    I've been going to Functional Fitness for over 4 years now. What a great find. Kaitie has been my trainer for the entire duration and she is fabulous! I've worked with a couple of other trainers & therapists at FF and they each have their own strengths. I love that it isn't rows of treadmills and stationary bikes. There is an amazing variety of equipment packed into a personal sized gym. Sam runs a great gym!

    I have worked with Colleen Glenn-Wilson for a couple of years now at Functional Fitness and she is an amazing trainer. She's very knowledgeable, a great listener, and knows when to go easy on me and when to push me to give it my all. Colleen is very dedicated to her work, which seems be both a science and an art for her. Highly recommended!

    Sam runs an amazing gym. If you are new to resistance training, recovering from an injury, or just looking for a small private gym to get your workout in, this is the place for you. The personal trainers are knowledgeable and experienced. They have in house massage and physical therapists. If you are tired of big box gyms and are ready to upgrade your workout this is the place for you. It is always spotlessly clean, the staff is friendly and attentive, and if you need personal training or physical therapy they have you covered.

    I am a CU Boulder Student and I have been working with Sam for the past 6-7 months. His knowledge, skill and personality is unmatched by any coach or trainer I have ever worked with (I played basketball my entire life). My overall athleticism, strength and health has improved greatly over my time working with him and he has taught me many important life lessons along the way. Our sessions are insightful, I work hard, and I learn something new every time, he is more than just an athletic trainer - he is a mentor and friend. If you want to improve your physical health, learn how to properly train your body and have quite a few laughs along the way there is no one better than Sam.

    I'm a senior citizen who has been working out here for four years. What I really like is that Functional Fitness tailors training to fit the needs of the client. It's not a one size fits all gym. I am walking better and have even gotten back more than half an inch in height as a result of the work I've been doing there. I'm in better condition than when I started training there. I would definitely recommend Functional Fitness.

    I've worked with the staff at Functional Fitness for a few years now. Sam Iannetta has an incredible amount of knowledge regarding mobility and fitness that he uses expertly to help get you moving properly and educated to better yourself for the rest of your life. The trainers here all work together in dealing with YOU personally so that you really get a sense that they care about your well being and physical health, never leaving you to suffer from a workout or muscular pain. The trainers and the massage therapists here also work together so should you be having difficulty with an exercise or movement, they communicate excellently together to resolve the issue and make your life better.

    I've had a great experience working with the Will the past couple of months. I was so impressed with the gait assessment and what he pointed out in terms of areas of weakness and compensation. I am not a gym girl and he has made strength training enjoyable. I leave sore in the right places and am noticing reduce hip pain and more tone already. Highly recommend!

    This is the place I would recommend to anyone working on a fitness goal, or recovering from an injury. The vibe of this gym is very inviting, professional, and unpretentious. The trainer I've been working with is extremely knowledgable and designs workouts that are right at my level while still being challenging, and are really helping me make significant progress!

    I am 64 and about to retire and decided to take steps to improve my fitness and strength so I can be as active as I wish as I start the next chapter of my life. I have been working with Liam Henderson and have really enjoyed the workout program he has developed for me. He is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. Within a short period, I already feel stronger and fully trust that I am working with the right trainer for me. I recommend him.

    I've worked with trainer Lisa Citeralla. She is so amazing. Her knowledge of body mechanics is so impressive. I worked with her to make sure I had proper form for the class Body Pump. Body Pump moves quickly from one exercise to another, and I wanted help with my form and the fast transitions. Lisa corrected my form and also gave me options to alter the exercises to accommodate me and how my muscles function. Additionally, Lisa has a massage therapy license. Again, because she understands body mechanics so well, she can massage your body with very specific end goals in mind. Definitely give Lisa a call to chat about your own goals, and go see her!

    Sam at Functional Fitness taught my husband exercises to do regularly that literally saved him from weeks of back trauma each year (it used to go out about 3 times a year and he had to stop working for a week at a time). Its been 3 years and its has never gone out again. I, personally, got the lucky chance to work with Alex for about 6 months who has helped me transform back into a strong, high-energy mommy. The vibe there is relaxed and wonderful, and the depth of knowledge unmatched.

    I’ve been going to Sam’s Functional Fitness for 4 years and have had a wonderful experience. Sam really knows what he is doing and makes an assessment of your body mechanics, strengths and weaknesses, before putting together a program that is right for you. He will change that program as your body’s needs change whether it is due to injury, illness or needing to improve in a particular sport. All the other trainers and PT’s associated with Functional Fitness are friendly and highly skilled as well. I strongly recommend Functional Fitness.

    I just had my first personal training session ever, and it was with Alex at Functional Fitness. She made the experience fun, but also gave me a good challenge! She explained and demonstrated all the exercises and motivated me to complete each set. Alex was motivating and let me help structure how I wanted to spend my hour. I would highly suggested using FF for your individual training needs!
