We arrived here after 5 nights wild camping in the Kalahari and were really happy to find such a great establishment. We were camping and we had all the facilities we could ask for and a lovely site. The ablutions were fantastic and clean and very rustic (as in, cool!). The owner was amazing to deal with and very friendly and helpful. Had a great night here. The chalets looked wonderful too.

Quite place, didn't love the game drives, it's not really a game drive just a farm tour, ostrich there and pool.Nothing todo, the steak was okay.The owner wasn't really friendly but at the end when we paid our daughter didn't pay for the game drive and food she ate. That was the only nice thing about the place.

The best food I’ve ever had in my entire life! Amazing hosts and just a beautiful setting with lots of wild game surrounding the lodge. Would definitely return. Highly recommended

What a wonderful place for a camping stopover (or lodge stay). Superbly clean and well thought out camp sites. Wonderful bar to help the sun go down, and delicious meals at the restaurant. It was so nice we nearly had a two-day stop-over. If you need a Ghanzi stop, this is the place.

Only got to stay a day but this place showed us top notch hospitality; great food and service and a beautiful, peaceful setting. Enjoyed the fast WiFi by the pool and outdoor seating areas

What a great place to overnight 500km from Windhoek towards SA through Botswana. Excellent rooms and food and hosts.

Very good campsite with 220v stalks, water, clean ablution facilities, lovely pool and a restaurant. Recommended.

Was such a pleasure to stay there. Rooms and surrounding areas are clean. Staff is friendly and very helpful. And the chef's food is good. Had a great time there

Only spent one night on way to Mabuasehube and will definitely use Palm Afrique again. An amazing campsite, really great chalets, great pub and pool area, superb buffet dinner and really really good hosts in Bertie and Sonja. Pity we had to leave early and couldn't stay for breakfast but will be back. Highly recomended to anyone in the area.

The place is very nice and beautiful. The male Afrikaans owner not so much. He was very rude. Hot water ran out fast so bathing was a problem in the morning. Not a place I would visit again This was back in 2019, I don’t remember the room number but it was one of the single rooms right next to the kitchen/dining area.

Palm Afrique is an exquisite boutique lodge, with great customer service. The rooms a spacious and food is excellent. Arguably the best place to stay in Ghanzi.

We stayed at the campsite for one night. It’s well equipped and easily accessible as it is located just a few km off the main road. A mixed sand and gravel road leads to the campsite. We cannot say anything about breakfast or the other facilities as we arrived late and left early but what we saw looked good. What we could say though is that the service is good. Due to a car incident we were running very late but staff waited for us and welcomed us warmly. So, all in all, a very short big experience.

Nice accommodation. Clean, friendly and quiet but pricey considering there is no air-conditioning for the prices charged in what is essentially the kalahari.

Palm Afrique is stylish, clean and beautifully decorated. The pool, bar area and the gardens are beautiful. So much attention to detail. The staff is friendly and went out of their way to make the stay special. The meals at the restaurant were delicious and is real value for money. This lodge comes highly recommended! 5 Stars!

Food (dinner) was fine and people serving drinks were friendly. Our room was full of mosquitoes, we slept 3 hours and were full of bites. When we told the reception in the morning they said the cleaning ladies leave the door open and the mosquitoes come in. And thanks for letting us know. So it wasn’t our fault, but we had to feel the consequences. There was no „I am sorry to hear“ or „can we offer you a coffee to go“… Discount to cover the inconveniences was also not possible. On top we paid 6 Euros/Dollars credit card fee. If we would have known, we would have paid cash… Finally, we couldn’t leave in the morning, nobody was opening the gate. I ran the 200m to the reception just to find out somebody is coming, no sorry or anything. Very sad to end our trip this way in Botswana, though we experienced the people here as a very welcoming and helpful folk.

Camping Campsites are grass, which is rare for the area. Free wandering game on the farm, ask for a game drive. Soft sand road to get here, but on the way to Central Kalahari, so you already have Big Boy pants on
