Booked a table for a out of town birthday celebration. Expecting to have a band start at 9:30.... quarter to 10 still not set up. Thalia was very awkward and quiet should not be a waitress!! Soda was flat and made the mixed drinks taste horrible. Definitely recommend Cheeky Monkey and lounge next door over this establishment.

If I could give this bar zero stars I would. Bartenders were beyond rude, inattentive and acted like I was bothering them whenever myself or one of my friends asked for a drink. One particular bartender straight up walked away from me after I asked if they had two different beers instead of offering an alternative and got nasty when I called her back. AVOID this place at all costs, the only reason this place gets business at all is because it’s conveniently close to Fenway. Will never be returning and will warn everyone I know to avoid this establishment as well.

Great food and fast service. My wife and I came for a pre show dinner and it was excellent! The service was fast and friendly. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted wonderful. I had the Irish empanadas and my wife had the shrimp kabobs. So good! The restroom is were clean and well maintained.

Manager was so rude and try the card “oh just for you to know, I am the manager”. For real, you could wait 5 min for me to put my jacket to be able to move from the place I was. It doesn’t matter if you are the manager, the president or the pope, being not polite is not an excuse regarding position. Honestly, your behave was completely inappropriate for a manager considering I am a customer, and could be coming back customer. The music was good, staff very pleasant and gentle, but the manager.. it destroyed the whole reputation of the place for me. Never again. You need to learn how to be polite. Your staff deserves someone better! (Did not try the food, cannot tell)

After a long trip coming all the way from a different country, This unprofessionals denied me to enter because I want a table and because I was alone or maybe because I have brown skin idk what real reason.. all I want was a beer and something to eat. Terrible customer service.

It had great customer service and good food! It's an Irish pub that delivered on all aspects. We weren't there for one of their live shows! We were in Boston for a concert so we needed a quick place. The service at the bar was really quick. The Landesdowne Lemonade was a perfect combination of sweet alcohol drink. The pink whitney splashed with lemonade was a perfect start to my night. The alcohol didn't over power the drink. It was nice fruity taste. For my meal, I combined their Hawaiian pulled pork sliders and side of fries. It was just enough to fill me up. It's great tip for those wanted to budget themselves to grab something on appetizers menu. For fries, the portion was generous to split with a friend. The Hawaiian pulled pro sliders came with three delicious sliders. The sliders were filled with barbecue pulled pork, pineapple chunks, and pepper jack cheese. Both were worth every bite. The bathrooms were really clean here! It's defiantly a great vibe with music playing! It's great place for a chill night!

Fun bar with a great atmosphere. Usually a DJ late at night or after Fenway games. Always very enjoyable

Stopped in here with my boyfriend before heading to a concert and we were both shocked at just how disgusting this place is. The fact that it’s rated as high as it is puzzles me and makes me feel like the whole experience was a fever dream. We only ordered drinks after seeing what the inside was like and even our drinks were bad. The scariest part was when I went to the bathroom- I’ll attach photos. The bar area was only marginally cleaner.

We went in with a large group and had a pretty great time. The live music was fun but the womens bathroom ran out of toilet pepper around 11pm and was never restocked.

If you're a Red Sox fan, you need to check this place out. The place was hopping and buzzing the whole time we were there. Great drinks and great atmosphere.

I'm very sad to report that this was the worst Ruben I've ever had. First it took over 30 minutes to come out at lunchtime, and then it was extremely chewy- the meat just wouldn't break off (fatty and tough) and I ended up eating the sandwich with a fork and knife. The fries were quite delicious though. I wish I could give a better review but when you charge premium prices I expect premium food, and service...speaking of which it was pretty full bar close to Red Sock game time and the bartenders were not interested in keeping an eye on the clients. Had to wait quite sometime for expensive bears served in a plastic cup. Therefore, I give it a 3 star review.

I go here as a tourist looking to watch the New York rangers vs. the islanders and I get what I was surprised with. They only had TVs on one side of the restaurant leaving half of all the people out of luck, they ran out of the meals that I ordered and told me 25 minutes after, and you can talk to nobody because of how loud the music here. I would not come here with friends and go to bleachers down the street to at least be able to talk to some people and have a good time.

Sat down at the bar with a friend and wasn’t acknowledged until we shouted to one of the bartenders. They still didn’t greet us or say hi. We wanted to order food so I placed my order and she immediately sent it to the kitchen without asking what my friend wanted and got mad at us when we said we wanted to order more food. She finished placing our food order and went back to ignoring us until we flagged her down again to get a drink. Bartenders are extremely rude and not attentive. Would not recommend.

Came here for a drag brunch event, doors opened before restaurant staff were expecting them to. Heather the bartender was absolutely amazing, offering great service and quick drinks even while still opening the bar at the same time. She deserves a raise. This has to be some of the best corned beef hash I have had in the Boston area. 10/10 recommend their brunch menu and Heather as a bartender. Very LGBTQA+ inclusive, as a lesbian I felt extremely comfortable here.

