This tour supports small, authentic businesses!! My mother and I took Anthony’s Politically Incorrect North End Food Tour this past week. Hands down the best experience we’ve had in Boston! Anthony was funny and knowledgeable about both history and current events in the North End. He showed us restaurants and shops that are truly North End Italian owned and operated! He also told us what to avoid when looking for a restaurant in town. Anthony was funny - the whole group was laughing throughout the tour! We had some incredible food and dessert and got to meet fellow travelers along the way. I can’t recommend this tour enough!! The food was incredibly delicious. We were definitely full at the end! We plan on taking the tour again when we visit Boston next time. 🚫🤌🏻

I would give Anthony's tour a 10 if I could. He is a great historian and story teller, very entertaining. He is the real deal, having lived and worked his whole life in the North End. Every restaurant stop included interesting background info on the owners and/or chefs and the food was fabulous and generous. Anthony also shared inside tips for finding authentic Italian food throughout the area. I have gone on quite a few walking gourmet tours around the world, and this ranks as one of the best and most fun.

What a great food tour, it greatly exceeded our expectations. Anthony is wonderfully funny in his no BS manner. The food was plentiful and authentically prepared. You won't find this much value in any other tour.

Our visiting family really enjoyed doing this tour, it was one of the highlights of their visit to Boston. The food and ambiance of the places we visited was excellent. Anthony is a character whose stories of the old neighborhood and its evolution into what it is today was fun and informative. I tried some food I have never had and discovered many new places. Since we did this tour my husband and I have visited the North end neighborhood multiple times again to visit the places from the tour as well as new ones.

Anthony AKA Flash! What an experience! From the "politically incorrect" insights about the neighborhood's history and all of its characters to the hidden gems of the North End, there wasn't a single aspect of the tour we didn't fully enjoy. Still crazy how we ended up on a tour with a double birthday and a double Karen ;). Thank you for making our Boston experience truly unforgettable! To anyone reading this, if you are considering a food tour THIS IS THE ONE! You won't find anyone better and more authentically Italian.

"The Best tour we've taken anywhere we have traveled!" This was the most entertaining tour we have taken ...anywhere we have traveled in the USA or abroad! Anthony was animated, honest, hilarious , beyond knowledgeable of the neighborhood and highly entertaining. There is no better person to teach you about the food ,culture, and history of the people and Mafia😊 of Little Italy than a person born and raised there.! The whole day was perfect....from the shops to the restaurants to the colonial sites ...but the highlight of the day was the authentic Italian lunch served at Mama Maria's (not the restaurant Mama Maria's) dining table . His Mother's Dining table at her house.! Incredible !! This tour will make your trip to Boston . It was special!!!!

A MUST DO for first-time Boston visitors!! Guide is funny and very entertaining. We tried different items that we probably would not have tried. We started with a tasty 4 cheese pizza from Quattro. Honestly, best cheese pizza I've ever had. Next, had Arancini from Monica's. Again, something we've never had. So delicious we went back for more the next day. Had an Italian sub then Sfogliatella at Bricco, an amazing flaky pastry from some little place down a hidden alley. I was happy that we didn't do the usual cannolli pastry, which you can do on your own, no guide needed. Overall, fantastic food Tour. It exceeded our expectations. There's so many companies offering food tours so we were very satisfied with our choice.

My friends and I absolutely loved our tour! Anthony was great. All of his stories could've been made up. I don't know anything about the mafia so I'm going to believe him! More importantly the food was FIRE! I can't wait to go back to Boston just to eat at all of the places we went to. Take this tour now! But don't bring your kids.

Anthony did a great job of telling entertaining jokes and stories. He was also incredibly good at zipping into these very busy restaurants and food establishments and grabbing food for everyone like a little Italian food-bearing version of The Flash. I was good and well-stuffed before we were done. Probably my favorite thing I did on my trip to Boston.

If you don’t want a sterile tour led by someone who doesn’t live in the neighborhood, then Anthony is the guy to show you around.

John and I really enjoyed this tour. Anthony was great fun with endless stories rich with history. He also knew when to shut up and let the food And the environment speak for itself! Great experience!

Best food tour by a Boston local! Every spot that Anthony brought us to was amazing. He seemed to know everyone and conveyed the history of the neighborhood through his experiences.

This guy was great! Would send friends and family to him in a heartbeat! Loved meeting his mom and enjoying an authentic, homemade Italian meal at the end.

We booked this tour through the AirBnb app. The tour was exactly as described. We had a great time. Anthony was a great guide. I would recommend the tour.

I had booked a tour for 5 but I missed my flight the night before. Anthony kindly took the other 4 from our party on the scheduled tour and invited me to attend the next days tour and also let my Dad join me (him repeating the tour). Very accommodating, a nice and funny guy and the food and history stories were excellent. Highly recommend.

