    - Broken crack pipe behind bed - Hookers in parking lot - Smoke coming through vents - Leaking everything - Lights not working - Dead bug carcasses everywhere - Stains all over sheets I go 50+ nights a year in hotels for work. This is the worst ever.

Very clean rooms, good price, very discreet too and not noisy at all. Will definitely go back again.

I would rate this hotel even 0 if there was any option. We were trying to book a room and called them as of online reservation issues. The receptionist was too rude and hung up the call in the middle of the conversation.

Be very careful with this hotel, and do not trust their reservation system. I called them to reserve a room for a Saturday night during Osheaga weekend, when almost nothing else was available. Attendant took down my first name and nothing else. He provided me with the room info and price, and said we can pay when we check in. I found that kind of odd. So I asked him to just send me a confirmation email for the reservation. He agreed to do so. A day went by and I didn't receive anything...very odd. Fortunately, I was able to find a room elsewhere during this busy weekend. So, as a courtesy, I called to cancel the phone reservation he made for me. He kept insisting that you need to cancel through Expedia and they don't do phone reservations. I asked him to just look up the reservation with my name because I am sure he made one over the phone. He says "okay" and just hangs up. Very rude and unreliable attendant. My guess is that the rooms weren't available but they were overbooking anyways, just in case someone cancels. If I relied on this reservation and showed up that night...we might not have had a place to sleep during that busy weekend. Unacceptable and shady behaviour.

The most disgusting hotel we ever stayed. It’s dirty beyond imagination. Hallway reeked of the smell of weed. Super dirty carpet, heavily stained towels, and bed linens and shower with lots of hair from previous guests. We would have never even considered staying at such a rundown place had our flight not been canceled and airline not booked us this horrible place. Stay away from it! The good reviews for this hotel are very dishonest and misleading.

This hotel is very good. room and beds very comfortable and clean. The employers are very friendly and professional. there is a big parking lot to park my car easily. even easily for the huge trucks. The restaurant in the hotel has very delicious food , too! Biside this there's a bar with 15 poker machines in the hotel. Its good to spend your doll time. that night I won 86 bulks☺️ . The location is good. from there to downtown only take about 15 minutes if driving not in rush hour.

Nice place to stay when travelling, usually busy, pre-book the place. Close the highway 🛣 and tim hortons. Two single beds, 📺, fridge, AC.

I do not recommend this hotel. Paid with taxes almost $180 totally not worth it, huge overprice ( but I have to admit, that in Canada and in Quebec especially hotels become overpriced). Hotel needs full renovation, not just a patchwork. In my room 212 old and cheap shower faucet malfunctioned, called receptionist and together we somehow established acceptable temperature and water flow... Dirty and worn out carpets in the lobby. No breakfast, restaurant closed... Floor looked dirty in the room, I did not risk to walk on it barefoot. Clumsy tv remote. The only good things: noisy ac but worked, and bed sheets were clean. To the owner I recommend: please, replace shower faucet in room 212 , call a good local plumber, put Moen faucet, it is reliable and easy to use. Renovate hotel ! In Germany I stayed in B&B Hotels for half price of what I paid here, and hotel was always super clean, in order, nice design... Extra 10 euros (around 15 $ canadian) - excellent breakfast... I came to Canada first time in 1998, and I have to say that in 25 years country become worse than before. Overprice and low quality in hotel industry is one of the reasons why country becomes worse. I heard that even about 70 percent of Ukrainian refugees come to Canada, stay here for a while - and then leave, don't want to live in Canada permanently, prefer German speaking countries, Scandinavia, Poland and Czech Republic... I hope my info will help to shape your decisions about staying in this hotel and speed up hotel renovations or at least influence the adjustment of the price... In my opinion this hotel should not cost more that $90 per night.

