Right after the first wave of the pandemic ended and the city of Boston re opened its doors to it's nightlife I stumbled upon this incredible hidden little gem in the North End of the city. Stanza dei Sigari not only opens a door to a speakeasy vibe lost in the roaring 20s but offers a great selection of sprits, exemplary melodies from the era, and cigars that fill the atmosphere with a flavorful spiced essence. This place is a definite must when in the area and are looking to relax and sit back. Thank me later!

This is the only pure cigar bar/lounge in Boston and it delivers every time. If you’re looking for a classic cigar lounge where you kickback, talk with friends or completely strangers, and enjoy a quality cigar paired with sum’n strong in your glass, this is the place for you. Service might be a little slow, depending on how many packed it is, but that’s just more time to enjoy your cigar. I highly recommend. 10/10.

Classic Cigar Lounge. Had a Manhattan and Arturo Fuente Flores. There are two sides to the lounge, only the right side was open when I went. The lounge was dimly lit, be sure to set your camera to night mode! This location also had plenty of tvs to watch sports, news, etc!

Stanza Dei Sigari is my favorite lounge in Boston to have a cigar. The lounge is located right in the heart of the Little Italy section of Boston, making it a fantastic spot to have a smoke before or after you have had dinner in the area. I've visited here at least a dozen times over the years and have always had a great experience. They have a fantastic selection of cigars as well. Highly recommend Stanza Dei Sigari!

First time in Boston and what an experience here. An espresso in the little Italian cafe upstairs to start; then a quaint walk downstairs to the Stanza Cigar Bar. Beautiful ambience with a great quality of cigars. An old fashioned made perfectly and the service was impeccable. Definitely recommend visiting this little Italy cigar bar that makes you feel right at home.

My favourite cigar bar in Boston - love the vibe, the set up and the cigar collection. The place can be a bit hard to find, it's in the basement, but once you get there you will enjoy the vibe. They have a good cigar menu, for all price ranges & the staff is quite helpful in making a selection if you are an amateur.

Subterranean cigar bar, that is dark and chic and the real deal. Deal. They have a great selection of cigars, significant Dominican, Honduran and Nicaraguan offerings. The great place to disappear, smoke a cigar and watch a ball game.

Nice low dimmed cigar parlor in the north end of Boston. Gets packed, so arrive early. Parking, as you may know in the nilorth end, is tight. The table staff was a bit hard to get her attention, but overall, nice time.

Spent a great couple of hours in this fantastic cigar lounge. Although I had to hang out a while at the humidor waiting for someone to serve, once they arrived, I got a great cigar and was ushered to a table where the drinks and service was awesome even though they were really busy. This is one of the best lounges I have been to and I can't wait to visit Boston again and pay another visit.

This is a classic, full service cigar bar. Not many (if any) like it in Boston with the way the laws work here. You come in, order your cigar and drink, and you have your smoke and libation delivered to your table, the cigar cut straight or v as you choose with a box of nice matches. The service is always outstanding, and the ambiance makes it a great place to kick back and relax.

Was visiting from Canada. Decided to surprise my husband with this place just for a quick drink and cigar. He really liked it and the place had a very cool vibe to it. I don't smoke so it wasn't somewhere I wanted to stay long as the smoke can be alot. Luckily there was only another two occupied tables while we were there so it wasn't awful smoke wise. But regardless it's to be expected.

Would give TEN STARS if I could. Great spot to enjoy cigars and cocktails!!

Was visiting Boston for the weekend and found this gem. Great selection of sticks, and the bar has some great scotch and bourbon to choose from. Outstanding vibe inside, all sorts of old adds and pictures of famous Boston greats. Nice place to hang out before or after dinner.

Coming from New York I love exploring the special spots in Boston. This downstairs smoke house is definitely one of those spots. The atmosphere of dark wood and smoke gives Stanza an old world charm. Nothing beats a relaxing cigar and an after dinner drink than this place. This is now a must stop for me while visiting Boston.

Loved the ambiance and choices of cigars offered here. Drinks and cigars are not at all overpriced, and they also have an amazing staff! It has became our monthly meetup spot now.

Dark and speakeasy-like. The three waitstaff I saw around were very gracious and helpful despite how busy they were. The music was a little loud for my taste, but if you don't mind raising your voice a little bit, you can still have a conversation. The cocktail I had, the Reserve, was easily the best cocktail I've ever had. Great experience!

I had a great time with coworkers during a trip to Boston. The humidor is a little lacking, but the atmosphere is top notch.

Excellent atmosphere. Nice underground speakeasy. Great vibes. Ambient. Real fun time with a group. Damn good cigar menu with friendly and informative/helper servers. Pretty solid liquor list. Great place to spend hours with friends and fellow cigar lovers.

A real gem. If you like cigars this is a fantastic place to hang out with friends to enjoy drinks and cigars. They have an excellent selection of cigars as well as great selection of spirits.

Bri is AWESOME! Had some time before a flight and wanted to get some work and a cigar and spirit in! Wonderful hospitality and met some locals and we knew some of the same people!! I will be back for sure!

First time here, no where was it posted was there a $10.00 cutting fee for cigars bought in house. I understand if you bring your own. Not really feeling this place

Awesome time. Great people. Not a big fan of smoking but we have all snuck one from time to time it's just nice being able to chill and enjoy a drink while doing it. 10/10 experience would 100% recommend.

Our server was excellent, the drinks, and cigars were great. There were two cigar bars in Boston. This one which is extremely dark, pretty crowded, seemingly has minimal ventilation, and is still open. The one that was forced to close was much brighter, less crowded, and the ventilation kept the air amazingly clear...go figure. I can well imagine that Stanza Dei Sigari is grandfathered in and should they pull one permit to update they will cease to be a cigar bar. You can pay to get skin cancer in a tanning salon...

Cool place. Dark and a little loud but everyone is having a good time and they have decent smokes that were well kept upon delivery to the table.

Get the espresso martini, hands down one of the best in Boston oh and they have a superb cigar selection as well.

Older [July 2021]This place was very unique! We actually went to Boston to go to the speakeasy part of the cigar bar, but due to staffing and such is was closed. That didn't stop us though from enjoying this place! The server we had was very nice and very patient, especially since none of us smoked cigars, her recommendations were spot on! Not only was the service great, the whiskey selection was phenomenal! Never thought I'd enjoy sipping on a scotch and puffing on a cigar, but this place made is happen. Also they have a great air filtration system, so it wasn't overly smokey in there which was an added bonus! 10/10 will be going back soon! Update [may 2022]: went back last Sunday and we actually got the same server. Sadly the speakeasy didnt seem open yet but we really came for a cigar and some drinks. Tried a cigar that tasted like sweet coffee, was phenomenal. Love this spot, will always go to when I'm in the North End!

This place have some pretty good cocktails as well as a huge selection of hard liquor. I loved the Old Fashioned with Basil Dark Rye. They also have some cigars with fair prices. But if you bring your own, there is a $15 cutting fee. The seating is first come first serve even though there's a hostess keeping track of the seating. And the staff seems short but they try to provide the best service they can. And the ambience is a dark speakeasy like place but it is definitely loud from all the people talking! Overall, it's a great cigar bar and I recommend it.
