Truly a 4.5. They provide a plethora of tapas that suits meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Service is quick and a line of tapas comes out promptly. Even the complimentary bread is divine. Favorites included the burrata, pork belly, bacon wrapped dates, and papas bravas. Even the desserts, particularly the olive oil cake and the chocolate cake, were delicious. Would recommend for a dinner out.

Didn’t know what happened that day. There are two appetizer(grilled pulpo and pork belly) we ordered sold out that day, but we wait 30 minutes to be notified. Which we have to wait nearly 30 minutes with no food. We also ordered tuna and shrimp, but it’s way too pricey with only 4 tuna and 5 shrimp for 12~15 dollars. We ordered half seafood pella, but can’t barley feed three people(two women and one man). The waitress is nice and patient, the cheese and ham she recommends are nice. Overall, I wish they should have told us earlier, so we don’t have to starve at the beginning, and the serving speed can be faster.

This review is coming from the perspective of a vegetarian. The food was good. Service was decent. Place was very clean. Presentation of food was great. Barcelona Wine Bar is know for tapas: small plates meant for sharing. I went with 2 other people and we ordered 5 tapas total. This was enough food for the three of us. Most of the tapas aren't vegetarian though, which kind of sucked. I ordered pancakes which were pretty good. The portions were small (because they were tapas), but it was filling enough. I just wish the restaurant had more vegetarian options. The charcuterie board was great, so I was told (I didn't actually eat any of it). The bread was good, but the crust was very hard. Overall, I'd recommend coming here for a nice brunch. It is pretty expensive, especially if you plan on buying drinks.

I had experienced the most outstanding service. I had ordered several items from the menu and one paella was not served until after I finished eating and received the bill. The chef decided to give us the meal for free.

Now one of my favourite restaurants in Boston. The beef tartare - brilliant. Bacon wrapped dates - brilliant. Those were our two faves. The croquettes were also amazing. Everything else really really good. The olive cake!!! Wow. The staff was also very kind and helpful. Interior is beautiful. 10/5

From drinks to food, everything was so delicious!!! Highly recommend the braised lamb neck and brussels sprouts. Can’t wait to go back and try more!!

DELICIOUS!!! Yum! This place was the best! So many tapas you can try that are so yummy. We had the branzino which was phenomenal! You better make reservations or you won’t be getting in. And make them weeks in advance if you want a good spot. Make sure to keep checking in with the hosts every so often when you are waiting for your table. This place is packed but such an awesome vibe, wonderful staff and delicious food!

The place looks great. Service was great and the guava lavender lemon Mimosa was bomb. Barcelona hits right every time. Their tapas are amazingly varied and the atmosphere really complements the dishes well. Their service is outstanding and of course the flavors are excellent. The sangria is amazing and highly recommend it! 10/10 would recommend!

Second time at this restaurant (albeit a different branch), absolutely loved it again. Great food! Server was busy but when available she was very attentive and sweet. Slightly expensive but totally worth it! Would definitely go again.

I've been here a few times and I love this place. Great atmosphere and nice for a leisurely brunch. A lot to choose from with great options for gluten free dishes. Our server was super helpful and knowledgeable about each dish. Timing of the dishes was good too! Looking forward to going back again and sitting outside once the weather allows!

We made our selections from the menu and worked our way down our hierarchical list till we were either too stuffed or the list ran out. When ordering we ordered the dishes two at a time. Made eating a different experience, and this was the place for a new experience. We both really enjoyed this place. Great place. My friend and I did not have a reservation. The host said that we need to wait approximately an hour and 30 minutes to be seated. Meanwhile, we went to the bar, we decided to order drinks and several tapas to share. we found two seats at the bar without any problems and decided that we do not need a table. We ordered Martha's Vineyard mushrooms, hummus, Patatas Bravas, Seared Scallops, and Ricotta spread. Everything tasted great. the drinks were good too. The place is usually crowded, I highly recommend making a reservation before you go there.

