Old Terrebonne is beautiful anytime of the year and Winter is no different. Plenty to see if you love nature. Take advantage of the cold weather to see the ice sculptures dotted around the park, hit the ice and go ice skating or just enjoy the scenery.

This is a beautiful place to spend an afternoon or evening! All of the signs are in French, but don’t let that discourage you if your French is not good. There are people that will be happy to translate for you and explain things written and not written. I am originally from the USA and I found this to be a quaint and beautiful little treasure that I wish more people knew about and would discover for themselves. There has been a tremendous amount of work done to restore the old buildings and re-purposed them for current generations. This place is really a piece of North American history that you won’t learn about in textbooks. I encourage anyone reading this to read up and better yet, visit for themselves. You won’t regret it!

Any city would be so fortunate to be surrounded by what is found in the Old Terrebonne village, especially the area around the old mill. Plenty of walkable parks, benches along the waterfront areas. Come here all the time to get a good nature stretch. Update: 2023: Hopefully the pond's fountain will one day work again.

Great park no matter what the season. Very clean with lots of benches for those who need to take rests aswell as some picnic tables. There are little signs along the path of the park that provide you with a full workout. You can usually see some ducks there are also a few interesting art structures. Overall a nice place to take a walk, and it's free.

It is a very nice park with open spaces for walking and playing. I live the lakes surrounding the park and the little restaurants next to it. Easy to navigate and walk with plenty of seats to relax

One of the most beautiful places to spend a full day of fun and activity, walking and strolling among the wonderful organized streets of the city full of activities, restaurants and bars, listening to music and between the beauty and tranquility of nature, trees and water, I highly recommend this place.

We biked through here, lovely little town with a dam and breath-taking views, lots of people on paths so not easy to bike but only for a short period, nice place for a stoll and to have picnic.

This was a charming little island with lots of character and variety. The park is very spacious and families were picnicking at the tables. There was a farmer’s market directly adjacent to the park, which was amazing! This is a location for lots of events throughout the summer and even fall. The “downtown” as I call it was so charming and there were lots of great restaurants to choose from, almost all of them had covered patio or outdoor seating. There is also an authentic Irish pub on the strip. In short, lots of green space and water, along with historical buildings and tours, with plenty of great options to eat and drink. The nighttime vibe is probably pretty cool here.

A bit disappointed. Not too much to see. The mill was used as an exhibition place for butterfly and you have to pay to get in. It was supposed to be a museum to showcase the history of the town? There was a river and a dam and that was it..

Nice scenic area in old Terrebonne. Cross the pedestrian bridge to Ile St-Jean, and the walking paths just keep on going! No dogs allowed, though 😒

The walkway is for pedestrians only and is a great way to get from one island to the next. They are not linked by a vehicle bridge, but both islands are linked to the rest of the city by road Ponds, picnic tables, bike paths, walking trails and playground It is awesome park and amazing view I love this place.
