Alice & Rose coffee shop was an amazing find! On the university hill, where the emphasis is often on cheap food, and a party atmosphere, this was a nice little oasis, straight out of Alice in Wonderland. From the high back chairs to the long tables, and interesting artwork, everything was mind expanding. The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Remember, you've got to feed your head!

They have great gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. The chef even made me GFV French toast! The food was great & the atmosphere was so fun. We will be back!

WOW. The brunch, and dinner menus are to die for!! I tried the lobster Benedict which despite its affordable price was 10/10. Their coffee is delicious and affordable as well. Their baked items are scrumptious but make sure to get there before they sell out. The owner Holly was super friendly and you can tell she put in hard work down to the tiniest details especially regarding the interior design. My new favorite spot :)

Very unique coffee shop! Their brunch starts at 10am and is very very tasty. Small menu, but I had the croissant sandwich and it was very good and larger than expected. Their coffee and pastries are also very good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is certainly unique with an Alice in Wonderland theme and very impressive. The decor is definitely worth a trip to see. Service was very good as well! Overall, enjoyed it very much and will certainly be back!

Alice & Rose impressed us all beyond compare with its phenomenal food and service. After celebrating a birthday brunch, my entire family was convinced that nothing could top what we were experienced that morning. The food was so well prepared and served beautifully in the cutest plates, the drinks were unique and memorable, and the staff was always on top of things. Thank you to Holley for creating such a special place and to all the staff present that day!

We had brunch one day and afternoon tea another. Great, friendly service and delicious food. The owner Holley took the time to plan the best items for our daughter's tea tower and we had a wonderful time. Amazing decor and fun drinks. Highly recommended.

Our experience was more of a 3.5 star, but overall, we had a nice experience so I kept it a 4. They seem to be relatively new and still maybe working out some kinks so keep that in mind. Pros: The place is absolutely adorable. Really enchanting and unique. Staff was friendly. Food was good. I loved the herbs in my hollandaise sauce. The bacon was really flavorful too. Cons and some Suggestions: 1) Still working out kinks. I’d ordered a regular chai. It came spicy and had to be sent back. I’d requested bacon added to my California Eggs Benny. It came on the side. 2) It’s on the pricey side for food portions. But mildly expected in the area. We were satisfied with what we got but if you come hungry, you might be a little disappointed. 3) Coming into what looks like a tea shop, you would expect to have access to a variety of tea. Unfortunately, you only have that variety if you’re there for high tea. Otherwise it’s a small selection of bagged tea. So you’re staring at a shelf of tea you can’t enjoy. It would be nice if they offered the loose leaf teas all day. Even if it’s only available as a whole pot. That was our experience at Dushanbe, which was nice. 4) They serve fruit as their side, which I don’t mind. But my husband commented that having it served in the same dish with his lobster benny, had his cantaloupe tasing like old bay. I’d recommend the fruit be served in its own medium ramekin on the plate. I would love it too if they had a small side salad as an option with the benny’s. Obviously that’s a personal preference. 5) The tables- they have two top tables set for three people. Menus for three people don’t fit on the tables, I don’t see how plates and drinks would. As a party of three, you’ll be really cramped if you’re set there. Thankfully they did accommodate our party of three at a four top when requested because they had the space at the time. 6) Staff may need a little help focusing on the customer experience. It’s a small place so checking back more frequently, removing plates quicker, etc… And as I was getting up from the table to leave, the server next to us was more interested in squeezing by me to deliver plates to his table than letting me by. We’d like to give this place another try so hopefully some things will smooth out.

It was a party of 4, one baby and we had such the best time. The food was spectacular and the ingredients were absolutely fresh. They were mindful of my allergy notes in the reservation. The Afternoon Tea is such an experience and comparable to that at the Brown Palace. The one thing I have to point out is that Afternoon Tea vs High Tea are two different things. The one served here is not “afternoon high tea.” That’s not a thing. It’s Afternoon Tea. Every detail was styled with class & grace. The service was kind and very considerate of our late friend and the baby. We also noticed that the owners and staff were very patient with the displaced person that came in. Would definitely love to revisit with my partner for dinner service or afternoon tea.