Very rude staff. Very slow service. Hostess sat us down and two hours later after we already ate they said they never sat us down. After been waited on for two hours. They were kicking tables out left and right, they are very unprepared for a high capacity of people inside. The guy then argued, yelled, and swore at our table telling us to leave because we apparently didn’t get sat down. He also threatened us saying that he wanted to meet the men at our table outside and we were lucky we were inside the restaurant. We were not loud, rude or obnoxious. We just wanted lunch. Very uncomfortable, very rude. Almost hit me in the face from yelling at us by talking with his hands. Will never spend money here again.

Sat at a table for 15 minutes with no service. Said something to the girl up front who said she would get the waiter for us. 10 minutes later, nothing. We left. We then came back as the other places were jammed. Sat again and this time got the waitress who said, "I didn't realize you were here for dinner, I just thought you were here for the music.". Food was so so at best. Find somewhere else.

Came here last night for a night out in Boston! It is an amazing bar and fun bar to go to if you are in the area! They have a live band playing songs! And the atmosphere is great!

The vibe is nice, music is a hit and miss, however this place is way over packed, it took me 30 minutes to get out. With the amount this place was over capacity there is no way they are passing fire safety, you can literally get trumpled in this place on a busy night. Feedback to management: please limit capacity.

Lots of fun and live music and during the bands break don't leave because the DJ is also really good

Food was decent for a pub. They tried to accommodate all our requests. Live music was cool. Busy place, but we got seated right away. Overall great place before an event at Fenway.

If you’re ever in Boston you definitely want to make Lansdowne Pub (even if it’s just for a pint)a stop on your itinerary. I have never had bad food or service.

Walked by earlier in the day, and saw what looked to be a typical Irish pub with a bunch of wooden tables. Went inside later in the evening, and it had transitioned into a club with live music.

Wow! If you ever thought you had visited a pub with extraordinary Irish feel think again! LP has the most incredible bar with wood carvings that take you back to the days when wood meant something. Their food is not something to skip as their fantastic offerings are plentiful. To top it off Blanton’s Bourbon #blantons

Amazing experience, live music, our server was amazing and tentative. Food was very yummy fresh and quick. The manager checked by to see how everything was. They cleared the plates quickly. Large space so it didn't feel crowded. Would recommend swinging by when in town!

No place quite captures the vibe of Fenway and Kenmore such as Lansdowne pub does. Outstanding bar Good times Good people good music and just the true feel of Fenway along with great street food as you and your night. Always a good time for me

Service was lackluster. We sat at the bar and went Unacknowledged for over 8 minutes. Bartenders (4) seemed engrossed in their own conversation rather then take care of the full bar. I asked a question about a menu condiment item, and not one of them knew what it was. Our ‘server’ had to get someone else to explain it. This restaurant clearly relays on just being next to Fenway as opposed to actually providing proper service. We ordered the sliders. Each came with 3 and we had one beef and one chicken. It appeared that the chicken was simply one chicken tender cut in three pieces. There was more bread, lettuce and tomato than chicken. The burgers were better. They filled the bun and the caramelized onions were as they should be. This restaurant has its challenges. I hope they do better… Cleanliness: 6-10 Service: 3-10 Food: 3-10 Value: 2-10 Pictures: (Where’s the) Beef Sliders…

Excellent place! We didn't plan to party there but we saw how people were enjoying the life music and decided to enter. Worth every minute

The layout of this place is good, when a big group of us came in and wanted to dance they moved a lot of tables to accommodate us. Really enjoyed the live singer they had playing. Bartenders were very kind and efficient too.

This was a really cool spot to stop if you’re heading to a Sox game. They had a good brunch menu and the service was very good. I also have been told this place is a good spot to go out at night to as well.

If you like identical cover bands playing the same songs every single weekend, a cover charge, slow drink service, and constant pushing and shoving, this is the place for you.

On 3/13 around 1 o’clock, the manager went above and beyond helping me find an item that was stolen. He was so kind, very helpful and this is the kind of place you want to go to with staff that cares about its customers!

Great pub right next to Fenway Park. Had some amazing Irish fries there with a Guinness. Later in the night the restaurant was cleared out and a cover band played through the night.

  • 1/5 Chloe M. 2 years ago on Google
Save your cover money and dancing for another pub. The drinks are watered down if you are even able to get to the front of the bar to purchase some. The staff are unfriendly and abrasive, and you'll spend your night surrounded by couples engaging in rough PDA that blocks your way to the bathroom.

I currently have a broken ankle and was sitting in a chair. A employee came up to me and said I need to give him the chair. When I explained the situation I was told no and that I needed to give up my chair. So I did and then my party and I found a table. Later the same employee who told me I could not have the seat for my broken ankle, took more chairs away from us and then kicked a person out of the bar for me. Basically, they don’t care if your ankle is broken and they will take chairs away from you.

Awesome spot to eat and grab a drink before the game! As a Yankees fan I have to admit it was a great experience being at the pub and seeing all the fanatics. I was treated respectfully even with my Yankees hat on 😂

I was forced to purchase a mask outside from the bouncers. I took two steps into the bar with the mask on and quickly realized that 100% of the people in the bar didn't have a mask on. This was during a Red Sox game so the line at the bar was three people deep. Nice little way for the bouncers to make a few extra dollars I guess. Totally ridiculous.
