Chez Ernest is hands down my new favorite place. It's my happy place. The staff is truely the best ever and I grew to know and love them all. The food is also delicious and made with love. Nothing but great experiences 🥰🥰🥰

I recently visited this establishment and was met with a less-than-pleasant experience. The manager, who referred to himself as 'the little Frenchman', surprisingly advised me to go elsewhere—a suggestion I now understand. The quality of the food was disappointing. It lacked the flavor and finesse one would expect from a place that presents itself with such confidence. The service, too, was below par. Not only did the staff seem disinterested and unattentive, but I also faced a significant challenge in getting service in English. This language barrier, coupled with the staff's unaccommodating attitude, further diminished my dining experience. Furthermore, the cocktails were a letdown. They were noticeably watered down, lacking the robust flavor and quality one anticipates in a good mixed drink. Considering the numerous options available on the plaza, I would recommend exploring other venues for a more rewarding culinary and service experience

The interior decor and patio is what caught our attention. We had just finished brunch so we decided to enjoy by having a drink. The server is very attentive. It’s possible to purchase some of the ornaments on display, simply ask the server. Lots of places to sit inside. We will have to come back to try the food.

Relatively new bar on Saint-Hubert Street with a nice selection of beer and snacks to go with it. They have different activities going on during the week. On Tuesday nights, there is an introductory swing dance class with teachers from a nearby studio followed by a social night so you can practice and mingle with the other students. On Thursdays there's a live band. They also have a terrace in the summer. Friendly staff and nice vibes for a weekday night out with friends.

I had a great experience at this bar a few weeks ago. They had a live blues band that day. Customers were having a good time. Relaxed atmosphere. There's a dance floor. The staff were courteous. They had non alcoholic beer which tasted good.

The ambiance is great. Drinks are way to small, they barely fill 1/3 of the glass and that's with ice in them. I get it, they are a bit cheaper than other places, but is not even half of what I would get in other places

This bar is an awesome find! We had our best night during our Christmas holidays The choice of drinks is great, the many choice of beer can cater to any taste, the cocktails are delicious. The food is amazing (do check out the mousse de foie and maquereau). A big up to the decoration and setting. Most of all, the waiters are super friendly and welcoming. I heard every night there was a theme (from stand up to swing night to quiz), I'm going to come back for sure!

we went on a Thursday for live music, arrived at 10:30pm sat at the bar. Lovely ambience, bartenders and staff is friendly. The place is decorated like a dream, with a dark academia vibe. The jazz singer and band were absolutely lovely

As soon as you walk in you feel right at home, this is a neighborhood bar. The service is quick. They have a simple local menu from beer to snacks. You have a feeling of being on a patio in Europe with the snack selection. The service is very inviting of all the guest. This is Montreal, open to all. The owners at both at their time in house taking the time to make sure everything is up to par. From swing night to Italian discoveries this is a venue to discover. Great vibe. Very welcoming! I enjoyed a glass of wine with a girlfriend, and they accommodated me with 7mo baby. We had a platter and the veggie pâté was the bomb!

This is a really nize cozy spot in Plaza Saint-Hubert. If ever looking for something to do in the area, I think it will serve nicely. Food and drink are nice too.

Visiting from Newfoundland, we went here before a Metallica concert at Olympic Stadium. The decor and vibe hooked us, so we stayed for food and drinks. Everything was delicious, and I honestly had the tastiest salad I've ever had. I highly recommend you find this place, sit back, and enjoy!

Visiting from Munich, came on Tuesday for the “Soirée swing tous les Mardis!” and had an absolutely fantastic time. Beautiful people moving quickly through time and space. Can’t miss. Just bought a return ticket to Montreal to go again.

In fact i haven't try for there since I've been there for Tuesday swing dancing party. The place looks very atmospheric. Relatively small dancing floor adding up the coziness points to the jazz dancing atmosphere. Very nice surprise is that prices there are with taxes included. Also when someone broke my glass with wine it was replaced for free, which was not necessary, but very thoughtful^⁠_⁠^
