I understand they are short staff...but HOW do you present this as medium well? This is burnt...after we spoke to the assistant manager after they sent the same steak out twice...we finally received a "descent" steak...they should close until they have enough staff...unacceptable

This was our first time visiting the Outback Steakhouse in Somerville and we will absolutely be coming back due to the wonderful service from our server Kasey. She arrived at our table promptly with a pep in her step and a twinkle in her eye. She treated us as though she had known us our whole life and made a feel welcome. If you’re looking for five star service Kasey is your girl. The food arrived in an orderly fashion and everything was extremely tasty. If I could give more stars I would.

The taste on the ribs eye was pretty good, I asked for medium it was more like medium rare. The clam chowder soup was good side. Bread was tasty!

For a steak house I was let down with the ribeye. My wife had the prime rib and it had much better flavor. Plus the prime rib was tender. The ribeye was tough. The rice seemed old. The mashed potatoes were good. The service was very good.

Great variety of exceptionally cooked steak cuts at very reasonable prices. Friendly, patient and helpful staff as well. Definitely try the bone ribeye (see photo).

Great food and great service. Very consistent here you always get exactly what you're expecting a great meal. If you go before 4:00 p.m. the lunch specials are a great value.

Ordered the caramel mustard glazed pork chops. Some of the best pork chops I've ever had! Pork chops were super flavourful, both sweet and slightly peppery. It was juicy and tender. 🤤 Dining in also came with complementary bread with whipped butter dip. The waitress was really friendly and constantly checked on me.

A veritable haven of peace, the restaurant's restrooms. I experienced an immediate sense of peace once I entered. The tranquil ambiance was enhanced by the background music and the exquisite decoration of the room. The design elements and aromatic hand soap were just two examples of the excellent attention to detail and exceptional cleanliness. Even the slightest things demonstrate how much the restaurant regards the convenience and enjoyment of its customers.

Our steaks were done to perfection and were juicy and delicious. Loved the twice - baked potato. The portions are generous and the service was fabulous. It got pretty noisy in there but not overwhelming. We took a taxi to avoid parking issues. Over all it was a really fun time for our group.

During my experience at Outback a few weekends ago, I enjoyed the food, but the service wasn't good. Our waitress could have done a better job. For the appetizers, I ordered wings and a steak cheese dip, and they were both really good. I always get the wings, but this is the 1st time getting the dip, and I would definitely get it again. For the main dishes, I ordered the shrimp and steak alfredo pasta and steak and fried shrimp entree with a side of vegetables and loaded mashed potatoes. Everything was all really good. The steak on both dishes was very tender and cooked perfectly. The only complaint is that the pasta was a little dry and could have used a little more alfredo sauce. But everything else was really good. The service wasn't great. After the waitress brought our food, she never came back to check on us and also took forever to bring the check. We noticed she was over at the bar talking to two customers and watching the game for a little while. We actually had to ask another waitress to bring us boxes. If it was busy, then it wouldn't be an issue, but it was a Sunday . The fact that she was socializing while we were waiting around wasn't cool. Other than that, the food was great, and I would return.

If you're a fan of wings, you have to try the ones at this restaurant. They are hands down the best wings I've ever had! The size of the wings is impressive, and they're always juicy and flavorful. The sauce selection is extensive, and each one is a winner. You won't be disappointed with these wings!

This eatery serves a delicious chicken kebab. The flesh is wonderfully juicy and soft, and it has been marinated in a flavorful mixture that enhances every taste. The kebabs are well cooked, and the outside has a faint char that adds a delectable smokiness. I can't get enough of this dish since it is so tasty and filling!

The lobster is a not fresh the steak is a bit hard. The service and atmosphere is great though

My husband and I go on a date every Saturday night. We are foodies and love to try all of the fine dining restaurants in the Boston area. Last night we opted to go casual at Outback. Mercedes is a relatively new waitress but gave us THE BEST service we’ve had in awhile. She was a delight and our food was fast, fresh, and delicious. Thank you Mercedes! We will definitely return!

My family came here for a very special occasion. The front desk staff was great. The server was clearly overwhelmed. He could not remember who had what drink or entree. All of our steaks were overcooked. One steak was returned for being undercooked, and it was remade to then being overcooked. This was my 1st time here. Can say it will be my last. But kudos to the people at the front desk. Very friendly front desk staff. But the friendliness stopped there

I ordered a RARE Prime Rib and they sent me this. My potato soup also had no bacon in it. This is supposed to be Outback. Never again!

Great service and parking. Steaks were cooked right. However my baked potato was barely warm. Had to wait for the hot one, but by that time my steak was almost finished. So not a good experience. In some places if there is an issue with the food, manager shows up but not here. Rest of the food was perfect so I will give them another shot.

