Where to Begin? We had the trip of a Lifetime for our first visit to Italy! It was all because of our Travel Agent, Giulia! We worked with her over a few months to craft the best possible trip tailored to our requests and desires. Everything Giulia recommended and set up for our trip went off with out a hitch! We visited Rome, Venice and Lake Como! It was a great combination of wonderful places to sample some of the best sites, food, wine and excursions that Italy has to offer! The tours, hotels and transportation while in country were all top notch--all thanks to Giulia! Thanks Giulia!! We will be coming back soon! Ciao!

Add-on review for Kimkim in Morocco Kimkim’s travel specialist in Morocco, Hakim Alibouche, just hit the “exceeded expectations by a lot” button on a trip I took to Morocco over 2 months ago ( March 20-April 5). I recently wrote that he assisted my travel partner and me to create a great itinerary and experience in Morocco. Everything went well and he was always available to respond to any questions or concerns that we had during the planning and then during the trip itself. However his service, and Kimkim’s by extension, also shone after we returned home. We recently found there was a serious problem with a Moroccan vendor’s products we had purchased. After going back-and-forth with the vendor we turned to Hakim for advice on how to get to a satisfactory resolution. He stepped in to help and got it all worked out in very short order. I wouldn’t have expected that assistance from a travel agent once the trip was over, and I am so grateful that Hakim was willing to help us. I don’t know if I’ll have the opportunity to return to Morocco but if I do, I know that Hakim and Kimkim will be my travel planning choice. See Morocco with Kimkim Kimkim created and executed a Moroccan trip for my travel partner and I that was unforgettable. We first planned the trip in 2019 for March 2020 travel. COVID changed all that but Kimkim, Hakim in particular, stuck with us for the next 3 years as we rescheduled several times only to postpone until this past March. Hakim’s service was stellar: informative, responsive, reliable, patient—and whatever other positive adjective could be applied to a travel professional. Hakim and Kimkim were also available to us throughout the trip-proactively checking in or responding quickly to any questions we had. The other notable representative of Kimkim’s excellent service was our driver throughout the trip, Mohamed. From start to finish he ensured we were well-looked after. Another set of adjectives: great driver, accommodating, helpful, accessible 24/7, well-informed, friendly; equal parts driver and general guide. We were very fortunate to have had his services. The itinerary Kimkim created was also a treat. I experienced mountains, cities, villages, desert areas that were fun and/or eye-opening. Food was fabulous throughout. The various tagines and pastillas were so special, as were the breakfast spreads. The guides provided had deep knowledge of each leg of the trip-both historical and cultural. Accommodations ranged from charmingly rustic to very high-end with the Riads being especially wonderful. My only note on the Riad is to expect to climb lots of stairs. My 72-year old legs were a bit challenged by 3 and 4 flights. However the Riad experience is absolutely necessary! All the stops were terrific, but I’d say a “not-to-be-missed” experience is the medina in Marrakech at night. It comes to high-intensity life with scores of food stalls (pick the meats and veggies for your meal and watch them being cooked right there), musicians, drum circles, snake charmers, dancers, henna tattoers and more all in motion. It was a truly magical trip!

We had no idea what to expect using a service that independently planned transportation to, and separate tours in cities we were visiting. We were a bit nervous: Would the drivers show up; would the hotels have our reservations? In the end, this was a perfectly executed tour, with good (one remarkable) hotels, great guides, timely and efficient drivers, and lots of help making restaurant reservations and meeting other needs (including patient reassurance.) We will use this service again and recommend it heartily to everyone.

I will certainly use kimkim travel again. I had no clue what to do in Iceland and Caroline made our trip so memorable from all the information and options of activities, that we already want to go back! It was well worth using this service since I had not been to Iceland before. I know we would not have done half the things we did if I tried to figure it out on my own.

For someone who has so much anxiety - travelling alone can be very stressful and scary! I thought joining a group tour with set destinations with the same people was a great idea. When the tour got cancelled I was ready to postpone it to another year until I came across The Kimkim Team. I sent an inquiry then a representative called to get more information of my interest so they can connect me with a local agent. Everything was seamless and fast and easy. I was connected to Rebecca just in time when the plane fare from Canada was on sale. Asked Rebecca to work with my dates with the wishlists that I gave. Impressively Rebecca came back within 48 hours with a very detailed itinerary with suggestions for activities that can be customized to my liking. That was mid March 2022 and I left for Greece on May 6, 2022. All were perfectly executed! I just came back from Greece a week ago and it was everything I could hope for. As a first time solo traveller I was not scared. First I have Rebecca to support me whenever I have questions or doubts in my trips and there were many calls and she was always there even to the last activity where I was supposed to do a hike but due to blisters I got from another hike - Rebecca was able to find a solution so I can still see Balos beach without hiking. The team she had organized for me were all professionals and each one of them has exceeded my expectations even when I request something like take me to restaurants where the locals go. Thank you Kimkim team and Rebecca for my unforgettable bucketlist trip on my own!

I had previously used kimkim for adventure travel in the Altai Mountain Region of Western Mongolia, so I knew their value and attention to tailoring each trip for my personal taste. kimkim didn’t disappoint. From our first emails about our Icelandic road trip to the last minute changes and concierge style help in-country, I wholeheartedly recommend their service if you’re planning a trip to Iceland. They picked hotels and guest house stays that offered us value and style, and worked in every stop we had on our must see list (black sand beaches, hiking, waterfalls, glaciers, great restaurants, and hot springs, lots and lots of hot springs), and gave us marvelous suggestions that really made for remarkable memories. They helped us, but it still felt like our trip rather than a package deal, this did not feel generic at all. Regarding cost, their fee is a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of time it would have taken us to research and book all the details they put together for us, then there was the advice on traveling in this unique country and time in all our lives.

