Best park I’ve been to in Colorado. It feels like a hidden gem. I was truly blown away by the beauty in this park and it made it clear why Boulder is such a desirable place to live. Quiet and away from the chaos of downtown, it really felt magical. Pictures don’t do it justice. Also, there were goats!

Amazing park with a jigsaw puzzle view. Public bathrooms, park workout stuff A cool bridge to walk over a tunnel of trees when bloomed.

A simple but fun little disc golf course. 9 holes with two baskets each, red and yellow, for a round of 18. A few longer open shots paired with a few more technical shots that make the best use of trees and elevation.

BEST PARK IN BOULDER!!! My husband & I love Harlow Platta Community Park! What’s not to love...there’s a Rec center, tennis courts, bike & walking path around a mini lake, and our favorite...a 9 round disc golf course with the best view of the flat irons! This park always makes my afternoons brighter. What a gorgeous treasure and one of my favorite spots in all of Boulder!

Perfect place for a picnic or other family outing. Stroll around the lake, play in the well-designed play area, or just lounge in the grass or at one of the covered picnic tables.

Pretty park, loads of green and soft grass, with two really quite pretty ponds/lakes. It was a great place for a cross country race, though parking was a little hard.

Viele Lake in Harlow Platts Community Park (sometimes referred to as "Goose Poop Park") is scenic. Gorgeous homes and Fairview High School encircle the lake complete with a backdrop of mountains. It's walkable in the winter because the path gets plowed.

Beautiful, well maintained park. Lake has a nice walkway all around. Disc golf course is simple with few obstacles. A lot of geese around that weren't afraid of people. Only downside was the droppings everywhere.

Very nice disc golf course. Great for beginners and intermediate players. Awesome views. My new favorite!

I come here for the great little disc golf course. That now have two baskets for all 9 holes to make it a full 18! Very pretty views of the Flatirons. There are a ton of other amenities from a rec center to walking paths, picnic areas, outdoor tennis courts. Nice park for sure.

It’s the nicest park in Boulder to take my daughter these days! Plus waking around the lake is a simple fun way to get some steps in outside

This place was recommended to us by a local and for good reason! Beautiful park with a gorgeous lake, a nice wraparound path, and a playground for the kids. There's even a bridge to walk over that is also scenic. It's a bit small but that's relative to other large Colorado parks and not a reason to go elsewhere. Worth a stop if you're in the area for sure!

Great views of the Flatirons while playing disc golf. Nice trail around the lake and plenty of picnic spots. Playground also.
