I’ve been living in Boston for years and the Luke’s Lobster is still my favorite! Both lobster and crab roll are absolutely delicious, service was nice and quick, I’ve tried the new spicy mala lobster roll and was amazing, highly recommended!

So so so good. I tried the lobster roll and clam chowder. Excellent! But make sure you screen through the entire menu, I didn’t know that they have other flavours like hot honey, etc. lol, I was so quick when ordering. I would definitely come back to try other flavours when back to Boston.

Simply the best lobster roll, I've ever had. Tried multiple flavours of their 'hot roll', all were super with the truffle taking a slight lead to first place. Service is incredible and very customer oriented. Definitely having this again on my next visit to Boston!

Really great quality food. The crab roll was so fresh and equally as good as the lobster roll. I tried a few spots for lobster on my trip to Boston, and Luke’s takes the trophy. It’s very expensive, but what can you expect for lobster in downtown Boston! Awesome low key spot with very fresh seafood.

We stopped in for lunch while walking the freedom trail. I got the three roll sampler because I could decide between the delicious sounding choices. Yes all three shrimp, crab, and lobster rolls are super delicious. I thought the shrimp roll tested the best personally while my wife's favorite was the lobster. I will say that they paid the perfect respect to the delicate flavor of lobster.

Prices are a bit high but seemingly fair. I loved all the rolls we got which were two flights, first the lukes trio and the seasonal flight. My favorite was the lemon butter lobster roll (seasonal) followed by the original lobster roll. The crab roll was a cheap but very good alternative to the lobster roll as it had tons of crab in it and good flavor. I love how they show on the wall where their seafood is coming from that day! The idea of having flights is so great! My fiance had never had a lobster roll and was excited to try them all! We also got the clam chowder but it was nothing to write home about. Too thin for my liking and the clam was very chewy. The second photo with my dog was the warm butter lobster roll 6 ounces. It was also very good! I love warm lobster rolls especially in winter!

I try lobster, shrimp and crab roll plus the chowder.. Amazingly, from the first bite it is so satisfying.. the freshness of the lobster, shrimp and crab eventhough they are cold... the crisp of the bread.. the chowder is warm n delicious... all are so yummy ❤

I speed walked from the rail at North Station to get here for chowder, only to find they’d run out of both soups! Noooo! My fault for getting there fifteen minutes before closing, though. I ended up ordering Luke’s Trio recommended by a couple other reviews. Going from shrimp to crab to lobster, I honestly couldn’t say which was my favorite! The seafood is served cold, but the bread was lightly toasted fresh, warm drawn butter on the side. Great service and absolutely delicious.

Large lobster roll was delicious, and expensive. Only issue was my Cape Cod potato chips that were not crispy like a chip, but almost soggy. They looked normal, and weren’t expired, so maybe I just got a bad bag.

I loved the lobster roll flight. Even though it was three smaller rolls, they were each filled with lobster and it was nice to have the variety. Each was good in its own way. The clam chowder was also good. Probably the best bang for my buck when I was in Boston.

The trio is great choice to try a bit of everything, lobsters, shrimps and crabmeat. They are all tasty. Make sure request the hot buttered lobstered so it’s warm. The bread is fluffy and tasty.

The lobster roll was amazing! The best one I’ve ever had. The gluten-free roll, was soft, did not fall apart, and was the bomb. Worth every penny!

Loved my lobster roll! It was so delicious and the clam chowder was a nice touch. The cashier helped me pick the best roll for what I wanted. It is a small place in a great area with a lot of shopping. Definitely stop by for a quick bite, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect for a lunch stop! I was looking for seafood for lunch, and I found that Luke’s had a trio of rolls- shrimp, lobster, and crab. I got it with the chowder and it was phenomenal! Price was a bit steep but that is to be expected downtown for seafood. The restaurant itself was small but very clean and comfortable. A great place to try!

When I get a bottled water, a lobster roll, and a small cup of lobster bisque, and it is $52 before tip, it had better be astronomically delicious. The lobster was fresh and pretty good. The lobster bisque was average. A little disappointing for the price. The staff were pretty cool for the most part. The place was clean inside.

Luke’s continues to deliver on excellence. As someone gluten free I’m so appreciative of the options offered here. The GF roll is outstanding. I love to get the Trio sampler with mini individual Lobster, Crab, and Shrimp rolls. And they offer GF Lobster bisque! Hot! And delicious! Best lobster rolls I’ve found outside Maine.

Fresh lobster and crab meat - what more is there to say? The trio was a great choice since i wanted to try out as many items off of the menu as possible. Lobster was amazing but the crab roll turned out to be my favorite. Tender, sweet meat that just melts in your mouth. Lobster bisque wasn’t bad either.

Pleased to have eaten here and tried a good selection of seafood! We got gluten free bread with our rolls so you might want to call ahead and see if they have any available to avoid any mishaps. It was REAL good. DELICIOUS. Worth visiting for sure, safe for gluten free eaters!

I visited for the gluten free chowder and bisque. It did not disappoint. They do have gluten free sandwich / roll options but I’ll have to enjoy those another day.

This was the third lobster roll I tried in Boston, and it was the best. I didn’t expect to enjoy my meal from a chain as much as the smaller restaurants on the water, but the food tasted fresher and the trio was a filling way to sample three different items. It was also the least expensive lobster roll we had in Boston. I’d gladly return again.

Luke’s trio with the lobster roll, crab roll, and shrimp roll are a great way to try all of their rolls. The lobster roll was my favorite though! Made it a combo and had the lobster corn chowder! Delicious!!

  • 4/5 César Rincón M. 2 years ago on Google
The lobster roll here is extremely good. I had the pesto lobster roll, you should try it! The combo is nice, it comes with a drink and a soup (clam showder) or chips. I personally recommend the soup, its really good! The only problem is that the store isbrrally warm inside. I think they should fix that, because it can be uncomfortable. 4/5.

Very delicious lobster roll! It is fantastic idea to integrate cold fresh lobster with hot brittle break as sandwiches. It is expensive for lunch but worthy! I am traveling here and satisfied with this meal.

1st time for lobsta roll. Theirs is the cold with mayo type. Got the small 4 oz, and Cole slaw. Both were excellent.
