Letโ€™s start with how unprepared the road is. The host sent us a location pin with exact directions to African Casa, this took us through a BUSH leaving our car scratched and damaged! We later had to have a friend come fetch us and direct us the longer way to the Casa which should have been the only way in my opinion! The host then proceeded to tell us that we used the wrong road even though they SENT CLEAR LOCATION PINS! All they said was โ€œOH WELL, BAD LUCKโ€ - next the rooms itself. The host didnโ€™t have the key to our room and made us wait for 30min outside after weโ€™ve been on the road for over 5 hours! They proceeded to sit and JOIN US WHEN ALL WE WANTED WAS TIME TO REST! - we ended up staying at the Grand Palm instead! Next we were invited for a function over Christmas at African Casa, where we specifically stated we needed halal food options and they said they would cater, when we got there they were using the same cutlery for both halal and non halal preparations and they were consuming alcohol while cooking with a dog running in and out of the kitchen! - it was an awful experience and the hosts are terrible, rude and judgemental about your beliefs and religion! DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Took my wife on a family vacation and we were very very disappointed!!! Hosts are incredibly rude and disrespectful towards others religious views! The road to Casa completely destroyed my car, the hosts sent us a direct pin location and directions to the casa that we followed to the T but they claim we took a wrong road and did not even care about how our car was damaged! The room was not ready for us and they kept us waiting before we could view the room- they did not cater halal friendly food even after making prior arrangements with them! Terrible service! We stayed at the grand palm instead!

We have stayed there twice while on business in Gaborone, most recently 14 - 17 September 2021. Love it very clean and tidy and comfortable , fantastic owner, peacefully. Will stay there every time we go to Gaborone. Close to town but feel like you are miles out if town. Really recommend it.

Great place for overnight relaxation. ๐Ÿ‘ŒIts quite and reserved. The road to the place is not ideal though. Use a pick up truck when visiting.

Enjoyed the stay. Gardens are lovely and location not far from Gabs, Pakalane (10k's) or Tlokweng border

Unfortunately I came at night, for a short time to attend a pageantry event. Went there to support a friend of mine who scooped the crown of course ๐Ÿ˜ but the overall design of the hall was eye catching, natural and preservative. Artistic, many trees and well planned. Besides itโ€™s in the town outskirts, so you might wanna take a breather there..

Starting up the camp after COVID is a mission in its own and will undoubtedly have it's glitches. Not going to give a gleaming 5 star rating but a modest 3 star for now. Pleasant staff and clean amenities available here at African Casa. Great stop over of you heading North or South and can either rent a bungalow or a tent at fairly reasonable rates, heck you could even pitch your own tent or park your Overlander rig too. Fancy a game of tennis, well then there's a few tennis courts for you. I look forward to seeing this place back to full operational mode soon to upgrade my 3 star to a 5! Good luck guys and gals and p.s dont forget the toilet paper please ๐Ÿ˜.

Very cosy place, quiet, and very friendly staff. Hospitality was great and very helpful and definitely will be back. The chalets are standing high with a majestic African touch - service is at the wish of the client! We'll definitely be back...

The place is lovely. However there should be a disclaimer about the really bad road that leads there. If you're not using a van or suv, I wouldn't recommend going there.

Nice and quaint. The food is good and the staff was very friendly something rare in the tourism industry of Botswana these days especially when you are black !

Lovely place for a getaway. Was still under some renovations so didn't spend much time. Would definitely recommend it for a camping or just simple getaway...

๐Ÿ˜  Poor Customer service. Mr Mogaekwa at the reception has no respect for guests.Even if you try to express your dissatisfaction he doesnโ€™t give you a chance and says heโ€™s not bothered by what youโ€™re saying. At night you wonโ€™t find him at the reception but on the couch asleep.Very unpleasant encounter...
