now this is beautiful place to come and eat. I drive by here all the time and I had no idea what wonders this place held. the decor is gorgeous. so inviting and welcoming but yet also puts the exposed structures of the building to very good use. I just came in to grab a quick drink and decided to grab some food too. I got the spanakopita Flatbread and I am SO happy I did. it was phenomenal! I honestly tried to save some of it to take home but I just could not stop eating it. it was freshly made to order, dough and all, right in front of me in their open oven. I would drive here just to get this Flatbread for take out! but I will surly be back. I did only get to see thier mid day menu, which had plenty of sharable options, but i do want to see their dinner selections. they have very nice dining room and I did notice they also had a private room for parties. they also have out door dining available. highly recommend trying Trade out.

My spot to go after a long day. Love the ambience, music and staff. They are amazing!!! Jazz, Marianna, Lucy, Herika, Victor, Fabiana, Juan. I can go on for days naming them 🤣🤣🤣. All of them are great!! Even management is top notch!! Best place to have Mediterranean food in the area!!! I definitely recommend to anyone around. Thanks so much for a great time!

Such a underrated restaurant. I wish I knew this place earlier. I love the vibe of this restaurant. Food and drink was amazing and our server was very nice, even manager always go around check and see everything is ok. For two people, we ordered 4 dishes to shared, the portion was right enough. Every menu we ordered were great also food came out very quick. I will definitely coming back to try other menu as well.

My firm hosted a private business dinner for 14, and everyone was just blown away at the service, the atmosphere and the food. Our server Bree and the manager Amelia were exceptional. Two people in our party had dietary restrictions, and they provided several options to delight them. The picture is a vegan version of their charred eggplant. Yum! My only regret is that we can’t give them 10 stars! Highly recommend!

Got the tuna tartar, mushroom flatbread with a couple of amazing cocktails. My only grievance is that their menu is not very friendly for folks that don't eat dairy. Also, a bread basket (either to order or free) would've been nice, the bread in the flatbread was very tasty, it could hold its own in a basket.

After a 4-hour whale watching tour Fat Man Reviews needed a snack. So we walked down from the Boston Harbor and stopped into Trade for a drink and a fill up. Trade offers innovative Mediterranean plates & cocktails served in lively, modern, high-ceilinged setting. I decided to have an early afternoon cocktail and ordered a Waiting for the Sun. This was served with Hendrick's gin, apricot, honey, rose, and citrus. The gin and honey come through first in a sweet and floral flavor. The apricot is followed by the citrus, which I thought was lemon. This drink was pretty refreshing and had a good amount of alcohol in it. We ordered the Anatolian Flatbread. This was topped with spinach, leek, kasseri cheese and dill. The flatbread was quite soggy in the middle. The spinach and leak stood out and offered a nice sweet and onion type flavor. The cheese is flavorful, almost like a mozzarella but more buttery, and it was melted well. The dill adds a nice pop in both taste and fragrance. However, the dish was pretty oily and left a weird texture in my mouth. Trade has lunch and dinner menu offering breads, salads, sandwiches, starters and main dishes. They have a full bar and offer a large wine list. The server was nice enough, but the vibe from the staff was not as inviting as we had hoped. The Fat Man says that Trade is NOT Fat Man Approved.

Drinks, food, and service were all an 11/10. Ella specifically was an amazing bartender with so much knowledge on all of the Greek spirits. My dear friend and I loved it so much that we were inspired to write a limerick to Ella, and we toasted to her phenomenal ability to riff drinks based off of the general tastes we were feeling at the moment.

Take yourself to Santorini. Fantastic waitstaff at the bar! The lamb meatballs are fantastic. I also loved the zucchini cakes and octopus too. Get the apps and the Greek wine!

