The original chicken was outstanding. If you prefer sweet and savoury flavours, sweet and sour chicken is a must-try. Original and soya & garlic chicken are two of my favourites. The workers are really pleasant and will go out of their way to make you feel at ease.

Yummy Fried chicken, K-pop, cheap eats - what is not to like. The chicken was delicious, enjoyed the ramenlike soup. Overall super efficient experience and you are left full. Only drawback are the shady dudes smoking joints in front of the bar nextdoor, but it is Guy street... sort of normal.

Loveee the fried chicken Food: • Spicy Pork Bibimbap: spicy but really good spicy, it had the perfect balance of different veggies and pork. The pork was well marinated and very tasty. • Half half fried chicken: surprisingly good, very crispy. I like the spicy one more than the original, but both of them was great. SERVICE: there's only 1 lady there taking care of all the tables, she's lovely and very friendly. VIBE: the place located in a quite hidden area downstairs, doesn't have many customers come in. Large space with many empty tables, I wish people know more about this place.

Delicious Korean food! I went with my 2 sisters and we absolutely loved the place. I took the seafood sundubu with seaweed rolls. The rolls are an absolute must! One of my sister took the spicy pork combo which comes with a variety of choices. Good option if you don’t know what to order. We shared the original fried chicken(half) and the rice cake skewers. The fried chicken was a little bit too greasy for me and the not salty enough. The sauce of the rice cake skewers tasted too much tomato. But Overall great food! And the best of all is the service!! The owner is so welcoming and nice. I recommend A++

Great service, very friendly. Great food with the right amount of sauce and crunch. The white meat parts were a bit dry and I don't know if we can choose meats, but that's it for the downsides. Definitely will be my go to Korean fried chicken place at least for the time being.

Go and try their pleasantly served food and music. Nice place with flowers, truly romantic. Tables are clean , peaceful people and transparent chars . Warm environment for children and people who lives to look on the clean floor.

🧡One of our favorite Korean restaurants in MTL 💛The food was appetizing. We ordered rice cake skewers, seaweed rolls, corn cheese, and half original chicken. Everything was absolutely incredible! 💛The customer service was amazing. The staffs were very friendly, polite, kind, and meticulous. 🧡 We always enjoy our meals every time we come here. Great atmosphere, great food, and great people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🌝

10/10 for experience and for food taste. We had a take out instead of dine is as we had a hard time to look for a parking. Anyway, the woman who prepared my food gave me a free softdrink and free dumplings ( free dumplings for for orders more than $ 30). Everything was delicious. 😋 Definitely coming back!

Home style dishes with generous portions! Would recommend the combo plate and seafood sundubu (tofu stew) which was tasty and filling. The service was friendly and welcoming too! The only downside was the chicken being quite dry and lacking crispiness, but still packed with flavours.

Great experience! The food was delicious, but a bit too spicy for me to handle, so if you're not usually good with spices don't try your luck there and pick a mild option haha. Apart from that, the service was very friendly and I had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

The service is really great. The staff will greet you really nice. I went to order for takeout. It only takes 15 minutes for all my order came out. I ordered half-half 6 pieces of soy garlic and spicy sauce. And also chicken combo. In chicken combo, it contained all three original crispy, soy garlic, and spicy chicken, including glass noodles japchae and fried dumpling. I really like the japchae. All of the flavor of the chicken are great! Recommended all!

I ordered chicken combo, it is nice. The sauce on the chicken is flavourful. For lunch is a good portion. The sauce for the salad is yummy too. Will come back to try other food.

As far as Korean fried chicken goes, it tastes similar in most places that serve it, and COQCOR has the same almost identical taste. Which is pretty good, just nothing special. The cheesy corn on the other hand was an amazing item and it added to the overall experience.

One of the best korean restaurants that I discovered in montreal! Highly recommend to try it! Near guy concordia station. The owner there is super friendly. You get to try some authentic korean food like japchae, spicy tteokbooki, corn cheese, rice cakes, bulgogi, ramyeon, mandu (dumplings) and the very famous 3 types of fried chicken. I liked the sweet and spicy one more. Took 3 of my friends here too after college haha. I miss this place already.

Had the seafood soondubu for pickup and it was a solid and comforting dinner at our hotel after a full day of walking in the cold rain. Our order qualified for complimentary dumplings, which we did not know, and they were nice enough to inform us. Very memorable service!

Absolutely delicious! It was our first time going Friday evening at 6pm, the food was better than I anticipated, clean, fresh and amazing flavours. The staff is very friendly and cheerful! There’s a “call” button on the table so they only come when you press it which is super practical. Overall, I highly recommend this place, it’s booming and I look forward to going back!! 10/10

Super and fresh tasty Korean food. The fried chicken was the best I’ve had in a while. Glass noodles are addicting. My partner really enjoyed the bulgogi bibimbap and rice cakes. Staff is great too! They were nice enough to figure out how to stream the World Cup for us when we asked.

