It’s a stunning spot for a 1.5-mile walk or jog! Just like Olmstead Park, it has the feel of a hidden gem, tucked far enough away from the wild traffic that surrounds you. It could be a serene and scenic oasis if not for the wildly inconsiderate, selfish, careless people who refuse to wear a mask or give you an inch of space. It’s the common theme here as it is for any wonderful park or body of water in this region: stunning views and wonderful wildlife threatened by the insanely unsafe behavior of dirty, careless residents.

Great and lovely place. Nice to walk along or dog walk around the pond(about a mile or more). Fishing & row boating are also enjoyable. Boat rental office located on east side of the pond. Parking issue is the only cons. Even roadside parking lot is located along Perkins st.(west side of pond), it is not so easy to park once, especially in weekend.

This is a really nice place to take a walk and catch the sunset. Peaceful, tranquil and gives you a sense of calmness.

Absolutely beautiful area. Perfect for bike riding and walking. Plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

Great place for a stroll/run. Takes about 35-40 to walk around the pond. There were plenty of people around (but not to the extent of being crowded) so the place felt quite safe. Gorgeous sunset!

Very quiet and nice for a healthy walk

It's peaceful and safe, and people jog and walk around the pond during the night and early morning, I know bc I sleep in my car here (sometimes) and never have problems.

A quiet and beautiful lake in Jamaica Plain area with trails for people who like running or just want a walk. The trails were paved, about 1.5 miles, covered with national trees. So, it would be good for all seasons and all people. There were parking lots surrounding the lake. Even in a cold weekday morning, the parking lots were still pretty full. It is a gem in this crowded and busy area for a break.

Amazing spot for a walk/run

I live more than 5 miles away, still I drive here on weekends to run and enjoy the view. Love Jamaica Pond.

Lovely place. You can jog, walk or bike. It's grate for pictures or even meditating. There is parking around the pond and restrooms too. Very nice

Such a nice place to just walk and relax. The entire park can be walked within 1.5 hours of gentle walking. Park on Perkins Street.
