I am so lucky to go to the Dermatology Institute of Boston for all of my dermatological needs. Each visit is a great experience. From the moment I walk through the door, I am greeted by the friendliest front desk staff. The medical assistants are also great-very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Graber is such a wonderful dermatologist-extremely patient and always thoroughly addresses of all of my derm concerns. I highly recommend this practice.

This practice charges for PREVENTIVE skin care. I received an annual skin screening of my moles, which took less than 10 minutes. They refused to code it as an annual skin check (which my insurance covers) and continue to send me a $100+ bill for a standard office visit. They claim they don't "do" preventative care and can't code it as such. This absolutely should have been made clear up front. That's a rate of $10 per minute for services that could prevent cancer. I will never come back to this avaricious practice with greedy accounting practices and strongly recommend you don't either, especially if you just want a skin screening.

The doctors are amazing. Especially doctor meyers. But the receptionist are so RUDE! It makes it such an unpleasant experience to deal with appointments. I wish they could change that. Update: They responded very positively to my criticism and again love the doctors and other healthcare professionals at this practice. would highly recommend them.

I’m a woman of a certain age who found myself in need of an overdue ahem, “tuneup”. I polled some friends and they recommended Dr. Graber at the Dermatology institute of Boston. My first impression of the office was solid: great masking protocol (duh), a very professional yet also pleasant and relaxed office atmosphere. I could tell that the front desk personnel were pretty busy but they were still really nice, friendly, and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I appreciated that because I was a bit nervous 😬 I found Dr. Graber to very relatable and easy to talk to. I had a couple of treatments and I’m really happy with the results. Their office so close to the Back Bay T stop and getting there was a breeze. I definitely recommend the Dermatology Institute of Boston. It is wicked good! 5/5!

The staff is always so kind, the office always clean and Dr. Graber is very thorough and reassuring. I moved to NYC and still find a way to make it back to Boston because I refuse to switch. Very good practice.

As a black male, who works in finance I felt out of place, and that feeling was shown thrown out this process. Not only was I barley examined but I was told that the only option was a biopsy. Don’t go here if your black, trust me. Edit after they responded— rarely do I ever do this. But addressing some major issues 1) i have not used my real last name, but was a patient there 2) the way I felt through out my entire time at your office was like I did not belong. From the front desk to the doctor barely asking me any questions at all and going straight to biopsy. I later went to my primary doctor who prescribed me something for my skin issue 3) I write this not to argue with you guys but to tell you that as a black male who was referred to you guys by a coworker I felt throughout my time - uncomfortable. I felt unheard and “avoided” and ended leaving shortly after I felt things were really off. I know you guys are close to Bolyston street so you barley deal with “ us” but a lot of black people work and LIVE by your offices and it’s 2022. If I felt obligated to write this you know something is off

I went to them for convenience and due to the qualifications of Dr. Emmy Graber. However, I received the worst healthcare experience of my life. While the lead dermatologist is highly qualified, I had my overseeing provider changed by the practice 3 times, wasn't worked with in a reasonable way to triage urgent needs, and at the end of the day was told my only option was to go on an medicine that wasn't approved for more than a year of use. There was no effort to get a meaningful longterm care and management plan in place, which I pushed for and other dermatologists prioritized when I sought additional opinions. Lastly, without warning or explanation, Dr. Graber notified me through a letter that my care with the practice was terminated. One other thing to be aware of is that this office is understaffed and works limited hours. This makes it difficult to get the care needed in a timely fashion. Choosing to treat my condition with The Dermatology Institute of Boston added much frustration and negatively impacted my outcome. Convenient location, but when you need a provider you trust, look elsewhere!

Dr. Graber and her staff are incredible people who show compassion and clearly care about their patients. I am amazed with the quality of service I received, both in person, and over the phone when I called in with concerns about my health.

My visit with Dr Graber was amazing . She was so caring, attentive, and immediately knew what was going on and how to correct my dermatitis that I have been dealing with for months . She gave me so much hope . I drove from New York to see her and it was SO worth the drive . Highly recommend !

I’m so so happy with my results after coming here. I started seeing Dr Graber about a year ago, I had developed some really awful hormonal acne on my cheeks after turning 22. She put me on oral spironolactone, as well as topical winlevi cream and tretinoin cream. After going through months of getting new zits on my face every day, all of a sudden I stopped breaking out and my skin actually had a chance to heal. Now that I’m no longer breaking out, Dr Graber has been addressing my acne scars with laser treatments specifically for the type of scarring I have. After only 2 treatments I’ve seen such a difference, and everyone around me has been commenting on how much better it looks. And I’m only about halfway through the laser treatments, I can’t wait to see what it looks like in the end. It feels so nice to be able to go out in public again without constantly thinking about my face. I can’t say thank you enough to Dr Graber and everyone at the dermatology institute of Boston, you guys have made all the difference!

10/10 experience here. I am naturally very trepidatious of doctor’s offices, but my entire visit here was very smooth. Everyone was very kind and helpful, from the front desk to the doctor herself. My provider explained everything to me in a way I could understand, and was very nice and encouraging. I was in and out within 30 minutes and my skin is already feeling better since starting my prescription. Only dermatologist I will visit from now on!

