Came here on a Saturday evening. Ordered online for pickup but they have a few tables set up right outside (well spaced apart, available first-come first-serve) so ended up doing outdoor dining. We basically never go to vegan restaurants so weren’t sure how it’d be but we had a surprisingly pleasant experience at Taco Party. Tried a couple of the tacos (Jackfruit Tinga, Lentils Al Pastor), a seitan chorizo torta, and nachos. The food was very well-prepared and of good quality. The texture of the jackfruit was good, as was the seitan. Everything tasted pretty good too, just a bit on the bland side. Wish the jackfruit was seasoned more; the seitan patty was a little too salty but otherwise not spiced. The sunflower seed cheese on the nachos was okay, but not great. It would’ve helped if the nachos had some more toppings like tomato, avocado, cilantro, and fresh jalapeños instead of pickled ones; caramelized onions would be a nice addition too. My favorite part of the meal was the lentil taco - the al pastor sauce in it had a nice kick to it and the bits of grilled pineapple worked perfectly. We also tried the oat milk horchata cocktail and really enjoyed it. Very boozy! Overall, we were happy to try some interesting vegan options. Some more flavorful sauces and use of spices and fresh veggies would really elevate the food.

They’ve gotten five stars from nearly every customer for a reason! It’s a small, simple menu with very creative and inspired options. Super ethical, very delicious, and it was just really cool seeing customers from different cultures all come together in this vegan taco shop. Seating is extremely limited, so plan on eating on-the-go or taking your food home. There weren’t any desserts when we went on a Sunday afternoon, and it would be awesome if they had vegan quesadillas and vegan breakfast burritos, but the torta and the sweet potato tacos were excellent!

Another Google amazing find. Searched for vegan places and Taco Party had great reviews. I had the two taco meal with Chorizo Seitan and Chimichurri Tempe and rice & black beans as a side. My wife had the Tortas sandwich with fried tofu. We both really enjoyed our meals. Cute atmosphere with three tables and chairs plus three window seats. I also had the Magic Bar that was great. I can highly suggest Taco Party.

I barely know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. I've never had a taco without meat. This place has a simple name, but don't let that fool you. It's a total party in your mouth. The owner, Keith, is a cool dude, too.

First time to this restaurant, the service is rude and Looks like a fast food restaurant, if you don't know you need to tip, the waitress will slam the food on the table and won't give you cutlery. You order at the counter and you have to tip before you get the food and service. Very disappointed, what a terrible place. While waiting for the food I was thinking of tipping cash at the end of the meal. But then the cashier waitress deliberately and rudely threw the food on the table with no communication and no cutlery to express her dissatisfaction. What is the point of tipping? Thank you so much for being rude to us? The food is not as good as the reviews say, I just came here to try it because of the good reviews. The food was horrible and the sauce tasted weird. Won't go again, waste of money, bad food and will make you feel bad. This is the worst restaurant I have ever come across!

Two words. Breakfast. Taco. Actually the cheezy potato taco is probably my favorite. I first found their food truck many years ago walking outside of the Pru and I was blown away. Delicious and fun vegan tacos. Fantastic.

As a non-vegan, I had avoided this place for a little while, thinking it wasn't for me, but that was a big mistake. I've now gone there several times and tried one of each taco on the menu, and they're all fantastic. One of the standouts too is the Nachos. The bean dip, which is also available with chips on the side of a taco order is just really good.

A really cute place. The decor is very retro/vintage. It has a simple but tasty menu. I got the horchata, cheesy potato taco, and crispy fried tofu taco. The crispy fried tofu was awesome. I really liked the crispy tofu.

I meant to take more photos of the food but it was so tasty I didn’t get the chance! I love Taco Party. If you’re reading this review wondering if your non vegan friend will like it please just go for it. The food is so satisfying, filling, delicious, affordable, and original. The drinks are so so so good. The ambiance and art and decor is perfect. This place is the vibe. Taco Party forever.

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but my personal favorite is the Jackfruit taco! Space is a little small but functional. Great vegan options!

I love that taco party is vegan, and I will do everything I can to support vegan restaurants. The chocolate horchata is excellent, but otherwise the food is just okay. There are significant better similar vegan restaurants in the area, such as Veggie Galaxy and Veggie Grill. Taco Party has a wide variety of tacos, but the flavors are hit or miss; Veggie Grill has a smaller selection but each one is great. The toppings on the nachos aren't too flavorful except for the the pickled jalapenos, the cheese doesn't have much taste for example, the toppings don't permeate much below the top layer, and there's a surprisingly cool scoop of bean pate on top of the dish; on the other hand, Veggie Galaxy's nachos are superb.

Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. period. vegan or not! My husband and I like to come and get one of each of the tacos and share them. We recently brought friends here and each of us had a different favorite taco. My favorite is the crispy tofu. They have a really impressive way of showcasing plant-based/meatless tacos. Coming here in July actually inspired us to be vegan in our own household—so thank you! We are returning customers.

We had an amazing meal at Taco Party! I have been following their Instagram for years and luckily found myself in the area. I am so glad that I stopped by. We had an amazing vegan meal, nachos, tacos, and even dessert! We will definitely return!

Phenomenal tacos. The highlights are the nachos, crispy fried tofu taco, and torta with crispy fried tofu. But you really can’t go wrong! My only recommendation would be to getter napkins for dine-in. Tacos are super messy and the napkins are thin and tiny.

Vegan visitor from out of town perspective: Restaurant has a very cute design and interior. Friendly staff. We ordered three of the tacos, the nachos, and the torta with chorizo. We felt everything kinda lacked flavor except for the torta, the patty itself was the most flavorful thing. I appreciated elements of the tacos we ordered like the well cooked potatoes and the nice crunch of the tofu but felt like flavor was missing. I think the thing we were most disappointed about was the bean spread because we love beans. Can’t speak about the beans that come with rice as a side, because they were out of those. My partner enjoyed the Boozy Horchata cocktail.