We were a group of moms on our yearly weekend getaway. We had a wonderful experience on the "Politically Incorrect" North End Food Tour with Anthony. He was an amazing guide and had the perfect combination of humor and knowledge to make it one of the best food tours our group has experienced! (We do them in every city we visit) Anthony really knew the best local gems to visit and had a wealth of knowledge since he grew up there. Definitely recommend Anthony if you want to laugh and eat your way through the North End of Boston!

What a great Boston North End tour! I bought 4 tickets for my two adult daughters and sister. I knew when I reviewed North End food tour options that Anthony would be the perfect fit... He grew up in the neighborhood and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We all loved his candor, sense of humor and stories. Oh, and we can't forget the amazing food along the way. The food experience at every stop was amazing and we were not disappointed. I've been to the North End many times and we were introduced to places I never would have considered and look forward to returning to the next time we are in the area.

We truly had an amazing time on this tour. Initially we weren't sure what to expect, but the food was amazing and Anthony is a true local with knowledge of the area and relationships with the local restaurants. It seemed everywhere we went someone was greeting him, "Hey Tony!" It was rainy the day of our tour, so he invited our small group to walk to his nearby apartment to dry off while enjoying pizza. He was incredibly hospitable and everyone in our group seemed to enjoy themselves. We never felt rushed and it was the perfect mix of delicious food and taking in the local culture and its history.

  • 5/5 Andrea M. 1 year ago on Google
Best local tour by a true authentic local. Anthony's history with the neighborhood was a fantastic informational layer that no other food tour I've been on has ever had. His history for food choices and selections were fantastic. Politically incorrect was just sassy and a little less classy. So funny! My 13 and 16 year old girls loved it too. We'd do it all over again.

  • 5/5 Casey K. 1 year ago on Google
Anthony's tour was top notch, combining North End neighborhood history, local culture, Italian food and a very wide vocabulary! Probably the best Boston tour we've ever taken. The food choices were very good - extremely tasty and portioned well for a 3 hour tour. If you're at all interested in the last 50 years of North End history, told by someone who lived it, there's no tour better. Highly recommended! Thank you Anthony! Casey & Cari

What a great 3 hours with Anthony!! I lived in the North End for years and had never been to most of the places we went to and certainly didn't know half of the history Anthony does. Everywhere we went, the food was delicious, the owners were wonderful, they loved Anthony and the stories even better! Only a born and bred true Italian who grew up there can give you an experience worth going on. You will be learning, laughing and enjoying it all.

  • 5/5 Reighan K. 1 year ago on Google
Anthony was amazing! He was hilarious and very knowledgeable! It was so fun to walk around North End and to learn about not only the Italian history but also how the city has developed. We ate AMAZING food (that most tourists don’t know about) and the portions were way bigger than expected. I live on Cape and will be suggesting this tour to anyone who visits me. You definitely get your moneys worth!! Thanks again!!!!

My daughter and I did this tour last year and it was awesome!! She was 20 at the time and thought it sounded kind of lame and didn’t want to go because she was worried about why it was called the “politically incorrect” food tour. The guide just calls it politically incorrect because he kind of makes fun of (but not really in a mean way) people not from Boston that give historical neighborhood tours.Turned out to be one of my daughter’s favorite things we did there. The tour stops at several “old school gems” and ends at the tour guides Mom’s house for homemade pasta with bolognese sauce and homemade cannolis. It really was a highlight of our trip.

I've been on many tours in many different cities but this tour was one of the most fun things I have ever done . It's not your typical tasting tour through Little Italy. As a matter of fact Anthony's concept (our tour guide is great) . He doesn't take any tastings from any establishments because he says then the truth is comprimised. He doesn't want to promote or recommend a place based on what they give the group so any tastings are all paid for by Anthony as part of the tour. Although there isn't many little tastings along the way there is a full lunch or dinner from local establishments that is decided as a group . For example Regina Pizza . Italian subs, cannollis, and some of Nonna's cooking but the unique thing we all go back to his mother's house to enjoy a full lunch. Come hungry there is plenty of food offered. You get so comfortable at mama Maria's who is a sweet heart of a women that you literally feel like your part of the family and neighborhood. This tour is worth the money only in food but with the entertainment supplied mostly by Anthony with a little help from some neighborhood buddies it becomes a bargain. These are new tours that just started this year so don't be skeptical because of the lack of reviews and exposure. In the next year you will see this to be one of the best if not the best tour of Boston's North End/ Little Italy.

Great personality and view into life in the North End. Get to go to Nonna's for lunch after what a treat!

