Exellent vegan-friendly and affordable food. Everything is homemade and the service is so attentive and kind. Their banh mis are so flavoursome and the bread is very fresh! My favourite one is the vegan pork sandwich. As a starter, I would suggest the rice dumplings which were such a good discover. Their icecream is also incredibly delicious! I’ll definitely be making this my go to spot during the summer! I can’t wait to try all their other Vietnamese dishes.

It was a fantastic vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food. I would love to try their banh mi next time but I also highly recommend the bowl of noodles that I got!

Tried the beef vermicelli bowl and all of the spring rolls. All vegetarian, mostly vegan! All mock meats made in house, the beef was my favourite. Very cute restaurant, lovely service and amazing prices. Our whole meal was under 20$. This is going to be one of my new go-to lunch and dinner places 😊

Friendliest resto in town! 😁 Delicious affordable food made with love! Vegan & gluten free options + super accommodating with various diets & allergies! Here you have a photo of their yummy mushroom “duck” soup. Special mention to their “beef” papaya salad, faux lemongrass “chicken” & corrosol ice cream! I’ve been going there for yrs - same unbeatable quality & freshness!

A perfect restaurant to take out! The Chicken/lemongrass Bánh Mí is delicious and the blueberry bubble tea is my personal favourite. However, one thing that I constantly noticed is that they run out of Banh Mi in the afternoon and it’s really disappointing when you hope to get one after work. This is the only point that doesn’t make it a 5-star restaurant.

If you’ve passed by sapa on st laurent and considered trying some of their delicious vegetarian eats, don’t even think about it–just go! This is one of those places that i wish existed in every neighborhood. the staff are exceptionally kind and generous which made the experience all the more memorable. the bi banh mi has to be one of the best Vietnamese sandwiches I’ve had in my life, I also tried the ‘beef’ one and the flavours were so close to the real thing, there is a large selection of vegan and homemade ice cream that is to die for. I have yet to try the sodas and noodles but will for sure soon. Best part is the prices and that everything is made fresh right in front of you, I will definitely be coming back with my friends and trying all the dishes ! 💚

Sapa is one of the very best restaurants in Montreal. Everything tastes so fresh! The cucumbers, noodles, salad are all fresh. I eat outside everyday and I have tried nearly every restaurant in Montreal, and Sapa is some of the freshiest, healthiest food I have tried in this city. I tried their vegan beef sandwich and noodle beef meal. The meals come in a very nice container, very nicely packed. I am extremely impressed with the attention to detail in the packaging, and how healthy and excellent the food is. This is a 10/10. One of the healthiest, most fresh food in Montreal. It doesn't get any better than this!

It was delicious and very affordable, I drove 45 mins to get there so I tried a bit of everything, I highly recommended the spicy soup, spring rolls and banh mi sandwiches. Just don't forget to mention you are vegan if you are of course. The staff is extremely friendly, they greeted me with a huge smile. You'll be full and have a tasty meal for less than $20. I'll definitely go back.

My favourite restaurant in Mtl. Adorable people who serve you genuine and authentic food, made with love. Prices are so affordable, portions are great, taste is beyond expectations every time. Perfect for a quick Bánh mì ready in seconds, a bubble tea hot or cold, Bun Hue soup to warm your soul, or even vegan Bánh xèo <3 Will always recommend, Sapa is like family to me and I'm sure many can relate ^^

One of my go to vegetarian spots (#3 Bahn mi 👌🏻) Perfect if you're looking for affordable, yet delicious food (latte and sub less than $10!) My stepdad loves this place and still doesn't believe the Bahn mi sandwiches are vegetarian... they're that good. Always fast & friendly service & there's usually a parking spot right out front if you need to get in & out. Bilingual service.

Great vegetarian (vegan?) bistro offering boiling hot Vietnamese soups and crunchy sandwiches, ice cream, bubble tea and desserts. I had the bun hue; a spicy, sour soup filled with tofu, thick rice noodles, cabbage and onions. It was so flavourful and warming in this cooling weather. Definitely on my favourites list :)

Fully vegetarian. The banh mi subs with mock meat are the standouts. The bun bo Hue and bun could use more flavour, but I'm used to eating a lot of fish sauce. They also have ice cream with Asian flavours and mochi so definitely returning on my next Mile End run.

Delicious veggie Banh Mi with meat alternatives. The owner is extremely kind. It's a pleasure every time. Merci!

What a great location! The employees were extremely welcoming and the whole time we were there they greeted each customer as a friend (and I wouldn't even be surprised if they were all regulars). The food was excellent and came out very quickly. We got the Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi, the spring rolls, and the Bun Hue Vietnamese Soup. Both quantity and quality were high, and the flavours were impactful but well-balanced. The banh mi was perfect if you're craving a sandwich, and the soup was great for a cold, wet day. Overall an amazing place for vegetarian Vietnamese food and I plan to come here again!

This place is amazing. Very vegetarian. The staff greets you very warmly and with a big smile. Food is fresh and tasty. Their ice coffee is delicious! I highly recommend bun mang soup (with vegetarian duck and vermicelli)!

This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had - and we are not even vegetarians :). We had bahn mi, 3 treasure plate, bubble tea - everything was delicious! The place is spotless clean and the employees are very friendly. Highly recommend!

Not sure if this qualifies as a “hidden” gem but it’s truly spectacular - the Bi banh mi is incredibly good, ingredients and bread is always fresh, and they are super super nice here. Good for takeout or dine-in. Their prices are some of the best in the neighbourhood. 100% vegetarian with vegan options

I've been to Sapa a few times, and I am never disappointed. My go-to is their Bi banh mi! I also love their fresh spring rolls and their Vietnamese coffee is amazing. Definitely one of my comfort food spots in Montreal, next time I'd love to try their soups:)

Delicious Vietnamese vegetarian dishes. Food is good, portion is right. The owner super nice and relax. We love Bun Mang, Banh Xeo, Banh Mi, Bun Hue. We will come back for sure.

Although, the menu mentions meat flavored meals. It's a vegetarian Vietnamese restaurant. I had a beef banh Mi. It was good, but it's a small meal! Get an ice cream with it or something 😉 I would definitely return there and try more of them!

Amazing food. So many vegan and gluten free options. The lemongrass chicken (actually a king oyster mushroom) is SO GOOD. All our bowls were clean at the end. Owner is extremely friendly and nice and helped explain the options in English. Can't recommend it enough 🥰

I've had lots of veggie/vegan Vietnamese food and was always a little underwhelmed but this place is super good - their soups are super flavourful and their fake meats are really yummy. Highly recommended!

  • 5/5 Nathaniel S. 2 years ago on Google
This is maybe the most underrated little plateau spot that I’ve been to. It’s a nice family owned vegan place that doesn’t scream that it’s vegan to you and it’s even really hard to notice based on the food. It’s affordable and very tasty, the lemon chicken banh mi is delicious as are the others and the spring rolls are also really tasty.

  • 5/5 Kevin J. 2 years ago on Google
The owner is one of the friendliest people I've ever met, and that isn't an exaggeration. She was very welcoming and helpful. The mango bubble tea was very flavourful. Would highly recommend