This is one of the only affordable hotels near Montreal for a reason. The free parking, wifi, and proximity to the highway were the highlights of this hotel. Service was not impressive. When we went to check in and out, the front desk was abandoned. Waited 20 minutes to check out because the desk person had snuck off to make breakfast in the restaurant kitchen. The building was not in great shape: covers missing from fixtures, wires hanging from the ceiling, chipping paint on all the doors. The room we were in had no functioning AC (although there was a unit in the wall), only a couple of working lights, and bed sheets that had a few stains on them (though small, it's still disturbing). There seems to be very little activity there until the middle of the night, when people come and go at all hours. The walls are also kind of thin. And, though the signs said no smoking, most of the property reeked of smoke. We also spotted several people smoking in the non-smoking rooms with their balcony door open as though that made it okay. As long as you lock your door, you can at least know that you have a safe place to sleep, but I would not recommend this hotel. If you don't want to pay the ridiculous prices that Montreal hotels charge, book and Airbnb in the Longeuil area. We actually really enjoyed the restaurant selection and the massive park and sports complex nearby. Good neighborhood, sketchy hotel.

Stayed 1 night! Room was smelling of smoke, even if they advertise a non smoking room! The beds are dirty and if you stay there better carry your own blankets! Bathroom had mood all over and the toilet, oh lol 😂 leaks. The rooms have no extra locks to make females secure in this place, is a no option. Overall not worth the hard earned money

Awful location, rude staff . Drove 7.5 hours to find out they had made a mistake and there was no room available for me. Had to wait multiple hours until the situation was resolved.

VERY old hotel and VERY old rooms. Everything is old, stained, smelly. AC barely works. Wifi is choppy and slow. They tried to charge me the room even though I had already paid online. They asked for a $20 deposit for the room key. Red flags EVERYWHERE. Go somewhere else.

Super fast check in check out Basic clean towel and bed sheets. Ample car parking Bearable for one night. Really outdated and not well maintained faculties. No elevator. Only walk up Wash basin is outside bathroom next to bed...yuck! Clogged sink Dark and dingy corridors with musty smell. Quite dirty overall. $20 cash security deposit required on checkin. Is returned on checkout. Location next to highway. Good if you are driving, otherwise not. Not great value for the money

My boyfriend and I decided to go into Montreal for the weekend and choose Hotel l’express. The worst hotel we’ve both ever stayed at and we go to hotels monthly. We were very disappointed and decided to sleep somewhere else for the night with no refund, that’s how awful it was. The nightstands were filthy, black sticky stains on both stands. In the dressers there was red dots that were appeared uncleaned. The carpet had full of stains and looked like is hasn’t been vacuumed for months. My boyfriend and I took pictures to show the lady at the front desk and her response was “here’s another room, let me know if it’s good enough”. She herself seemed uncertain if the room was clean. The second room was just as disgusting and uncleaned as the first. Overall, my boyfriend and I’s 10 minutes in the hotel were appalling and we wouldn’t recommended to anyone no matter the price. Book with caution.

It was an extremely rundown building, not very clean inside the room, there were dirty underpants hanging on the back of the bathroom door. It was a non-smoking room that stank of cigarettes. We would not have remained there for the night but Quebec was under a Covid19 curfew and we we couldn't leave. The manager was rude and very unfriendly. I think it may be a "no tell motel" if you get my drift. Stay clear of this place!

Pathetic and worst than cheapest motels available... Don't ever go to this hotel...i went there with my family and parents on the Canada day 2022 long weekend They took almost $200 for each room, the first room that was allocated to me, it's washroom leaked, then they gave me another room and lights don't work, then they gave me another room, then another room which apparently had smoking smell, then one more room allocated but washroom fan did not work and AC too. When somebody uses a washroom the whole room stinks since no air is going out. I told them to change it again and then they said we don't have any room available, you can leave the room and take full refund that too at 11pm they are telling me this. My parents room washroom flush was not working, they allocated a room on 3rd floor where AC was not working too. Where will i go @ 11pm with all my family? Had no choice but had to spend a night. This service that too for $200, not at all worth it. Don't go to this place. Waste of money... You can get a way better place than this for less money... DON'T EVER GO THERE...

The place needs maintenance and cleaning improvements. It’s bit outdated. The rooms are decent. I ran into multiple issues. The first room I was giving the bedsheets had wholes in it. When I asked the if they can change the bedsheets. The receptionist said my cleaning lady is not here and said you can do it your self. I asked to change the room. She changed the room, but gave me a smoking room which was very smelly. I booked for a non- smoking room. Also the ac and heater did not work in the room. When I asked to change the room again. She gave the first room I had to began with. She gave me a angry look because someone had to change the bedroom bed sheets. If your paying 68-70 bucks per night just pay 10to 20 dollars more and go somewhere.
