Great park. Big open hills, creek, playground. A swimming pool and small water park to cool off in. A bike and skate park and baseball field also. Free electric car charging stations as well.😎

Good place for hanging out under the sun and may be for a family outing. Right in the middle of the city makes it even better. Being nearest to the CU Boulder campus is another benefit it has. Located between the busiest streets, 30th and 28th, it makes your crossing picturesque.

Clean park & playground with beautiful views! The playground is unique and offers lots of fun climbing & exploring options. The main structure itself is probably best for bigger kids; it's a bit high and exposed for toddlers.

My 2yo son is really into rockets. We were able to help him get to the top no problem. He had the best time, the other play equipment was great too! All of my three children had a wonderful time! Also there is a skatepark and pool right next to it!

I really dig this park: big hill to sled down when it snows, playground is really cool, lots of room to throw a Frisbee, good running trails, and has a bridge that has a nice stream running next to it. Definitely a nice plane to spend an afternoon.

I had a fantastic time with my kids at the park in Boulder, featuring a unique rocket tower for climbing. This one-of-a-kind attraction added an exciting twist to our visit. The park itself is newly renovated, offering a fresh and inviting environment for children to explore and play. One of the standout features is the rocket tower, which immediately captured my kids' imaginations. They couldn't wait to climb it and pretend they were astronauts on an adventure to the stars. The tower is not only a fun play structure but also an excellent way for kids to build strength and coordination. Besides the rocket tower, the park boasts a range of modern play equipment that kept my children entertained for hours. From swings to slides and interactive play areas, there was something for kids of all ages to enjoy. What makes this park even more appealing is its location next to a beautiful green space. It's the perfect spot for a picnic, a game of frisbee, or simply lounging in the shade while watching your children play. The proximity to a swimming pool next door is another bonus, making it easy to cool off on hot summer days. Overall, this kids' park in Boulder is a must-visit for families. The combination of the original rocket tower, new playground equipment, nearby green space, and a swimming pool next door creates a delightful and memorable experience for kids and parents alike. It's become a go-to spot for my family whenever we're visiting their uncle in Boulder.

Sensational public aquatic center with a very pretty and very large lap pool, a leisure pool with many fun features for all ages, architect-engineered shower and locker rooms and a very creative snack bar menu. Many big trees inside provide natural shade on these hot summer days. Very friendly and professionally-staffed. Expansive hours. Affordable.

Love this place. We live a minute walk from this place. Absolutely awesome park. Great for dogs, families, picnics and more! Wonderful place to fly a kite. Sit by the river, set up a hammock by the river. Just a wonderful all-around place my favorite park in Boulder.

Great park but the playground equipment is a little advanced for a 3 year old. Still, there's more than enough for them to do with some help from a guardian.

My 3 year old son loves the rocket ship as much as I did growing up in this games Boulder park!

Fond memories at this icon of a park! Definitely check it out one time in your life, it’s so different from your “run of the mill” outdoor recreational area. Scott Carpenter provides so much more entertainment than any other park in the city with it’s layout and vast greenery; there’s plenty of opportunity to have heartwarming moments here.

Awesome park still as always! I learned how to swim, bike, swing, and fish all from this park. Great place to just hang out and watch the clouds, fly a kite, or just bring the kiddos to have fun on the big red rocket 🚀 #TRUENATIVE #BOULDERCO #SCOTTY'S

Scott Carpenter Park is in the center of the city. There is a baseball ground, a public swimming pool, children's park, open space for playing games or fetch with a dog. The childrens park has been renovated recently and has excellent slides, swing and other playing equipment for kids of different ages. The swimming pool opens in the spring / summer time and has slides, tubes, splash, diving for kids and adults. There is a competitive pool as well.

One of my favorite places to go since I was a child. They are redoing the playground right now, but they are keeping the rocket that's been there since the 70's. A Boulder iconic visit must. Also a fantastic skate park and swimming pool.