Kimkim and our travel specialist Liz Karen planned our trip to Peru from the minute we landed to the minute we left. They picked the best of Peru with private tours, excellent adventures, and great accomodations. We left the details to them and they had everything planned perfectly. Durig our trip we never worried because everything was planned flawlessly.

Our guide's name is Hakim. I wasn’t sure at first if I wanted to book with a travel agency but after I saw the initial plan that Hakim sent over I knew that he was a professional and he was dedicated to helping us. He was able to tailor our vacation and allow it to still be within our budget. And believe me, I made so many changes and had so many requests. He set up a great trip planned and handled all of the hotels, transfers, tour guides, and gave us a list of activities to do on our free days which was a big help because if I would've tried to do it on my own I would've likely spent more money and struggled to find interesting things. One particular time that I remember that Hakim really helped me was when I wanted to have a birthday party in Rabat. I was so excited and thought that I had planned everything perfectly, but when I got there the owner of the restaurant gave me a very difficult time. I contacted Hakim and everything was immediately solved and I was able to really enjoy my day because of that. I am truly grateful for this moment because I really wanted the day to be special and at the beginning, it seemed that everything was going wrong but Hakim made sure everything was perfect! After my trip to Morocco, I planned a short trip to Spain but ended up canceling my plans and Hakim was there to assist me even though my time with kimkim was technically over. The communication was quick and I could tell that Hakim really cared about giving us a successful trip. Literally, in every message that he sent me, he reminded me that he would be happy to help me with anything and to not hesitate to contact him. I felt really valued as a customer with Hakim and he was so knowledgeable and quick to respond to anything I needed. I genuinely enjoyed my trip and I feel that Hakim helped me to have an amazing, well-needed vacation. THANK YOU HAKIM! Highly recommend!

We have a great experience working with Kim Kim and specially with Mario Fortini our guide. Mario went above and beyond, not only by booking and coordinating our trip to Italy and Greece, but also he follow up all the time in our transfers, connections and difference places we visited. Mario is a true trusted travel advisor and very knowledgeable. He truly enjoyed that we got the best out our trip and experience fully the places we visited. Mario gave us very good advise all the time and work in advance every detail that allows us to really enjoy the trip with all the family. Our trip was quite challenging, because we visited several places in the North of Italy (Milano, Torino, Portofino, Lago Di Como and the Swiss Alps) and also Greece (Athens, Mykonos and Santorini). We built beautiful memories as family and all the places are must see, but we specially enjoy Portofino, Lago Di Como, Belagio, St. Moritz (Swiss Alps, Bernina Express Rail Tour, highly recommended!), Mykonos and the memorables Phira and Oia in Santorini. Among many other good things, Mario booked for us a catamaran cruise day in Santorini, highly recommended, since you enjoy the view of the cylades islands from the see, plus the captain gave us a great history lesson of Santorini and its myths, plus you are able to enjoy the great Greece cuisine on board. Thank you Mario and Kim Kim team, our trip to Italy and Greece was a blast!

Kimkim assigned Katy from Aspiring Adventures to help with our trip. She tailored our trip according to our preferences. We got Aldo Sanchez to guide us through Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Amaru village. We had a blast! We got Yuri to guide us in the Amazon jungle. We had a great time. We will definitely use Kimkim again to help us with our next adventures.

My husband Peter and I made a first time visit to South America for our honeymoon. Not knowing where to go and what to make a must see part of the trip we decided to book our trip through a Travel Agency. We found Kimkim and after reviewing other reviews we decided to go with them. I am so pleased that we did!! Our Travel Agent was Emilce who I believe is from Argentina. She did an amazing job putting together our itinerary with domestic travel, accommodations, and tours/activities. We had a 11day/10night vacation that involved 3 destinations. Emilce was very patient and in consistent communication with us as we made adjustments to our itinerary that better suited the experience that we were looking for during our special celebration trip. She really made the planning experience pleasant by always being quick to answer our questions and make the requested adjustments. Regarding the travel experience itself: We felt well taken care of: We traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina; Iguacu Falls, Argentina; and Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Each local point of contact was present and in consistent contact prior, during, and at the end of the local destination visit. We felt taken care of specifically by Andrea & Fabio in BA; Lorienna, Junior, and Ernesto in Iguazu Falls and by Oscelea & Marsha in Rio. Our overall trip concierge was Clementina and she made sure that we had all of our trip update information for our domestic travel, Covid requirements and some suggestions for extra thing that we could do in each city. We truly enjoyed our stay in Buenos Aires, Iguacu Falls and Rio de Janiero and believe that this was made possible by the diligent, detail focused and professional skills of all staff of Kimkim and their relationship with the local tourism companies that they work with. Peter and I have memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and only have great things to say about our experience on our honeymoon. Gracias KimKim Staff and all the hotel staff, tour guides and drives! 5stars all around for the entire trip!!!

