I normally stray away from doing tours, as it makes me feel too much like a tourist. But it was beautiful day out, and the duck truck was sitting right there ready to start the next tour— so I decided to give it a try. And I’m glad I did. It was a nice way to spend part of my day away. It was super casual, and offers really great views of the city from land and water. It’s also some interesting history along the way too. My tour guide was quirky, but did a good job of mixing humor and historical facts together. At one point, while in the water, she even invites people to assist driving the boat. It’s pretty cool, and kids love it. I even did it myself and got some cool photos in the driver seat. As embarrassing as it can be, there is quite a bit of quacking during the tour. But it’s fun to do, and helps get everyone engaged and loosened up. Definitely try this, if looking for something quick and harmlessly fun to do in the Boston area.

What a fantastic experience! This tour is worth every penny spent, I couldn’t have explored Boston this much on my own, very informative and an entertaining tour. We booked this tour for a perfect sunny Sunday as we are visiting Boston from California and boarded the tour from New England aquarium. The tour takes you around Boston and you get to know about historic places of Boston from the tour guide, we got so much to know from this tour and that made our visit to Boston even more worth, the vehicle also enters into water of Charles river (very cool) and goes through the river to show you skyline and other places. It takes about 80 mins for the entire tour to complete. If you are visiting Boston, please don’t miss out on this one, it’s expensive for sure but worth it so so much, a must attraction to add to your bucket list for things to do in Boston!

The Boston Duck Boat tour we took was Aweosme! Our captain ( Steve) and our Tour Guide ( Super Sized) we’re great. SS was so knowledgeable, and absolutely hilarious and entertaining. He’s an 11/10 in terms of entertainment and quick wit. Made the trip so much more fun than we were anticipating. We’d walked the Freedom Trail earlier in the day yest, and seen many of the places on the trip already, BUT his narration was fantastic! We walked away having learned more than on our audio tour. I recommend this pair to everyone. Also, I have two boys. The eldest was obsessed from the minute he saw the Duck boats and talked about them all day. While on the boat they were both allowed to ‘captain’ it and it made his entire experience! The best money we spent in Boston.

Nice trip. Just a little hot today. Maybe better in spring or fall. Lot of history about Boston and nice splash in the Charles river. I bought the tickets on internet, but not necessary.

I'm not one for writing bad reviews. Sorry DUCK Tours but sadly the one star is solely due to the conDUCKtor we got stuck with. Now we know everyone has a bad day, but when you are a tour guide for 60-90 minutes at a time where tourist pay decent money to attend, ya gotta make the best of it and leave your bad day aside (if that's what it was). Maybe you just hate your job so much that everyone gets a bad tour with you. I don't know. Almost Educated Aaron was rude, talked way to fast and couldn't even take in everything he was saying, was not funny though trying to be (drop the Adam Sandler wannabe because it doesn't work for you). It was like he was just wanting the tour to be over and rushed through everything. Maybe he should have stayed home with his long time girlfriend where he's happy or maybe go work back in the jail. Maybe that's more your vibe but you are clearly unhappy doing the DUCK tours. We've heard so much about these DUCK tours and how fun and informative they are and couldn't wait to come to Boston and see what it was all about. Well, highly disappointed in an understatement. Get off the DUCK if Almost Educated Aaron is your conDUCKtor. On a positive note...the drive was great, the views were great and the other people on the boat were great. I still want a refund though!

Amazing tour!! Staff are awesome. Good driver. We had Harvey Heartbreak!! That tour was professional and the staff made the trip. Gotta say your organization should buy TopView tours in NewYork!! They could learn a thing or two from your organization. Thanks for being amazing!!

Had a wonderful time on the tour of Boston and wish it was the first thing we did since it showed us so much more than we expected. The guide was really funny and made the whole experience less scripted and more enjoyable overall. Once on the water they even get you to drive the boat for fun photos. Overall I think it was pretty great for a first time in Boston and certainly worth the time and price.

We had a blast on this tour. We started off from the Pru and drove through the City to the water with the tour guide providing historical information on the drive and once we entered the Charles River. Our tour guide was awesome and overall this was a lot of fun.

Had a great time, your seat is reserved when you buy your ticket, so you don’t have to come early to be first in line. They were on time, and the tour was fun and educational. Great way to visit the city on land and on water on the same tour! Wish more cities had duck boats!

We went on our first tour guided by The Great Garibaldi! It was the best! He was hilarious, informative, fun and kept the crowd engaged the entire tour. We would absolutely do this tour again.

Must do tour with kids. Just as informative as the freedom trail tour and you get to see more of the city. There was less time on the water than I expected, but it turned out to be a good thing with a long er drive through time with a guide. Bonus, they led the kids take a turn driving !

What a great way to see the city. Your guide was great and very informative. We had my two sons and their friends on board this fun ride. All kids had a chance to steer while we were in the charles.

Funny and entertaining tour guide but wished his jokes would be universal and inclusive.. mostly American based jokes which we as Asians not so familiar.. luv that we can try to drive the "duck"... the pointing out of buildings and history can be a bit confusing with so many interjections and anecdotes.. for someone who is interested in its rich history a bit turned down... otherwise a great experience for a tourist...

What a brilliant tour. Our family has been on this tour several times and private pepper was brilliant. He was full of facts and made the tour a brilliant experience. Quack quack. We were in the pink duck.

Book a Duck Boat tour. It is an incredible tour through the city and will definitely be worth the time and cost. If you're visiting or just love history, you'll be glad you did this.

The Duck Tour was a great, inexpensive way to see the city. Hits a lot of the historical sites and the guides are always hilarious! This is a great option for families!

Shannen the host, Mike the driver, and "Doc" from Medford(tour guide) were all great. My nephews enjoyed getting on the wheel. Don't forget to tip!

We had a great time touring the city with this duck tour! Very informative and we got to see some parts of Boston which we didn't get to explore yet. And not to forget going into Charles River looking at the skyline and the beautiful sunset. 5 stars for this unforgettable experience!

We had a most excellent time. This was the first day they could fill the ducks since Coof restrictions began, and the passengers were into it. . Our tour guide Papriqqa was hilarious as she explained the many sights along our route. She kept a lively but not oppressive banter up there entire time, adding to our enjoyment. . The tour is 80% driving and 20% floating, which was fine. The floating part was certainly fun, but so was the driving. . What wasn't fun was the constant rain and cold wind. The shades helped, but also blocked the views. . This was a great way to see the sights without getting drenched in a rainy day. Fun edutainment. :)