We went there yesterday! The place is at assembly row nearby Nike store. You can easily go by Public transportation, assembly t station goes in there! The place is good, charm and there are some television where you can watch games while you have your meal. There are restrooms inside the restaurant and I couldn't find wifi spot there! The waiter was really kind and respectful and we order a glazed pork chops and salmon. The food was really good! The only thing that I didn't like was wait for a table knowing that the restaurant was not full!

When I tell you this was the best steak I have ever had I’m telling you this is the best steak I have ever had. I ordered steak (well done), french fries, and cookies for dessert and it was all delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked and super rich and tender and the service is amazing they they took a lot of care and provided my family and I with pillows, a heater, and allowed us to switch seats may times.

Fantastic dinner! The staff was very quick with the various meat skewers, and our meal was simply fantastic. Loved every single thing that landed on my plate. Tried several items I may not have previously been interested in, and everything as still great!

I booked a table here last Tuesday before going to the theatre for my partner’s big birthday and from the moment we arrived to when we left we could not fault anything. Our waiter was attentive & they asked if everything was OK and the food was amazing! My partner had the fillet steak & he said it was one of the best steaks he’s ever had (and he’s had a few in good restaurants 😀!). I mentioned when I booked the table that it was my partner’s ‘big’ birthday and they presented him with a lovely dessert 😊. Definitely recommend this restaurant & I’d certainly come back again!

Good food and service! Prices are reasonable for this quality of food (which is pretty good). The staff is friendly, even when they’re very busy and there’s time for a little small talk and fun, even when the place is packed with customers. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I ordered a ceasar salad to go. There were exactly 5 croutons, a few pieces of chicken, and someone remembered to sprinkle a bit of parmesan in the the middle of the salad just before they packed it up.

This place is a 5 Star on my count ALL DAY long because of 3 main reasons: 1- Big Brendan is the man when it comes to an I type personality profile. Amazing human being that treat you like you’re worth his time and the man knows how to hold his own. He walks around that has as like he owns it and that’s nothing short of amazing. Huge congrats to him and his team for being able to pull of such a great atmosphere at a work place. 2- Food was impressively good. I don’t recall outback tasting that good EVER. 3- The ambience and location. Place is easy to get to, accessible for any person and the ambience is very relaxing, place is clean and organized. Bathrooms were clean and I have no negative feedback for Thai particular Outback whatsoever. (And I’ve been to a few) They should all model this one and they should also promote Brendan (Big B) on to area manager if not manager’s trainer as he clearly knows how to make people feel welcome and understands hospitality. Oh and BTW if you’re thinking I know the guys personally, I don’t even know if that’s his real name, or if I screwed it up of what. All I know is that he’s a Big teddy bear and someone worthy of my respect, appreciation and honor. (All from spending 15 min in the same room) May God continue pouring in to his life and where he goes as well as Outback for having recruited such a great talent. Please go visit this place if you’re around and in the mood for steak. BTW, the did I say the food was AMAAAAAAZING

I've been here before but this was the first time with my family. Our waitress was amazing, always checking in on us. Food was stellar and our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! The sirloin steak melts in your mouth, green beans are on point, and can't forget the rolls! It is hard to get in at times but definitely worth the wait.

This was the first time I had been at this restaurant. The food was delicious and hot. It was clean and busy. The prices are very reasonable and the servings are just the right amount. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The only good-side on my visit is that the employees are the friendliest. They welcomed their customers.

I was just there recently and it's still a good place to eat with family ... To me it a pretty good chain restaurant nothing to special the steak was cook very good ..the wings is also very good ..I love the ahi tuna it's delicious

Service was good but no vegan options. Also, the oil they use to fry anything there is Beef Tallow oil. Basically, beef fat. So I got plain dry fettuccine & mushrooms Then, I asked for olive oil, scallions, salt & pepper. We also didn't get bread, one serving, not until we were about to leave. But the manager was nice trying to accommodate me.

Actually, I would like to give 4 stars for the food, and 2 stars for the service. In average, it got 3 stars from me: FOOD: The steak we ordered was very tasty. The seasonal shrimp and bread were enjoyable. But, the house salad was kinda rough. The seasonal smoke drink was tasted like cough syrup, not my type. SERVICE: The waiter was very hard to get. It took us a long wait for placing the order and getting the check. He never came to check for the bread and drink refill.... And the restaurant was not busy when we were eating there.

Our waiter Richard had such a cheerful personality. That made my dinner with my daughter 10x more enjoyable!

The steak was great nice jucy n tender it was very well seasoned!! The steak dip was good fast service Ian was attentive n polite we enjoyed our meals very much n will be back soon thank you