My husband and I had SUCH a great time in Croatia and a wonderful experience with our specialist, Robert! He accommodated our requests every step of the way, adjusting our plan several times to reflect our preferences, and we ended up with an itinerary full of hiking in beautiful places, gorgeous beaches and incredible cities full of history. Robert also met with us in person in our arrival city and went over all aspects of the itinerary on the first day, a really nice personal touch! Some of the highlights for us were the incredible tour guides Robert connected us to in both Split and Dubrovnik, hiking in Plitvice Lakes National Park, and wine tasting on the Peljesac Peninsula. Best of all, everything was so EASY- every time we had a question, from where to eat in each place to what do if there was bad weather, we were able to communicate with Robert on WhatsApp and get the answers we needed really quickly. Overall, it was a fantastic and stress-free trip. Thanks so much Robert & kimkim!

It was a great pleasure working with Daiana. She replied to all my questions throughout the planning phase and helped me customize my trip. I will give her a wave on top of the 5 star rating. Atacama: 1) Our private guides Alejandra, Frank, and Javier (driving us) to the Moon and Mars Valley and the Rainbow Valley were absolutely fantastic. They had the passion and experience to match that of ours. They took pleasure answering our questions or even look up the internet to do so. 2) The group tour guides for the Cejar Lagoon and Tatio Geysers were great too but were not of the same quality as those on our private trips. They were friendly an responsive though. Although not too knowledgeable about the geology and scientific facts that they were explaining. 3) Star grazing was out of the world, I wish we could do more. 4) Location of the Hotel, friendliness of staff, proximity to major restaurants an town center was great. Easter Island: 1) Stunning group tours at Easter Island. Great organization, improvisation when it started raining to add two trips into one helped us see everything planned. 2) Durande (might be butchering his name), our tour guide was a native Rapa Nui with the great depth and breadth of knowledge that impressed us. 3) Private tour to watch sunset at Tahai need not be a guided tour. All we needed is a vehicle to go to the spot. The tour guide was friendly and did his job, but there were not much to guide. 4) Location of the Hotel was too far from the town center. I would recommend giving us a choice even that makes a price difference. One option should be near town center or near beach the other option could be the one where we stayed. Overall a 5 Star experience. Appreciate Daiana's willingness to help, good organization of the tours, and reasonably priced for the value we got. Will highly recomment Kimkim and Say Hueque and will use them for our next trip to South America.

We just got back and we had a great vacation. It was just the right amount of time and travel. It was very easy to navigate Iceland thanks to your navigation and picks. Hotels Hotel 1001 5 stars the best place. Great food and room the folks were very friendly. Staying there 2 nights was great. Lots to see on side trips. Lilja Guesthouse - 3 stars. room was good breakfast was good. Not very friendly. Hotel Katia - 2 stars Hotel looked nice but they stuck us in a small off building not in the main lodge. It was old and tiered. The breakfast was amazing as was dinner. Would be 5 stars if better room. Iceland Hotel Fludir 4 stars Nice place food was very good. They did not have our reservation and gave us a little hard time, but they figured it out. Hotel Fron. Great location but no where to park they said their garage was full and we had to park on the street and pay. I had to get up early to go plug the meter. 3 stars.. Because of parking and the breakfast was modest and ended right at 9:30. We loved the two trips you offered and most of the stops you suggested.. We are very pleased with all that you did. Thank you.. We are looking at Japan now with you for next year.

This for me was a trip of a life time which was a total of 18 days with my daughter celebrating her graduation from High School. Kim Kim handled our 7 days in Peru and 11 days in Colombia. The time in Peru was magical. The highlight of the entire trip was Alexandra who was our guide in Peru for 2 days. I've been traveling for 20 years on international trips and Alexandra was by far the best guide i've ever encountered. Her ability to interact with myself and my daughter was wonderful as she relayed to us the customs of local people and the influence of Inca culture. Her ability to recant history and it's influence on previous cultures and current live styles of those who choose a modern path along with those who desire to live an indigenous lifestyle of the past. She was funny, engaging, caring, recommending places to eat and sites to see later when the guided tours were over enhanced out time substantially. Alexandra was more than a guide, she became a life long friend. We loved everything about our trip to Peru. Kim Kim hit a home run in our book. I will be back!

Milenka was great and we had an awesome trip. We are 3 adults in our 30s and we really loved our time in the Pampas we stayed in Mashapique Eco Lodge and had an awesome guide named Wilman! Death Road, Tocana Coca Village, La Paz and Coroico, were soooo nice. Our guide in La Paz area David was THE BEST. We also loved seeing the Salt Flats and Desert. The one issue here was that our guide Jaime in the Uyuni area really wasn't good. He rushed us and didn't really explain things well and was just not fun. Milenka explained that he is not usually the guide they use though. Just our guide had an emergency at the last second. Overall we had a great and awesome experience. Highly recommend Milenka and KimKim

We had a really wonderful time in Myanmar, the country and people are beautiful and the food was simply delicious. Like others we were used to travelling independently and haven't used an agent before but our experience with KimKim, Anne and everyone at Myanmar Pure couldn't be faulted. We were able to see/do so much more based on their advice visiting Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan, Kalaw and Inle and places in between. We travelled with our 2 year old and everyone went the extra mile to accommodate his extra needs providing car and bike seats, beautifully made up cots, flexibility in trip timing and a variety of travel/activities from air, bike, boat, horse to car and train. Our guides Min, Nay, Arkar, Wai and were all incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Having spent many years living and travelling in Asia this was still a fabulously different experience. I have told as many people as I can about visiting Myanmar and using Anne and her team - thank you!! xx

Literally the best travel experience we have ever had. My family travels internationally a lot and using kimkim has changed our life. We will 120% be using kimkim again the next time we go anywhere. With their help we were able to plan the most amazing trip to Ecuador!

