Though expensive, this tour is one of the most amazing and unique experiences one could possibly have in the Greater Boston region. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and the staff in general are very flexible to allow changes in seating as needed. The bus converts into a boat to provide wonderful views of the Charles River and the tour guides go into a great, in-depth history of the city. Overall, it is hard to find an experience that covers the city of Boston in as much detail, while providing such a wonderful and unique experience for adults and children alike. 100% would recommend.

Our narrator was so much fun. He talked and explained everything so well. He had jokes for days. We really enjoyed him. We'd already taken several tours of the city and heard some of the same history, but he made it so much more entertaining. Definitely recommend

A great way to see the city, by land and by sea! Captain Weird Beard was our guide and he did a spectacular job. The kids were able to "drive the boat" for a few minutes each while we were in the water, which they enjoyed. Great way to get oriented to the city.

Flo was a fantastic tour guide! While visiting friends they suggested a Duck Tour. It was chilly, sunny, and the perfect day. Very informative and highly recommend to anyone visiting from out of town or even locals. Great to see active and retired military signatures on the canvas of the boats as well!

It all depends on who is doing the tour. For adults, it's a great tour with lots of interesting information and nice views of the city. For kids it would be too long and boring. The tour guide was great, but not for our kids (ages 6-12). It would have been perfect if they had 2 different tours: one for families with children and one for adults. The storyteller has to be appealing to the audience!

Nice bus tour that takes you around places of historical significance in Boston. It's partly on land and partly on water and is a great way to explore few parts of the city. The tour narrators are very informed and make great quips throughout the trip which definitely enhances the overall experience. Would definitely recommend!

Funny guided tour with almost educated Arron, "A drive around round pointing at buldings" as he said. When the car was on water they gave everyone that wanted a chance at the wheel :) A good think to do in Boston

I'm so glad I got to experience this amazing ride on Boston Duck Tours! Our guide and the driver were great! We went to places I've never been before even living here for 19 years

Fun tour through the city and on the water. Novel experience and interesting way to learn about some of the history of the area while seeing the sites. Guide was entertaining. Seats were two per side, narrow, and not comfortable if youโ€™re taller. Easy to catch from boat at the Pru and hit the observation decks there with a combo ticket.

We had the most amazing time on our Boston Duck Tour. Our tour guide and driver were amazing! Loved learning the history and facts of Boston City as youโ€™re driven around and then to later become a boat and be able to go on the water. It really was a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend as something to do when you come to Boston.

It's a fun experience to enjoy the City of Boston on the bus, which turns into a boat in the water. Live guide gives you more information about different areas & landmarks. It was fun.

I really enjoyed our duckboat tour. I've lived in southeast Massachusetts all my life, but I didn't know most of the info we learned on the tour. It was very interesting, and our tour narrator Ernie was funny as well. My 10 year old got to steer the boat in the water, and it was overall a pretty cool experience.

I bought the ticket online, which was very convenient. I had to fight for my seat because the attendant wanted to reseat me to make room for a couple who came later. Overall the tour was great. A very fun experience. Our guide Bob was very funny. Our driver was excellent. The real pearl of the tour is the combination of a bus trip with a water trip. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get more impressions of Boston.

A great way to get a feel for Boston and see most of the city's old monuments. You can buy tickets here and the route starts here too. We were able to find a spot but during the busy season you might need to book in advance. The driver and the commentary was really good. The adult prices are around $50.

I loved the tour! It was a great way to see Boston & learn interesting history of Boston. I boarded the duck at the Prudential building. Our captain was โ€œBig Mikeโ€ & our tour guide was โ€œSplishโ€. Captain Big Mike drove very smoothly. Splish must have a degree in history because he did a great job teaching us so much about Bostonโ€™s history & geography. His shtick was being a robot, which made his presentation more interesting for children. Iโ€™d definitely take this duck tour again!

We were on them over the summer and I have mixed feelings. First, if you have never taken a tour of Boston they you will probably like them. However, once you know the city, this tour seems a little 'tired'. There can be a lot of people on the buses and you don't really get personal interaction from the guides. It is OK and you see a lot, just it needs to be 'freshened' up a bit.

We had a fantastic duck tour! Teo kids and all the adults really enjoyed it. We liked how seriously they take safety protocols. So much fun! We left from the aquarium which was super convenient.

One of the greatest tours I ever was on, starting off with our driver singing, and all the quirky comments, and the chat at the end, Great knowledge of Boston. Was a great way of seeing Boston

We visited Boston with some extended family and decided to take this tour because it was great for everyone in the group... kids to adults. Our tour guide was entertaining and so knowledgable about all of the landmarks we passed. When there was a problem with our ticketing, the company went above and beyond to make it right. We highly recommend taking this tour!