Nestled in the Financial District, Trade presents itself as an upscale Mediterranean venue, blending club-like energy with spaces tailored for private events. This weekend, I finally decided to visit Trade, a spot that's been on my radar for some time. The menu, predominantly contemporary Mediterranean, appeared slightly overpriced, yet the ambiance was undeniably vibrant and inviting. We kicked off our evening with a trio of starters. The standout was undoubtedly the braised oxtail pizette, boasting a flawless crust, a creamy bechamel sauce, and a robust kasseri cheese flavor. The shrimp and fennel dish, accompanied by a delightfully smoky pita, and the pomegranate glazed eggplant were pleasant, though they didn't quite live up to their lofty price tags. Our main course selections included the grilled lamb chops and the Pastitsio. The lamb chops, though on the pricier side, were perfectly cooked and oozing with flavor. The Pastitsio, however, didn't quite hit the mark. The oxtail ragu was flavorful, but the pasta and béchamel sauce seemed to muddle its richness. The béchamel was notably watery, leaving an odd aftertaste. While Trade offers a chic and energetic setting ideal for a drink-centered outing, its food offerings, though adequate, might not entirely justify the prices. This spot seems better suited for those looking for a lively evening with drinks rather than a destination for exceptional dining.

Monkfish has some insanely salty thing in it that ruined the whole plate for me. Otherwise food was good.

They have reopened! ( I understand from the staff that they reopened Tuesday!) We just wandered in for a glass of wine and an appetizer. Absolutely perfect. The restaurant was spotless and well ventilated. Service was friendly and prompt, but not rushed in any way. Wines were excellent and we had the Calamari. Calamari was spot on with a nice light flavor and an excellent sauce. Glad to see restaurants reopening and coming back! These folks were EXCELLENT!

Great spot along the Greenway. Good cocktails. Great pizza. While the vaulted ceiling and enormous windows make for a great space, it can get loud. Excellent Manhattan.

Food was exceptional and we went in right before closing, expecting that they would have closed the kitchen early. Every dish we tried was complex and an original take on such traditional dishes as a buratta, which I highly recommend, by the way. Drinks were great too. One of the best meals I had in Boston. Loved the chickpea fries! Good wine & beautiful ambiance & friendly service... Excellent if you have a break between trains and buses since South Station is a few blocks away. I am definitely going back!

The food and drink were really good. The chicken meatballs and chickpea fries were delicious. I REALLY liked chicken meatballs. Great flavor and texture. The cucumber mule was very tasty and refreshing. I sat at the bar and the service was not very attentive even though the place wasn't too busy. (not too busy = no wait, open tables, and open bar seats.) If the service that night was the same as the food, it would get 5 stars.

New place, wait staff & management was wonderful. Our appetizer was cold, main course was served in a cold cast iron pot so the mashed potatoes & veggies were cold, the lamb chops were warm. There is a lighting problem, they've been open 2 months why has this not been recertified?

Service is great. They brought us into the back private dining room because the music was really loud. Other than the music the experience was overall a great one. Came with the family who were visiting Boston for the first or second time and it was a memorable experience. Our waitress with Shay and she was really helpful and very kind and even helped us understand all the ingredients in our food. The ribeye steak was a feast and we all left feeling very satisfied and full. highly recommend. The maître d’ also stopped by several times to explain what kind of Greek spirits were available and we went with the Lesvos Ouzo. He explained how to mix it with the ice and the water and it was a phenomenal drink definitely an interesting anise-based flavor.

Went here for NYE and everything was phenomenal! The burrata was one of the bests i've ever had and the lamb chops were cooked absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was nice, but the tables could have been a little further apart.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday somewhere that wasn’t the cliche steakhouse etc, somewhere with more flavour but still a great ambiance… boy did Trade come through! The Restaraunt is absolutely stunning with its dim lights and beautiful aesthetics. My friends and I were well taken care of by our server & the food was delicious! I would highly recommend Trade for a date, birthday, or even just because!

I wanted to rate this place 5 stars because most of the food was incredible, but after our orders were placed we didn’t see our server much. We ordered the lemon curd with berries for dessert and when I took my first spoonful I found a massive hair in my spoonful of food. We waited 10 minutes for the server to come back over and he barely seemed apologetic and brought us a new one. We were hesitant to eat it because we assumed it was made by the same person who got hair in our first dessert, but there was no hair in the second one. The taste was great, but the experience ruined it. Although we weren’t really expecting a free dessert, to still be charged for something that had human hair in our food felt a little disrespectful and like the restaurant didn’t care they were serving desserts with hair in them. UPDATE: They called me and apologized and refunded me $7 for the dessert. They also said to call them back for a gift card so I called back and left a message but I haven't heard back. I called last Saturday, 10/14 and today it is 10/20.