The kimkim Team did such a great job planning our honeymoon trip! Brahim was very much on top of things, super organized and responsive. He sent me all necessary information ahead of time and curated a tour that matched exactly what we wanted. Communication and planning was absolutely flawless. Our tour guide and driver, Mohammad was such a joy to spend time with, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. We spent about 4 days with him and he was super knowledgeable about everything we visited and knew all the great restaurants to take us. He was very enjoyable to speak with during our trip and extremely accommodating. Our honeymoon trip could not have been better - we toured museums, we drove through the beautiful Atlas Mountains, we rode camels and slept underneath the Milky Way in the Sahara Desert! Our time in Morocco was a success thanks to the kimkim Team, Brahim and Mohammad!

Josee spent a lot of time with me before we had the travel plan finalized. She is very professional and details oriented. Everything is perfect. The locations of the hotel at Paris and Nice are great Both are in the center of cities and close to metro stations. The day trips are well planned and they are small group tour which is about 8-9 people. The drivers are very nice and always on time. We had a great time in Paris and Nice. Thank you Josee!

We booked custom, complex trips to Columbia and Ecuador through Kimkim. Both went great, the agents were excellent at shaping our itineraries with us and when we had guides they were top notch and English speaking. We'll probably keep coming back to Kimkim for international trips, the help makes planning way easier, the agents were great and easy to work with, and the total costs were comparable to if we had booked everything on our own. It seems very possible to book both great budget travel as well as lavish luxury vacations with Kimkim--both of our trips had budget elements with occasional fanciness. The network of agents seems deep and flexible to different kinds of travelers.

We had the most incredible 2 week honeymoon in Ecuador!! Linda did an amazing job putting together an unforgettable trip! Everything is so much more enjoyable when transports are taken care of and they really only use the best of the best! Every hotel, excursion, and guide were way above and beyond what we expected! Ecuador is such a beautiful and unbelievably diverse country that without Linda and kimkim we definitely wouldn't have been able have put such an incredible trip together! Thanks again to everyone involved! 🥰

When setting out to plan our honeymoon we ran across Kimkim. Having never heard of it before we were a bit skeptical, but we are so glad we did some research and committed! Having someone on your side to book events and offer optional sightseeing advice was amazing. With our busy schedules we would have never had the time to research Iceland in this depth. SilvĂa was amazing in helping to plan our trip, as well as with helping coordinate several last minute changes during our trip. Because of her invaluable help, we were able to see everything we hoped for and many places we would have otherwise missed.

This was an amazing adventure! We especially enjoyed all the interesting hotels we stayed along the way. A highlight to the trip was exploring the Ijen Crater and seeing Komodo dragons. The food experience was wonderful! All our guides were helpful. This was perfect for our honeymoon in Indonesia! All the hotels were perfect for our preferences. Pick-ups were timely. I would highly recommend utilizing kimkim for anyone considering a trip to Indonesia!

We used kimkim to find out wonderful travel agent Rita at Espiritu. She planned us the most amazing 1 week adventure in Portugal. We did a private tour and she booked us accommodations at boutique hotels that were outstanding. Each day we had a different guide for that area who was personable and knowledgeable. The guides tailored our experience to meet our needs. The communication and response time throughout was impressive. They even worked with us on a Sunday when we needed to make some trip changes. I am so glad I found kimkim and will use them again for future vacations.

KimKim was wonderful to work with in planning our trip to the Galapagos, from start to finish. This was our first real trip planned by them, and we were very favorably impressed. They are so easy to work with, and there is never any pressure to do anything you do not want to do. You tell them what you want, they create a plan; you tweak it as much as you want, and the do all the leg work! They are in constant contact with you and that is so comforting when traveling in an unfamiliar area. We will definitely use KimKim again!

We used them for a trip to Iceland. Our consultant, Duncan, was fantastic. He planned a 10 day trip that was amazing for my family of four. I so appreciated not having to take care of anything other than dinner reservations. I will absolutely use them again. I hate traveling with groups, but I also don’t always like to plan my own trips. This was the perfect solution. I also love that they use companies within the country where you’re traveling to book most of the experiences. This keeps the money in the country.

My husband and I are very happy with the trip we took to Costa Rica. It was such an amazing experience. We did variety of tours that included waterfalls, volcano hike, thermal pool day pass, lots of rainforest walks with plenty of animals to see, beach time. We had great experiences with the tours, very knowledgeable tour guides that made the tours fun. Hotels that we choose were also pretty good with tasty food options and free breakfast. I love about Kimkim how they planned the trip for us. From the beginning they answered my questions, were very responsive, made adjustments based on our budget and requests, made recommendations to what tour to choose and when. Able to answer questions about the country such as currency, charging ports, weather. Very knowledgeable in trip planning. I would book a trip with them again. It’s worth the money.

Had a really great experience with KimKim. They organized a tailor-made voyage around Norway. They were able to book wonderful activities for me, always with small groups (which made the experience all the more personal). They also booked all my transportation means, which made the whole journey seamless and easy. I hope to do another trip soon.

