Peters Park Dog Park

Dog park

👍 Great enclosed space full of friendly dogs and owners. Also includes fresh water station and rocks for dogs to climb on. My only grievance is the lack of grass as the gravel can be rough on my dog's pads. People often mention dogs, park, Great, great, play,

Great neighborhood dog park with separate small and large dog areas. Friendly people and well maintained, this is a great place to bring your dog for socialization and exercise!

Great little pebbled dog park for when it rains and you don't want your Pup to get dirty. Also- just stopped by Friday at 8 pm and it was kinda hoppin'. Who knew.

Nice location, well maintained and very dog friendly. Kuddos to the Friends of Peter's Park for a great dog 🐕 park.

The park was active. Kick ball, young kids soccer, dog owners using the dog park, and Mayor Wu meeting and greeting folks throughout the park. Nice to see all of the park in full swing.

Always plenty of dogs to play with and the pebbles rather than dirt keeps things clean.

Alway clean and everyone is friendly, unfortunately my dog hates the pebble surface and won’t play.

Solid little dog park to come on through with my pup. I don’t love that it’s all rocks instead of any sort of grass - I’d love if it was turf instead. Just happy to have had the space for my pup to run and play

My dog loves playing with some of the other dogs here, so he may not agree with my low rating. The first problem with this park is the lack of proper upkeep. The rocks haven't been changed in many many years, along with the hooks used to hang collars and leashes. The amount of pee and debris that I have to clean off my dog, even after a short visit is pretty nasty. He's had skin issues multiple times after rolling around here. My second issue is that many of the snowflakes, feminists, and Karens that frequent are unfriendly , do not follow the rules, and often bring their infants and toddlers with them. These new age toony transplants just don't have the same level of consideration and respect that traditional Bostonians do. It's a crying shame, really. These visitors just don't seem to have the ability to read the room what so ever. Their innate sense of entitlement are many times on a level that is dumbfounding and astounding. To make matters worse, they all seem to have the same hairstylist, wear matching winter jackets and duck boots, and their dogs are the same breed, color, and size. How am I suppose to report them if they all look like they were identically made in a toony factory somewhere?

Great dog park but the area is gravel and not grass. Lots of room for dogs to run and play and rocks to climb. Good seating areas for the people too and a water station in the Summer. It's fully gated and secure for dogs to run and play and there's a nice neighborhood atmosphere with lots of locals.

The only reason it's not five stars is it's own popularity! I'm not a fan of crowded dog parks.. BUT i like how they're very strict on dog aggression, with big signs and all.

It was nice, good for a dog walk. There were also things to do apart from playing with dogs or walking them.

A nice park, but the rocks can be hard on a pup's feet. Often very crowded with dog walkers bringing multiple dogs and not really keeping an eye on them.

The park is split for large and small dogs. Great place for our little dog to run around a bit without worrying about cars. The double gate entrance is also great.
