This
dog
park
is
conveniently
located
in
the
South
End
corridor
and
close
to
many
of
the
nearby
apartments,
but
can
be
hit-or-miss
depending
on
the
dogs
and
owners
present.
The
material
is
similar
to
a
tennis
court,
but
is
cracking
in
places,
and
drainage
can
be
easily
clogged
with
the
two
storm
drains,
particularly
during
the
icy
winters.
In
the
fall
and
winter,
it
can
occasionally
take
a
few
days
for
the
park
to
be
shovelled
of
snow
or
raked
of
leaves,
but
with
a
tight
budget
of
donations
only
we
are
happy
to
wait.
Would
love
if
the
trustees
made
more
options
for
donating
or
publicised
them
more
widely.
As
with
any
dog
park
there
are
occasionally
people
who
will
bring
their
pets
in
and
not
clean
up
after
them,
despite
free
dog
bags
being
provided.
There
are
also
a
couple
of
kiddie
pools
available
as
well
as
a
hose,
so
if
you
would
like
to
let
your
pup
cool
off
in
the
summer
they
are
a
great
option,
but
I'd
suggest
refreshing
the
water
frequently,
as
a
few
dogs
here
would
tend
to
pick
up
some
stomach
bugs
every
summer
once
the
pools
are
out.
We
enjoyed
taking
our
dog
here
and
socializing
with
other
owners,
and
our
pup
definitely
had
some
close
friends
among
the
dogs
who
went
there,
but
in
the
last
year
or
so
we've
noticed
a
lot
more
irresponsible
owners
here
who
do
not
pay
any
attention
to
their
dogs
because
they
are
too
focused
on
their
cell
phones.
Sadly
this
resulted
in
our
dog
being
attacked
while
I
was
unable
to
handle
both
dogs,
only
my
own.
Please
be
careful
and
pay
attention
to
your
dog
and
how
it
is
interacting
with
others,
especially
if
another
owner
is
asking
for
your
help!
Overall,
it's
a
great
piece
of
the
neighbourhood
and
was
very
convenient
for
our
pup,
but
please
keep
your
eye
on
your
dog
if
you
bring
him!