Kim Kim review As our family of four began international travel, I enjoyed planning our trips, but after 3 major trips, I just didn’t want to spend the nights and weekend hours it was taking me to scour online reviews, study maps, plot out our itinerary, and figure out local transportation. So we went to a local travel agency and while the experience was “fine” - all the agent did was hand us a catalog and then took our payment. She couldn’t answer any of our questions about the destination because she had never been there and we were a little uneasy about the possibility of being lumped in with a larger group for the entire trip. In the meantime, a friend told me about KimKim, mentioning that the platform caters to independent travelers, can work with all budgets, and uses in-region travel specialists. I decided to try it for our family’s 9 day trip to Thailand. From the beginning, I was hooked! Our travel specialist, Ha, helped us ensure accommodations would work for our 12 and 17 year-olds, and she made suggestions on age appropriate activities. We know from experience that it can be very disappointing to show up and find that our children are too young to participate in an activity. Ha made sure that didn’t happen! She also made arrangements when we wanted to add a local music and dance performance to our itinerary. We pack light and I’m always worried about laundry options - Ha figured that out for us too. Have I mentioned how many hours I have spent messaging hotels to figure out ahead of time if we would be able to have laundry done in our needed time frame?! The entire trip was amazing - from our local guides, to our unique accommodations, we were thrilled. On top of that, all the handoffs were seamless - from transportation to accommodations to guides, I joked that it worked “automagically”. I appreciated the details and handoffs especially because inevitably when planning a trip myself I would make a mistake on a date or a time or a vendor would fall thru - in the case of our KimKim planned trip, none of that happened! In one minor situation - our driver was late - the KimKim hotline coordinated communication so that we knew it was on track. You all have found the sweet spot for modern travel planning and we will be using KimKim for all our family trips!

Everything about my experience with Kimkim was fantastic! From all the help with the advance planning; tour recommendations (loved very tour that was suggested); and the local representatives. I had never used an outside agency to assist with a trip, but I would highly recommend working with Kimkim especially if travelling to Croatia!

Fabulous and Memorable Trip in Myanmar - Nov 13 to Nov 25, 2019 Anne did an amazing job arranging everything possible for us to to do especially with my disability and my Mom knee problem. She was easy to work with and took care of every detail we requested. She even went to check the hotels and bathrooms to make sure it was easy access for us in Pyin Oo Lwin. We had a great pleasure of meeting Anne in Mandalay. When she found out I was sick in the late evening from cold and cough. She went and bought medications and dropped it off for me at the hotel in Mandalay. After a few days when we were leaving Mandalay for Bagan I dropped one of my medication in the car in Mandalay. When she found out I dropped my medication. She asked the guide to look for the medication for me in Bagan. When he couldn't find the medication. She went and bought the medication in Mandalay and asked bus leaving for Bagan to dropped it off for me. I have travelled a lot and I have never had such a great agent like Anne who so kind, caring and took such of care me and didn't even let me pay for the medicaions. We had a fabulous time in Myanmar. We love the country, the people and the delicious food. Some of our highlights are the beautiful Shwedagon Pagados in Yangon, Hsinbyume Pagoda and Jade Pagoda in Mandalay, Pindya Caves and Inle Lake, Sunset in Bagan and Mandalay Hill, home cooked meals by locals and home cooking class with May. All our guides Ye Thura, San Htun, Akar Soe and Aung Naing Thu were all excellent and knowledgeable. The guides and drivers especially Coair our driver from Mandalay took very good care of us. Chay-tzoo-tin-bah-teh(Thank you) Anne and your team for providing us such fabulous and memoralble trip for us. Helen and Regina

We had a amazing trip and felt very supported during the entire journey. I normally like to plan all of the details of a trip, but there is definitely a positive and advantage to have the assistance that KimKim provided. I'll surely use their services again.

We loved our Moroccan trip with KimKim. Organising the itinerary was easy with Sharon as she was flexible and responsive to our timelines and special interests. We were pleased to see Hicham at the arrivals gate because I had read in reviews that he was a great guide and driver and that turned out to be spot on correct. We may have driven him mad with all our questions (sorry Hicham) but he was at all time super professional and such a great calm driver in the sometimes not so calm traffic. We are usually independent travellers and don't use organised travel like this, but for a variety of reasons this way suited us better this trip. We're not big tour group people so we loved the personal insight into Morocco that travelling this way provided. The guides at the attractions were all great, different and really interesting. Their high level of English helped us understand the history and pride in their family, culture, history and country. Trekking into the desert on camels and 'freezing our bits off' in the Sahara was an invigorating highlight and we loved it so much. We gained so much respect, knowledge and understanding for the Berber people and their history and culture ( thanks again Hicham and guides). It would have been possible for us to travel through Morocco with a guide book and just read stuff but we are so glad we travelled with KimKim instead. Our trip was rich and rewarding and we have developed a deep affection for Morocco and its gentle people. Thanks everyone who made it happen so seamlessly ( especially the last minute travel/accommodation change so we could meet our flight with more ease). Best wishes Sharon, Hicham and the KimKim Moroccan team.

We enjoyed 10 days in Spain, traveling to Madrid, Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Barcelona. It was a perfect trip organized by Patricia from the company Your Trip to Spain. She took care of every detail, hotels, drivers, train and domestic plane tickets, as well as all the local guides in each city. She provided us with wonderful recommendations such as side trips and even a flamenco show in Seville, which was so entertaining. If you like to travel independently but would like someone to take care of all the details, such as finding hotels, transportation and local guides who come right to your hotel, this is the perfect way to arrange that trip. I highly recommend Kimkim to direct you to the best travel agent. I would definitely use them to organize my next trip.