We have been to trade a couple of times. The ambiance is amazing (it’s totally redone from the Google photo), the wine list is impeccable and the food is always top notch and great for sharing. I would say because of the sharing aspect it’s also great value - for the same price you get full faster than some other places. It’s equally perfect for date night or work dinner party, they also have a private room. Will be back for sure

We really liked the vibe of the restaurant. The music and the decor felt tasteful and the menu was easy to navigate. We ordered four apps and split a main. The cauliflower was okay. Didn’t get much brown butter from it. The feta cheese plate and the pasta main was amazing. The mocktails were surprisingly complex and enjoyable.

Expensive but quality to match. Their flatbreads are really kind of a trip. No "regular" pizza options to be seen but some very interesting and classy flavors. Awesome for a classy business lunch in the financial district.

If you’re looking for some fun drinks (albeit on the pricier end) and a delicious Mediterranean menu, Trade is for you. Outdoor dining was a great option for us, only recommendation is to request a table near a heat lamp. The server was great! The only reason this is a 4 and not a 5 star is because two of our dishes came out cold/lukewarm. The whole Branzino was delicious. The vegetables were seasoned well. I would definitely order that again! My fellow diners also enjoyed the chicken entree and the meatballs.

Ms. Bailey loves the Trade restaurant. The enormous outdoor patio has comfortable furniture that allows you to sip, eat, and enjoy fellowship. The haddock dish is fabulous, and we have never had a disappointment with any dish. Try a Greek sunset beverage, my favorite. The staff makes Bailey feel welcome and is always very pleasant.

Good. James beard? Maybe over 2 decades ago. Dumplings filling was pin point. Dough? Over worked and doughy. Chickpea fries? Great, except zero seasoning. A touch of salt does go a long way. Spanakopita? I guess that's where the salt ended up. Pork belly and Scallion pancakes and napa kimchee was a nice twist. All in all good. When I was reminded that Jody Adams was the chef, I expected a touch more. Would recommend to anyone again. When you get that James Beard nod or award, you get a little more of a microscope. Even if it was over 2 decades ago....Adapt and grow. It was good regardless.

Food is great but the pretentious service let’s this place down. I’ve eaten here so many times and all of a sudden they don’t seat you until ALL guests have arrived. Not convenient for us because one of our guests were late and one was early! Instead you are expected to wait by a drafty door while it’s -10 Celsius outside. The excuse being that it’s fully booked (the place was half empty) and they may need to reshuffle people around. Just poor and pretentious service!

Stopped for breakfast at the Trade Restaurant at Logan Airport. Spend $38 for one cup of coffee and two of their breakfasts. That was before tip. Breakfast consists of 2 scrambled eggs, burnt black bacon, small portion of deep fried potatoes, and cold wheat toast. They bring your meal, and then ask if you want butter....making your wait even longer to start eating your meal. At $15 for such a meager meal, you would hope they could deliver a good hot abundant breakfast. FAIL. I asked for new toast and sausage to replace the black bacon. The sausage was dried out. I have a feeling both the bacon and sausage were left over from the previous day. We were at the restaurant at 7am. The wait staff is friendly and efficient but the food is terrible. While here, I heard another customer complain about their breakfast. How hard is it to make a simple breakfast? Such a shame. I suppose word has already spread because we only ever saw 6 other people there the 60 minutes were there. Management take notice.

I remember when Trade first opened. I worked at the Financial District at the time, and people always welcome a new place as good bars/restaurants that are close to the area are few and far between. When planning team events, we always end up at the same places as it is important not to stray too far from the office if you want people to come (you know, they want to spend time with their families and stuff ;-). Trade instantly became the place to go, so it could get very crowded and loud. The drinks area bit pricey, but no more than any other place in the area. The menu can tend to be a little all over the place, so somethings are a hit and some are a miss. I usually went with coworkers or a group of friends, so my recommendation is to order several flatbreads for the group to share. They are unique and always tasty. I also love their arugula salad - its a simple salad (arugula, parsley, mint, lemon and Parmesan), but is perfect as a starter for the meal.

Came here excited for the supposedly high-quality food and service, but unfortunately they did not deliver and I ended up very sick. Explained in detail that I had a dairy allergy; I had to go ingredient by ingredient (untypical at a restaurant demanding such high prices) and they still gave me food with dairy (I noticed halfway through). Ended up sick for the entire afternoon. If you have any food allergy or other dietary restriction, I would warn you to avoid at all costs. Good food but not worth getting sick for.