Perfect place for a snack, full meal, or a drink in the heart of Montreal. If you are craving Asian cuisine this is the place to go. I only had enough room in my stomach for a snack so I had the rice cake sticks and mini glass noodles. I do wish the glass noodles had a bit more veggies. The mushrooms were a little dry. I'm sure their fried chicken and other Korean dishes are phenomenal!!

A cute restaurant that serves good Korean foods. Their tteokbokki is actually quite spicy which I like very much.

Guys coqcor is so far away from my home. I did indeed uber eat and did this not DISAPPOINT. Wow. Amazing food. Even though the chicken was coated in sauce, it still stayed crispy and juicy and delicious. Incredible 10/10 recommend!

I went in person and take out. For a whole fried chicken, Coqcor is pretty cheap (compare to KFC). More importantly, the sauce that glaze the chicken are amazing!!!! It was sweet, tangy with a little bit of kick that matches brilliantly with the juiciness of the chicken. The rice skewer has great flavor with a perfect crust. However, I do not recommend the corn with cheese nor the kimchi.

This was the best dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Not only is this the best Korean food I’ve had in Montreal and South Shore (we are big fans of Korean food), the woman and girl who were working today were truly phenomenal. The older woman was truly such a treasure when it comes to customer service, even sliding an extra table over so my husband could put his coat on the chair so the bottom didn’t touch the floor (totally unprompted). She also made sure we had plenty of water and was kinder than anyone I’ve ever had the pleasure of having service from. She offered everyone hot tea, even those waiting for takeout, which was really kind. Now the 🔥FOOD🔥! The tteokbokki was cooked to perfection (the rice cakes were the perfect texture, the fish cakes were phenomenal and the sauce was hands down the best tteokbokki sauce I’ve ever tried), the chicken dumplings were fantastic, but the true star of the show was the boneless chicken - cooked to perfection, incredible batter, not too heavy and very tasty. And finally, the 호떡 (hotteok) is a must try. I find it difficult to find places that will make hotteok in Montreal, and this one certainly didn’t disappoint. I might have to swing in when I’m having a sweet craving, they were truly phenomenal. Between the quality of the food and the kind, kind service, this is definitely an establishment worth supporting and spending your money at. We will absolutely be back, especially to try the vegetable 바전! 감사합니다 ^^

Ordered on Ubereats, placed an order of $100. The portion of food received was appallingly small. Seafood soup came in a small container with hardly any seafood inside, was bland and filled with tofu, costing $18. As shown in the photo, it contained one small shrimp and thus costs 5 more dollars than vegetable soup. The spicy pork, $16.84, barely covered the bottom of the small box it came in. Not to mention the extremely small rice box. In sum, ordering takeaway from this restaurant is a total waste of money. Next time I would order from somewhere where the food is actually filling. Thanks.

Absolutely loved this place!! The food was delicious and full of flavour and the workers were so sweet! Me and my friend ordered the chicken dumplings, the sweet pork bibimbap and the tteokbokki by pressing a button when we were ready and our order came in around 10 minutes!! Prices are reasonable and vibe is great

Went here before New Year's eve and the Japanese lady server I got was rude af. The restaurant was busy with online order pickups when I got there so I didn't bother the server to ease her workload when I arrived. Patiently waited when they accomplished most of the orders and I then asked for the menu and she straight up gave me attitude saying I should've informed her like? Miss girl.. It's not that deep. I nicely asked for the menu so just give it and go lol. She was running around grabbing online orders so I patiently waited for the right time to ask for the menu but I ended up getting attitude like? When I paid, I definitely didn't gave a tip considering her poor customer service. She then got mad and started to slam things?? I'm like??? LOL. With that attitude baby you are ABSOLUTELY getting NOTHING. Very deserved. Don't get mad when you get 0 tips when tipping is completely optional. I also ordered for 2 sojus for take out and when I paid, she only gave me one. Turns out, she only charged me for one and she got mad?? I'm like????? You're mad for what? Maybe listen carefully next time? I had to ask for an extra bag for the soju as well bec I know the paper bag she initially gave was SO thin and it might break when I walk out.. She got even more mad telling me why do I need an extra bag? I'm like???? I'm the type of person who would never complain and retaliate so I just laughed and smiled when I walked out but remembering that night, I hope the management reassess the employee as it might further affect the reputation of the restaurant. Please check your CCTV because she probably victimized more customers besides myself. I feel bad for the other employees as they were really nice. The short hair with glasses (?) and the ahjumma greeted me HNY. They were both very attentive and nice. Food was okay and they served them very fast so that was really nice as well. Restaurant has also a HUGE selection of soju flavors so that was a plus! Ambiance is nice as well. Overall, would still recommend especially for first time visitors like me in Montreal who craves for Korean food.