Created an amazing itinerary for us to see the best sights in and around Auckland, NZ, for a 7 day trip! This was the second time we've used KimKim and would definitely use again - they are incredible!

I used Kimkim to book a trip to Peru. It was a fantastic experience and I would use them again for other trips in a second. The guides provided, especially for the Cusco/ Machu Picchu portion of our trip, Cesar Surco, was absolutely phenomenal. I can't say enough about him and Anne who did all the planning with the local company Peruvian Soul.

A great and easy to use service that really helps you to plan the perfect vacation. Don't do it yourself. Use Kimkim to find a professional who knows the ins and outs of where you're going and can help you easily build a fantastic trip. Our specialist, Valentina, understood our needs and preferences and planned our perfect trip to Italy. And as we traveled, Valentina was always there with helpful suggestions or to troubleshoot any problems (we didn't really have any).

We just returned from a KimKim organized trip for 12 days in Costa Rica. It was very well executed and all the advice given as we planned the trip was excellent. Two thumbs up to the KimKim team to make a customized trip within our budget that met all our interests and needs.

Kimkim has identified stellar in-country operators. They work with those operators to identify what most interests you. The operator then crafts a customized trip you will long remember. Thumbs up from these seasoned travelers.

Kimkim was very accommodating with our add on plans and changes. Overall the trip was great with the exception of one guide putting us in a deadly situation. Please be aware they use freelance guides that may or may not know of what may be safe or not. We were lucky to survive an electrical storm that included me being struck with an electric force which my doctor says was lightning and should have used our own best judgment instead of relying on our guide to assume he knows safety protocol. We were not familiar with our surroundings or the severity of the local weather phenomenon.

This was our 2nd time using Kim Kim for international travel (this time Bolivia) & we were very satisfied again. Milenka was very helpful in building the itinerary we requested & was also very flexible when we needed to make modifications mid trip. The local guides were all exceptional, bringing their expertise & knowledge of the area, as well as warm & welcoming personalities. The accommodations & activities all met or exceeded our expectations. We would definitely consider using Kim Kim again for a unique travel experience. Regards, Darina & Tim Bellman

Overall really solid job with the trip planning and execution from the KimKim team for my time in Norway and happy with their service - I would recommend it to others. (I worked with Andre and Ingrid.) I booked on short notice and they were able to turnaround a fun, cost-effective, well-organized trip built around the input I provided (interests, timeframe, preferences, etc.) Pre-trip communication was timely and thorough, they were quick to adapt activities based on seasonanilty and want made sense with thoughtful recommednations. Covered a ton of ground and saw a wonderful mix of natural and urban sites and activities in a Wednesday to Sunday window. Though not significant enough to dock the ratings relative to all the wonderful things provided with the trip, the criticism I'll highlight is to provide more detail around some of the transportation for future trips with the below examples in mind for mine that were pain points: 1) "At 17:00 the transport to Aurland will pick you up from the Flam station (same place you arrived by train)": Didn't have any detail around which company and/or individual this was, any contacts for them, or what I should be looking for which would have been helpful. Eventually asked around and was able to find the cab driver that had been booked by asking various people in the train station lot if they were there for a , but we were both waiting for each other for awhile and eventually asked if he was there for a pick-up. 2) "You'll catch the five-hour ferry to Bergen through the stunning Sognefjord, arriving to the city in the evening." Ticket had a company name [Norled] and route cities listed, but no clear instructions on where to pick up the ferry in a city with extensive feasible port locations. (Booking company [Norled] was closed on the weekends for the departure day and no contacts were available here.) This was a stressful scramble when asking a dozen locals (including the hotel) were unable to help direct me to where I'd need to be to board the ferry based on the information provided. Ended up walking along a dangerous one-way road with my luggage before eventually hitch-hiking with a local that was more familiar with the ferry system and just making the ferry in time because of it. Situation was panicked and making my flight home would have been difficult with few alternatives if I hadn't gotten lucky finding a friendly local here to help me out in a significant way. Reached out to KimKim here, they weren't available immediately when the need was urgent, but they did eventually get back to me in a pretty quick turnaround that would have been otherwise fully acceptable had it not been an immediate need. Otherwise, found the activities to be great, accomodations reasonable (and close to transportation), and trip thoughtfully planned/enjoyable at a solid rate. Enjoyed my time in Norway with a lot of special experiences that would be difficult to find without KimKim's service. The reps were knowledgable, kind, and thoughtful and would be a returning user after my first experience with them.