I'm the tour guide and developer of this crazy tour and being Politically Incorrect tours I can rate my own tour. If I don't think it's a five star tour then who will. So yes it is a five star tour so I advise you to take it and at least I'm telling you that 'm the tour guide and not just doing a fake review which many business owners do. If Donald Trump doesn't win I would love to hire him because he says things I say on my tour so he would fit in. Maybe I can run for President some day. Why not? 😊🇺🇸

Very fun! Great food, we were stuffed at the end. The commentary was hilarious and some stories were very sweet and touching about the residents of the north end. We enjoyed Anthony’s down to earth casual tour a lot. Would recommend this to anyone searching for a creative and yummy way to explore little Italy.

  • 5/5 Cherie T. 4 years ago on Google
Coming from an Italian family, I found this tour absolutely wonderful, hilarious and engaging! We truly belly laughed throughout the entire experience. The food was wonderful and you will go places you wouldn't find on your own. Trust me, don't bat an eyelash at the price tag on this tour. If you were dumped in the North end, you'd blow $50 on a bowl of pasta and a couple glasses of wine at lunch and be done and out of there in an hour. The tour was worth it to not only kill a boring, rainy day but you'll leave stuffed with food and full of great historical knowledge that just made the tour. My only complaint is that he does smoke through the tour. As a former smoker, it was really not all that pleasant but that's on me, not him. Anyway, everyone in Boston smokes and chucks their cigarette butts on the street. Just a heads up if you can't eat around cigarette smoke. Otherwise, stellar. Thank you, Anthony!

What a fun and informative tour. Definitely not for those who are offended by off color humor or politically incorrect attitudes. Tour guide knows his neighborhood inside and out, we picked up some great insider information that we used on the rest of our visit to Boston.

Had a great time getting to know Tony & Little Italy. Lots of colorful stops & shops, great food, & the only place you end up in the dining room he grew up in! So much fun! We would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for something off the beaten path (and a little off-color).

Loved the tour! Whenever I get to a new city I always wanted to have a local friend telling me all about the local favorites. And Flash the one! He’s a great guide and truly a local, he told us all the fun stories growing up in the 70s and how the little Italy gentrifies, he’s a treasure trove of local eats and gives great recommendations. He embodies the Italians attitude and we had so much fun banters now that we don’t have to worry about political correctness bs. Despite being a bit politically incorrect He has a good heart. Highly recommend and will come back next time around!

What a great way to spend an afternoon! We thoroughly enjoyed hearing Anthony’s (aka Flash) stories of growing up in the North End and a bit of history of the area. He’s an entertaining storyteller! Go hungry to this tour as the places he takes you to are incredibly delicious! Thank you Anthony! You might see us on a future tour when we bring other family members to town!

  • 5/5 Joan B. 2 years ago on Google
Fun tour! Food was fabulous- no one in our group ate anything else the rest of the day. Anthony’s stories were interesting and gave us a vivid picture of life in the North End before gentrification. Highly recommend, weather permitting- it is mostly outdoors, so dress accordingly.

Interesting and fun food tour. Anthony kept us laughing the whole time. I’d recommend not having dinner plans that evening because there’s enough food on the tour that it would spoil dinner plans.

Anthony is a character but knows his stuff. He easily moved our large group through his home neighborhood to showcase some of his favorite restaurants & shops. Funny & informative, he helped us get a taste of what’s available in the North End’s Little Italy. We highly recommend Boston “Politically Incorrect” food tour.

I highly recommend this tour. Our family had such a great time. We learned so about the history of the North End and the places we visited were definitely off the beaten path. The food was outstanding and Anthony had us laughing the entire time. I’m glad we live close by so we can visit these treasures again. Thanks, Anthony!

Took Anthony’s tour this past weekend with 2 friends and we had a blast. The food was fantastic, all of the restaurants shops were super accommodating, and Anthony was a spectacular guide. He has a gift for story telling, and is a wealth of information about Boston and especially the north end. I fully plan on taking this tour again, it was worth every penny.

Was accommodating and even called me to make sure I found the right spot as I was desperately looking for parking. Maybe don’t drive to the North End but definitely take this tour if you have the chance.

Anthony's Politically Incorrect Tour was OFF THE CHARTS! His knowledge of the neighborhood was worth its weight in gold-- the people we met along the way were all top notch! Thank you for adding spice to a delicious tour of Boston's North End! Can't imagine booking with anyone else!

From the moment Anthony arrived on scene, we were entertained, educated and most importantly fed! He’s the real deal, sharing first hand accounts of life in the North End, then and now. Help support local businesses, take the tour and spread the word!

We had a great day with Anthony from politically incorrect food tours in the North End. He was informative and held our attention due to his extensive knowledge of Bostons North End food and past history. We had Many laughs along our route to many way hidden gems that only the tried and true locals know of. We all enjoyed each of the food stops - and certainly didn’t leave feeling hungry. I highly recommend Anthony to take you and any guests on a most enjoyable food journey in the North End. You won’t regret not choosing him to entertain and educate you on all of what the North End of Boston has to offer . Bring your sense of humor too !!
