From the reviews, I expect this place to be solid, far from it. I ordered the pad Thai. The chicken was dry plus there was no spice to it. I ate half of my plate and threw the rest out, it wasn’t good. I believe whoever said this was the best Pad Thai they ever tasted was either related to the owner or never had pad Thai before.

The only place to eat authentic Thai food, you’ll thank me that you tried the chicken drunken noodle!!!

So delicious, this is the one place in Colorado that has consistently made delicious Thai food. I recommend the pad see yew or Thai fried rice. The flavor is on point 😋

Not sure what the negative reviews are on about — the basil Thai fried rice is some of the best I've ever had. I live in San Francisco now and have yet to find a place that will make it nearly as spicy as Thai Avenue. Still my favorite .

My boyfriend would come here when he was in college and has been ranting about this place since we started dating…so we finally made it out to Colorado…and let me tell you….WORTH THE HYPE! Such good pad thai.

Best Thai food in boulder, possibly Colorado. Great small business to support with kind service and great authentic food.

Ordered a pork pad Thai and been sitting on the toilet for the last 2 hours. It was definitely a hygiene problem and not a spice issue as I have a lot of spicy food all the time. Portion was big, taste was ok ( a bit too sweet for me) but man.. I have not had such bad stomach ache in a while. Don’t risk it.

Easily my favorite place on the hill! Their food is amazing and a really good price, most meals are good for two servings! I love getting the pad see ew with pork belly and splitting with my boyfriend. The owner is always so friendly and I love the atmosphere of the seating area

My favorite Thai food spot in Colorado. Amazing food and amazing prices. The owner is the sweetest lady you will ever meet.

Took a take out. The basil fried rice has some weird smell and I ended up throwing the whole box. The Thai style fried rice was ok compared to the other disaster. Overall the food was bland, and. It enjoyable to eat. Never going here again and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I'm Thai and I absolutely love this place. It's authentic and some of the best thai food I've had in the US. The location is hole in the wall but totally worth going out of your way to get. The staff is amazing and very sweet. 10/10 would recommend

I got Shrimp Pad Thai, it was alright. Not the best, not the worst. The shrink is tail-on, which is annoying when it’s on a dish. The place also wasn’t the cleanest

Thai Avenue is my personal favorite restaurant on The Hill. Back in undergrad I would stop by between rehearsals and it never ceased to surprise me with fantastic authentic Thai food. After a long time away I stopped in to pick up my favorite Thai Cury, Tea and wontons. It was perfectly made. There was a mix up with my payment and it accidentally charged me twice. They were so polite with making sure that the issue was taken care of and made a point to have me come back by comping my next meal. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Boulder.

This is the closest to the food I had in Thailand I’ve found anywhere. Really awesome Thai fried rice and egg rolls. Reasonable prices and large portions. It’s a little tricky to find as it’s done in a basement area with a few other restaurants. Really great food!

Tasteless. Ask for spicy. Nothing. Noodles did not seem cooked fresh. Missing some of the standard flavors. Was not great. Got to eat with my fingers.