When I was planning a trip to Norway for a mid-March Nordic ski race, my family (with two teen kids) knew we wanted to see more than the area between Rena and Lillehammer but didn't know anything about Norway or where to begin. I trusted the local knowledge of Vilde and Ingrid to make a recommendation for what more we should see in the time we had and without a car. The trip completely exceeded my expectations! Several friends joined in after they heard the trip plan. We had excellent easy travel and a lot of fun. Ingrid chose super hotels and made reservations or provided directions for train and bus travel that was simple and perfect with many highlights. Stig was our excellent local guide in Oslo who told us about music, local culture, and a little history as we walked along the Akserselva River, urban art district, the fortress, and metropolitan downtown on a rainy day. The train to Flam was a magic ride the next day with blue skies and views of mountains, frozen waterfalls, plus beautiful towns, homes and farms going from snow up high down to the Naeroyfjord arm of the Sognefjord. We had a full moon that night at our both historic and modern hotel in Auerland and enjoyed a cruise on the electric Future of the Fjords sightseeing vessel. Ingrid was flexible to help us decide where to go at this point and four friends decided to ski an extra day in Geilo while my family continued on to Bergen. We were impressed by the completely different look and culture of Bergen. Our local guide David helped us know so much more about where to go and interpreted what we saw in his beautiful city as well as gave us a feel for how Norwegians live. We had so much fun with David that we went over our time more than an hour. Geilo was our last place to explore with downhill resorts on two sides of the city and lots of Nordic trails. On a sunny but windy day, we caught the ski bus, rented average quality downhill ski equipment, and bought a ski pass that worked at both Slaatta and Vestlia. Our friends enjoyed the ski tracks there for Nordic skiing. Overall, the best things about Norway were the scenery, the breakfasts so do opt into breakfast at the hotel, interesting history and the happy people. Ingrid was our best find since she reserved the best places to go and stay and gave us detailed directions on how to get around. Her directions were so good there were only a couple occasions I messaged her with questions and she helped right away. Ingrid also was able to reschedule a hotel stay for two friends who left a bag on the train from Lillehammer and were able to retrieve it in lost and found in the morning just before our flight home. I would not have changed anything about what Ingrid planned for us except maybe staying more days! We enjoyed a "God Tur" and I am grateful.

Tamara and WhyJordan? gave us a magnificent vacation in Jordan. It's hard to know where to start because everything from planning to our trip was so seamless, and beyond our expectations. As the 6 of us requested, this was a truly 5* trip from airport pick-up, to hotels, to excursions & experiences. Tamara chose 3 top hotels and we loved them all. Mohamed our driver throughout the trip listened and reacted to us, and made sure we had fun and learned. When my husband fell ill, Mohamed's care and actions felt like family and one night's adjustments went smoothly - he then got us back on track by morning and we didn't miss anything. The next day, Mohamed from WhyJordan? headquarters made a special visit, meeting us at the hotel, spending 1/2 an hour checking up on us and making sure our journey would be perfect, and it was. By the way, not only is Tamara's choice of the Movinpick Petra a lovely hotel, but it's literally at the entrance to Petra- like just across the street!! With just 6 days to spend in Jordan, we got to do everything we hoped we would. A day relaxing in the Intercontinental Amman was followed by an amazing private tour of Jerash, followed by a trip along the King's Highway. WhyJordan's guide in Jerash was excellent - such an important element. It's hard to pick a highlight, but it would likely be the day that WhyJordan's hand picked guide, Moath took us on a journey in Petra. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Moath will always have a place in my husband & my hearts. We off-roaded to the back entrance of Petra. A freak spring hale and thunder storm made conditions rough. Their driver loaned me his own coat (3rd layer for me), and with Moath's quiet confidence, we took off. Dave and I learned so much about Bedouins and the long history of Petra. Moath helped us climb and climb to heights we never would have imagined, but his demeanor and fascinating anecdotes gave us confidence. We met lovely people along the way, and learned a lot. The weather challenges became fun- a 2nd thunder & hale storm actually caused Petra to close (nobody could enter), so, Moath helped us secure a camel caravan, he jumped on the front camel, and we rode through the flood, through the gorgeous rock formations and had yet another unique experience. We are not roughing-it people, and when Tamara 1st suggested camping in Wade Rum, I thought she was crazy, until she gently suggested I check out Memories Aicha Luxury Camp . Wow-oh-wow. Do it! We all stayed in "Martian" tents (full in-tent bathrooms, view of stars and mountains, etc). As soon as we checked in, the 6 of us were in the "cave bar" sipping tea and enjoying a fire. Dinner was delicious in the pleasant dining room (note, go to JR The Wine Experience wine bar when you're in Amman and pick up Jordanian wine sto enjoy with your dinner at Aicha). The next day's 1/2 day across Wade Rum was a lot of fun. Our driver was not the best communicator, so we had to guess what many stops were, but that didn't stop us from climbing and scrambling and joyfully enjoying a place we'd never imagined before. Once again, driver Mohamed was at the ready, responding to our early call to get going. He made a special stop for us on the way to the Dead Sea, and we're still talking about standing in Acaba where we viewed the Red Sea, Egypt and Israel, while standing in Jordan. The Dead Sea, ahhhhh. The Movinpick Dead Sea is a lovely resort with multiple pools and a private beach where staff helps you get in and out of the Dead Sea. Rooms are large and well equipped. If you're able to do 2 nights here, we certainly wish we could have, as it would have been a restful end to a lovely vacation. I can't recommend WhyJordan (through KimKim) and a Jordan vacation enough. We are grateful to Tamara, Moath, and the 2 Mohamed's for a vacation we'll always remember fondly.

