The
Boston
Symphony
Orchestra
is
one
of
the
best
in
the
world.
I've
been
a
subscriber
and
have
purchased
single
tickets.
The
BSO
has
free
events
like
BSO
101
and
tours.
I've
sat
in
the
narrow
jump
seats
on
the
second
balcony,
in
the
back
of
the
orchestra,
front
row
seats,
prime
orchestra
seats,
and
everywhere
in
between.
While
every
seat
is
a
good
seat
acoustically,
they're
not
all
equal.
First
balcony
left,
first
row,
close
to
the
stage
is
my
favorite
spot
because
there
are
no
obstructions
like
heads
and
the
stage
can
be
easily
seen
no
matter
your
height.
Acoustically,
these
seats
in
the
first
balcony
or
the
center
to
left
orchestra,
around
row
H
through
K
are
my
preference.
One
year,
Anne
Sophie
Mutter
was
the
performer
on
the
first
day
of
the
season
and
performed
with
her
back
to
the
audience,
facing
her
fellow
performers.
I
was
sitting
towards
the
front,
to
the
right.
Couldn't
see
her
at
all,
except
when
she
came
or
left
the
stage.
There's
definitely
some
type
of
Blindspot
to
the
right.
Whether
it's
strings,
piano,
or
choral,
the
BSO
gives
great
concerts.
I
do
prefer
the
more
classical
works
like
Beethoven,
Mozart,
and
Tchaikovsky.
