St
Botolphs
church
and
when
you
first
arrive
you
do
think
it's
a
bit
out
of
place
with
the
surrounding
buildings
and
dwellings
but
inside
Is
a
pleasant
surprise
We
didn't
use
the
bar
but
it
was
really
nice
and
cosy
and
cool
in
the
warm
weather
we
were
having
it
has
a
great
beer
garden
at
the
rear
also
which
is
kept
tidy
The
room
faces
front
of
building
and
has
the
old
windows
with
double
glazed
inside
(if
you
want
it
to
be
quiet
from
outside
noise
suggest
closing
both
windows)
Nice
shower
toilet
area
although
struggled
to
fill
kettle
due
to
sink
being
very
small
You
have
a
separate
entrance
if
bar
is
closed
down
the
alley
at
side
which
when
using
for
first
time
can
be
a
bit
disoriented
Only
issue
we
had
which
wasn't
hotels
fault
was
someone
knocking
out
door
at
3
am
when
I
answered
it
the
person
reckoned
he
was
at
the
wrong
room
so
not
sure
if
he
was
a
resident
or
not
but
not
having
a
reception
to
call
down
to
either
physically
or
by
phone
meant
there
was
nobody
to
complain
to
and
although
it
does
have
a
smart
TV
we
did
keep
loosing
signals
which
is
not
ideal
when
your
smart
TV/Freeview
TV
needs
it
and
ended
up
in
sing
our
phones
to
watch
stuff
There
is
a
carpark
2
mins
away
at
around
£4
for
24
hours
and
location
is
great
for
all
the
towns
pins
and
restaurants
but
far
enough
away
to
not
to
be
impacted
by
revellers
leaving
the
local
establishment
For
the
price
I
would
probably
stay
here
again
as
it's
a
little
gem