Im absolutely in love with this place, I kinda wish it had longer hours of operation, always Such a great service, great prices and great everything. Great experience every single time. Excellent quality, good prices. There's nothing else I can write to describe the experience, you've got to live it by yourself to know what I'm talking about. If I had to choose this place, over any other taco place in the city, I'm telling you, no hesitation. I'd choose taco party. Mexican approved 😂🤟

Coming to eat at Taco Party is a legit party for me. The food always tastes great, fresh, and authentic everything that a taco place should be. This place blows those type of places away.

While I am not a dedicated vegetarian, I did enjoy the healthy taco options (and appreciated the vintage decor and indoor and outdoor seating options). The staff is friendly, and I was impressed with their patience while dealing with a complicated custom order.

The cuisine here is delicious. The decoration of the space is lovely and interesting. A really great place to investigate and appreciate. The floor staff make you wonder when your next root canal is —perhaps you should go get one instead of being disrespected by the harsh and uncaring staff. And then there’s the price. Laughable. Taco Party is insanely overpriced. Get a grip. It’s street food.

Love the food (even if it's a bit pricey). My partner and I have been ordering from here for years through uber eats. Today we decided to go in and order take out. I placed my order and immediately after I pressed "no tip" the woman checking me out turned around and rudely said "okay". Right after that any question was answered with the most rude tone and I almost cancelled my order and walked out. I always tip when dinning in, but rarely tip when ordering take out (as accustomed by etiquette standards). I was so put off by her rudeness, if I ever want to come back and see her working I'll make sure to go elsewhere. Love the food but that rude staffer ruined my experience.

Hands down the BEST vegan chorizo around! If you love tacos, and want to switch it up veggie style, be sure to check them out. Their salad dressing is DELISH and I need to buy it by the bottle for my boring at home salads and veggies. They also now offer MARGARITAS to go!!! And beer, but MARGARITAS!!

Best service, food, creativity, atmosphere. Ronnica, Charlie, and the talented kitchen staff made my day. Everything I tried was perfectly cooked, portioned, plated, and delivered. Would have tried to poach their workers but resisted out of sheer respect.

I’ve gotten food from here every 2-3 weeks for years now!! :)) it’s so consistently good! It just hits the spot! You gotta try it! What more can I say? I love the sweet potato taco when they have it in season - the cheezy potato taco is great too!! The chimichuri tempeh is really good - the sietan is good - the fried tofu - the jackfruit is my other go to - so basically every taco!! Yeah! You can’t go wrong! And get the nachos too!

The best tacos, tortas, and people you will find at a restaurant in Boston. I love all of their food and eat their constantly. Prices are low, people are kind, food is delicious, service is quick, could not ask for more.

From the moment I entered it seemed like I was bothering the employee, ordered to go and didn't get basic to go items (bag,utensils,napkins). Was told to wait in a separate room for food? Lol what a strange place. Potato tacos were pretty aight though.

The food was really good. It is a cozy location. Bummer that there are not hard taco options. Not side like small and beans, fried plantains/yuca. The original and chocolate horchata was very tasty. Definitely would go and recommend.

Me and my kids love this place! Been eating this food since they had the food trucks. Two new adds to the menu since the trucks which I like the most is the breakfast taco and Tortas!! Get some!!!

There was a mix up and I got a different order. It didn't matter at all the food was GREAT! The Chorizo Seitan Taco's were delicious and perfectly spicy and the chocolate chip cookies were the best I've ever eaten! The staff was very friendly and I can't wait to eat there again!

My favorite place in the square. Consistently good and never disappoints. Staff is great. Their patio and margs are lovely, though we usually get take out. Always worth trying rhe special taco if they happen to have one!

This is my favorite restaurant. Best vegan tacos in Boston hands down, cool taco-crunching cat decor, and wonderful service. They also have great beer available. Even if you aren't vegan you will love this place, guaranteed.

Awesome tacos! Made the trip to South Station most Wednesdays for their Panko Fried Tofu and the Chimichurri Tempeh, both are wicked! Update: A must visit in Somerville! Fantastic pinto dip, fantastic taco options in a laid back atmosphere. A few tables outside as well.

If you don't eat meat and like tacos then this is the place for you. But I didn't have enough meats or shrimps

As a self proclaimed vegan food critic for over 20 years, I was extremely impressed by these tacos. SO flavorful, amazing textures, beautiful and they were stuffed to overflowing. My wife and I enjoyed sharing all seven tacos they were offering which included one amazing special with Yuba (tofu skin). This taco shop is doing it right. Of course not to mention, that no animals suffered or died for you to enjoy a meal here! It's a win-win. Don't miss it!

Delicious vegan tacos! Fast and friendly service. I recommend the nachos and the fries tofu taco. My husband had the mushroom taco and the sweet potato taco. He is an omni and he still loved everything we had here.

Well researched vegan menu with great taste

An all-vegan, delicious hole-in-the-wall taco place - the food was really delicious, and their prices aren't bad at all. The tacos are small (I think that's how authentic tacos are) with really tasty, well-seasoned fillings. There is limited seating and parking, but well worth the stop to get good vegan food.

Excellent food and inexpensive.

We drove up from New Jersey, It's much cheaper than the food that we get back home and tastes better too. Everything is obviously made in house and you can taste the difference, we got the nachos and they were so good that we came back the next day to get even more food. The okonomi sauce is amazing, the cheese for the nachos and pickled jalapenos are awesome

Tofu panko taco is exceptional - great contrasting textures, great flavor. BBQ jackfruit is also very enjoyable.