First of all, the office is clean and great about covid precautions. Secondly, when I called to make an appointment, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get in as I work 9-5 (which we all know really means 8-6...). They had an opening for 7am (!!!!!) on a Wednesday and I was able to see the nurse practitioner Cindy Sershen. She was super knowledgeable, incredibly thorough, and has been able to manage my care better than my previous MD in New York. Finally, you really get the sense that everyone on staff cares about you getting the best care you can get that day. I don't know how they do it, but I'm sure glad they do.

Sarah was absolutely incredible. Instantly felt comfortable and well cared for. Super upbeat. All staff was absolutely phenomenal and kind. They even fit in a steriod injection that was above and beyond

Every experience I've had at The Dermatology Institute of Boston, with both Dr. Meyer and Cindy Sershen, has exceeded my expectations. The nurses and administrative staff are wonderful too. The very clean and beautiful office is in a convenient location, and runs smoothly - I've almost never had to wait.

I wish I could give them less than 1 star! I had an appointment with them as I got some unusual rashes on my face and eyelids! Their prescription made it even worse ao I stopped using that and scheduled another visit. They simply gave me a sample ointment and put me on schedule for allergy patch test without doing any bloodwork. I started reading about the test and the more I learned about it, the more confident I got that I don’t need the test at the moment and bloodwork is the priority. However, I wanted to follow the full procedure, my insurance claimed that the test is not covered; whenever I called their office they said it is Okay, we don't bill you, we bill insurance! I circled back with insurance again and again! I am not stupid, you bill insurance and they bill me!! There was 10 test each for $650 and they encourage me to do it! I was not mentally prepared to continue and I was afraid what if I have lupus and I haven’t done a blood test yet. Long story short, they sent my bill to a collection agency for only $200!! This is ridiculous! Worst service ever! Now that I am dealing with an immune system, I should follow up with collection agency for that $200 that may negatively affect my credit history just for such a poor service I received!

I had a dermatologist in Atlanta and when I moved here I was hesitant to trust any clinic with my skin. Right off the bat, this clinic has proven to be the best. No insanely long waitlists or multiple phone transfers to talk to someone in the clinic. There is always someone available and if you leave a message, they’ll always get back to you. Dr. Al-Haseni has been amazing to work with. He is super kind, takes the time to ask questions and has helped me a ton with achieving my skin goals. He has the best bedside manner. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. It’s right in the city and the interior is beautiful and well maintained. It feels like a place that is well cared for and all of the employees including intake personnel and nurses are super kind and eager to make your time there as pleasant as possible. The only thing I wish they did was validate parking.

DIB staff were awesome! Very helpful, supportive and informative, they clearly care very much about the well-being of patients. I particularly appreciate being seen so rapidly. However, the security guard in your building was memorable in an opposite way – sullen, snide and apparently resentful of doing his job. His chip-on-the-shoulder attitude reminded me of encounters with public employees in the old Soviet Union, where the goal was to be as rude and unhelpful toward customers as possible.

The best Dermatology practice in MA. I have been seen by all 3 of the doctors who each provide patient-centered and effective care. The clinical and administrative staff equally provide safe and timely care. There is a reason why people travel far and wide to Boston to get care from this practice. Also, highly recommend getting your laser hair removal here as the results I got from this practice have lasted longer than ones I got from other places. You can be reassured that the person providing care is actually skilled and will reduce the likelihood of an adverse side effect

I’ve been seeing Dr. Graber and her team for a couple years now and I’m so unbelievably happy that I found them. Whether it’s yearly skin checks, laser hair removal, botox, acne issues, etc., they always seem to amaze me with their level of professionalism and expertise. I’d 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I went in to get a conditioned checked. I got a full body check up, from scalp to toe, and explanations on what to look out for. Dr. Cindy made my day and I found a dermatologist I’d like to keep for life. She irradiates positive energy, the kind you wish you got to experience everyday! What an amazing lady.

Everyone is excellent at this practice. I have received acne treatment and have been so happy with my results! I tried the new Aviclear laser which has completely change my skin for the better. Dr. Al-Haseni and his team took the time to listen to me and make sure I was happy with my results. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Excellent first visit! The front desk team was friendly and helped me with my insurance referral. They made it very easy for me to send them the needed info. I was seen on time by Monica and Dr. Al-haseni and they were warm, professional and very helpful. A really fantastic and lovely experience - highly highly recommend!

Beyond happy with this office. I live on the Northshore and was seeing a derm up here. After multiple years I became unhappy with the results I was not seeing. As a 20 something I switched to this office and was taken care of immediately. They explained why the regiment and prescriptions I had been given did not work for me. They provided me with answers to all my questions and finally gave me the results I wanted. ALSO KUDDOS to the front desk at this office, (ESPECIALLY KATHERINE JOHNSON) I have never spoken to more understanding helpful receptionists especially when it comes to insurance. They want to help and put in the effort to make sure you are well taken care of. You will it be disappointed here!

Hands down the BEST dermatologists in Boston!!!!! They diagnosed a melanoma that I had on my leg that my previous dermatologist told me not to worry about for 2 years! Appointments are super easy to make, the office is super clean and bright, and the staff is amazing as well. I can't wait to try them out for some cosmetic stuff that I want done. I highly recommend the Dermatology Institute of Boston!!