The tapas were super fun for our group. The cocktails were nice! I really liked the mezcal and whisky based cocktails. The octopus and cheese board were great. I didn’t enjoy the paella or the pork belly. The restaurant is super load and echos. That was a bit annoying.

I’m a cheese lover so I had to order the “Aperitivo Board”, the patatas Bravas were my favorite besides the Mahón cheese, Grilled Octopus was perfectly cooked served on a salsa verde, cucumbers and jalapeños plate and for a sweet ending I had the Chocolate cake, I’m picky about my sweets and had to be honest, it was good but not quite as sweet as I was expecting, it had a coffee taste to it and it was served a little hot, definitely not my favorite part of dinner but the rest of the food was very fresh, clean flavors and small presentable portions. Parking can be challenging but overall it’s a nice fancy place with great customer service and a great atmosphere.

Definitely my favorite tapas place in Boston. Lots of options to choose from, and as a vegetarian there's a huge mix to pick from. Super fast and friendly service. Can get crowded on weekends so get a reservation. The prices are also great for the quality and portion size. Highly recommend.

We ordered a number of items. The main one that I ordered was from the paella section - the black ink squid dish. I think almost half of the dish was stuck on the skillet. The sangria was fun though. Other tapas were good as well. But not good enough to get a 5 star review.

Of course the food is good and the staff is friendly. Fresh takes on traditional dishes portioned in a way that allows you to try multiple dishes in a sitting. Quality AND quantity. What sold me, though, was the music choice. On point!!

Prefer the more spacious Brookline location, but any Barcelona outfit is worth a visit when you’re down for some tapas. Update: after years of visits to multiple locations, I know there’s always a wait even with a reservation, but we waited over an hour to be seated for a 5:30 res. When we were finally taken to a table sans any apology whatsoever, it was a table with two chairs. For our group of four. The server, Victor, was wonderful though - he should teach the front of the house.

One of my favorite places for a bite when I crave variety. There are plenty options for tapas ranging from vegetarian to meaty. Vibe/ambiance of this place is incredible. A fantastic date night kind of place. Favorites were the mushroom, eggplant, and scallops. Basque cheesecake was definitely not as sweet as a NY style, though the texture was amazing. It was my first time trying basque cheesecake and it was not even close to sweet enough for me, wouldn’t order again, but get it if you like desserts that aren’t as sweet!

Came across this gem for new years 2023. The atmosphere was jumping! The service was great. Food was out of this world! They started us with a complimentary appetizer. Forgot what it was called but it was delicious! For main course the wife ordered the Paella maricos and I had the roasted half chicken. Both were super good. We would highly recommend this place!!!

The paella takes a while to make so make sure to order it first if you know you absolutely want it— you should definitely get it. We had a hard time deciding which white wine to have but our server was patient, kind, and brought out three recommendations for us to choose from. We enjoyed dining here.

I suggest reserving ahead as it can get busy. It’s nearly impossible to get tapas in some city restaurants because of the pricing, but this was accessible and for that I give them high marks. High recommended.

Tapas are delicious and priced very reasonably, worth the long wait. To our surprise the manager Ruthney came over to table and apologized for the long wait and sent us a delicious charcuterie board on the house! It was super nice of her and the service was spectacular. We tried everything on the menu and had no complaints as the food kept getter better and better!

It's just a hint of it. Truth is they're maybe the tastiest pancakes I've had in all of Boston. Can't wait to come back, or rather, out of curiosity, I'm definitely going to check out the other location out of curiosity, and will also definitely come back here again for brunch.

We went to Barcelona Wine Bar over the Thanksgiving holiday. Our server was quick to greet us and take our drink orders. Food came hot and within 10 minutes. Amazing tasting food, great drinks and highly recommended.

Amazing! Little hard to get a table or a bar spot but we were lucky and got great seats at the bar! The staff was incredible, everyone was in a great mood, so attentive even though there was so many people at the bar. The food and drinks was unbelievable. We are already planing our next date here!