Dear Anne, We had a wonderful, without any glitch, well planned Holiday in Peru. Initially we wanted to visit only Matchu Pitchu, but as we started interacting with Anne, we were encouraged to add many other places and we are glad that you suggested it! The trip was very meticulously planned and executed. Our itinerary was shared with us with all relevant details, our tickets were printed, guides arrived on time, pick up driver arrived on time and the estimation of time was correct so the we could always adhere to the timing. The best part was the Guides who were well informed and good people, who shared lot of information and gave us insight into the places as well as into other matters as well Peru is quite a large country and offers many different options. The tour generally required a reasonable fitness since on many days you end up walking quite a few kilometers The altitude issue was well planned , starting from lower to higher in gradual way which helped All in all we had a very good trip and coming all the way from India was totally worth it Thanks Anne, the support team of Peruvian Soul, Kimkim, other agencies and all Regards Manoj M Vaidya INDIA

This company took care of everything and even went so far as to send an agent to my inn with amended train tickets, trail directions and itinerary due to trail damage as a result of the typhoon. Extremely happy with this company and its agents. Hope they offer other packages as well because I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

I was very concerned when booking a tour of Morocco as I had no idea which company could be trusted and in a culture about which I knew so little. I did extensive research and I decided that Kimkim, like Tripme, coming from cultures I do understand, choose a local tour company that they have learned to trust. It seemed an extra level of insurance when sinking $6000 into a trip. I was very satisfied with both Kimkim and their chosen local company Orien Tours. I would definitely book through them again when travelling to parts of the world where ai have little knowledge.

Came upon Kimkim while planning a trip to UK . Was overwhelmed with choices and booking a million things on line. Kimkim put us in touch with a local specialist who worked with our desired plan and produced an amazing itinerary and accomodation. She booked it all and was always easy to contact. We made one payment for the trip through Kimkim and everything worked perfectly. Fabulous itinerary and accomodation. They will ask what your budget is and choose accomodation accordingly. Made the whole planning so easy and we then just had the fun bit of researching the places we were going to.

We used KimKim to book an 8 night trip to Albania. The company they recommended was awesome! knowing we’d booked thru kimkim gave us a level of comfort with sending thousands of dollars overseas. First, Yassine, It is a marvel to us how responsive, helpful and really personally concerned you seemed to be for the complete success of our trip. We are hard pressed to think of any better experience we’ve ever had with any service provider in travel. We are deeply grateful for your help kindness and friendship Our guides were really superb, and an absolutely essential key to what was for us one of the trips of a lifetime. Yousef really did make Marrakech accessible, immediate and “real” for us. His knowledge is fast, and he shared a great deal. His handling of our food tour made for one of the most memorable nights of the trip. He is knowledgeable and friendly. Then Adile in Fes was truly a highlight of our entire trip. He is a quiet but profound master of information, history, context and at the same time an immediate and intimate part of the neighborhoods he showed to us. And he shared that intimacy with us with extreme and subtle generosity. The accommodations you found were absolutely first rate and the people running them extremely professional and helpful. Our drivers were friendly, interesting and engaging. It was an especially nice touch to have Yassine’s brother Hassan meet us in Fes with a welcome gift and careful advice about how to manage our extraordinary visit there. All in all, we could not be more happy with or grateful for your services. And we have already made what we believe will be a successful referral to you directly as soo all in all, we could not be more happy with our grateful for your services. And we have already made what we believe will be a successful referral to you directly Yassine. Thank you again

Kimkim is an amazing travel planning source. The guides make excellent suggestions and do all the legwork of planning the trip, making great selections of hotels, restaurants, guides, and experiences in each place. One still has the joy of planning a trip, but Kimkim takes the hard work of putting together all aspects of the trip together.

Ecuador, the essentials. Quito, Yasuni National Park Amazon, and Galapagos! Our 14 day vacation was exceptional from start to finish. Our trip advisor, Isabel Perez, worked with me in the months leading up to our holiday to ensure we were able to visit our 'must see' places, and also find relaxation time. Her recommendation of the Napo Cultural Centre in Yasuni was the perfect choice for us. Not only is this first class eco-lodge located in a beautiful part of the Amazon, but it is also home to the local indigenous community school, doctor's office, and cultural events. So you can interact with the local people as well as the parrots and monkeys! Then after a few days visiting more of Quito we spent 6 unforgettable days on Santa Cruz and Isabela islands. Kimkim arranged for our door to door transportation, great hotels, and unforgettable activities. We highly recommend partnering with Kimkim to ensure you have the best, seamless, and unforgettable experience in Ecuador!

This company made it possible for us to see a lot of Croatia in 8 days! Where do we start! We were feeling overwhelmed. We only had 8 days and wanted to see as much as possible. My brother contacted Kimkim and Robert got back to him immediately. Between them they crafted a trip that was one of our best ever. Don gave Robert our parameters and he flew with it, choosing the very best accommodations, organising a car rental, planning all of our transfers......... it worked like a charm, and it was all basically remote control, every evening or the day of, we got our reminder updates. Our accommodations were amazing, small (and I mean small - 3 room hotels), and absolutely charming, we never would have found them ourselves. The rental car, ferries, assorted drivers all just clicked along, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Goran ( our driver from Orbic to Ston on the Peljesac peninsula, then the next day to Dubrovnik, was a treasure. We were, as well, happy to have an opportunity to meet Robi at on of the wineries we were visiting with Gorman. This is a beautiful part of the world and given our wonderful experience with Kimkim, we would love to return to see more! Thank you! Diane Capozzi Don Myles

Our travel guide Fridur helped me plan a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Norway for me and my family. She quickly assessed what types of activities we were interested in and proposed an itinerary that perfectly met our needs. We're adventurous outdoor enthusiasts, so she tailored the Nordic Adventure for Outdoor Lovers to allow us to spend extra time in the beautiful Hardangerfjord area and to change the Trolltunga hike to the Via Ferrata + Sunset/Sunrise Combo. We had an amazing experience and look forward to going back to Norway to explore more someday. Having the kimkim team provide local expertise takes a lot of pressure off in planning travel to a new country. Definitely recommend working with them!
