We had such a great time with a sightseeing trip with Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides. Brad who was our guide in this trip was so nice, polite, and informative. He was also flexible in customizing our trip plan. There were plenty of water and food that the tour prepared for us. The sandwiches were delicious and we also came across many wildlife like elk, marmot, and eagle within that eight hours!

Contacted Colorado Wilderness by phone about a multi-day guided adventure for my family (wife and three older teenagers). With a crazy year, we decided to stay in Colorado for our vacation time this year. Colorado Wilderness Rides And Guides designed us a custom six day custom backpacking three day trip and added three extra days for rafting, rock climbing, and mountain biking. Tom and Kailyn were super in communicating with us before and prior to the trip. Our guides Joshua and Alex were amazing. They went above and beyond in creating an amazing, custom and safe experience for our family. The time was important for us in bonding after a hard last year with covid and already requesting us to book another trip with you for next summer. Thank you for exceeding our expectations and taking such incredible care of our family. We will be back for sure!

Did a 5 day, 4 night backpacking trip with Will and Gabe in Rocky Mountain national park. They handled logistics, food and all the details for our large 9 person group. The trip was expertly planned, and both guides were super fun and professional. Highly recommend for anyone looking to push themselves beyond their comfort zone!

My partner and I had a wonderful time doing a half day hike and climb. Jennifer was THE BEST guide! I felt very safe with her: she was genuine and friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to and get along with. On the hike, Jen pointed out the Ponderosa Pine which I now deem my favorite tree because of the way it looks, feels, and smells (like butterscotch). On the climb, my partner and I felt totally safe and entrusted Jen and Tanner with our lives. The fact that it was our first time climbing outside made us nervios, but Jen and Tanner’s encouragement and feedback while climbing eased many of our nerves. They even showed us how to make a figure eight knot. Climbing was the highlight of our trip and it is all thanks to Jen and Tanner. These two deserve a raise ;)

Our work team had an excellent time hiking Chautaugua with Will & Jill. They were well prepared and knowledgeable of the Boulder area. This was a great way for many of us to reconnect. Many of us haven't seen each other in person for 2+ years. Thank you Colorado Wilderness Guides, we'll see you next year!

My spouse and I went on an outdoor climbing expedition and had Kristen Felix as our guide. In addition to being an excellent climber cruising through our climbs, she's knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and generally good company for a day of outdoor climbing. Kristen scoped out Boulder Canyon prior to our climbing time and was able to identify one of the few not busy areas that day, and as a result, we were able to get in a lot of climbing instead of needing to wait for other climbers. We felt totally safe the entire trip and had a great time.

This was a great experience - the highlight of our trip to Boulder. We had the best guide - Will. He kept us safe and gave us tons of pointers about how to handle specific climbs. He was extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and his efforts really elevated the experience for me and my son. I highly recommend Will and Colorado Wilderness. Thanks Will!!!

Seeing the mountains with snow and the waterfalls is beyond words-a dream come true. Taking this tour in Boulder, Colorado with Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides that gives affordable, "personalized private tours" gave us way beyond what was expected and more than we would have thought could be reasonably asked to be given. This company even asked, after we booked the tour, what things we wanted to see, also asked to know if we had any health and food restrictions. This is personal care and was so valuable - we thank this company very much for caring! Will Yermal our tour guide was also extremely careful and attentive to our needs and wants for our entire time spent on our tour and was a great pleasure. We are senior citizens and he kept watch where we were, staying close enough to help while allowing privacy and then he knew just when to join in talking with us which ended in a close feeling and so much more fun. He is also knowledgeable about the area, a skilled, safe driver and communicator, and perfectly professional while still being fun and so respectful and caring!

Will was completely awesome!!! He took us up Longs Mountain and was so knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. We had so, so, so much fun!!! He also took us mountain biking which was totally amazing. He picked just the right trail for us :) He was very professional and flexible and accommodating. Great experience!!!

I just hiked up and down Pikes Peak via the Barr Trail with Will Yermal as my guide. We started at 12:30 am and got down by about 3:30 pm. Will was an excellent guide who continued to make sure I was doing well throughout the hike. He kept us at the pace I wanted to go, and he made sure we took the needed breaks along the way. He and the others I worked with at the company were professional, accommodating, and encouraging. This was a Mt Whitney training hike for me, and Will’s efforts and guidance helped give me the confidence I needed to tackle Mt Whitney soon!

My national team attended a team building weekend in Boulder. We spent a lovely morning with Colorado Wilderness Guides. I often expect some rah-rah we love each other togetherness when it comes to team building. These guides were raw, energetic and brought the love. We laughed, we cried (yes, actually cried) and came together as a team. Would highly highly highly recommend!!

Gave them a call when my wife and I expressed some interest in heading up the Cables Route on Longs Peak. We worked with Gabby at the office and then had Will as our guide. The experience was fantastic. We are experienced hikers but are new to rock climbing. The Cables Route was just the challenge we were looking for and Will made us feel safe and comfortable during the whole technical part of the day. Super knowledgeable and professional. Would totally recommend this experience to our friends. Will…you were great bud, thank you so much.

Gabe and Will guided our large group. They simplified all the logistics, avoid us getting caught out in storms, cooked great meals for the group, and shared knowledge on the landscape, flora, and fauna. Super fun and professional. Thanks again guys!

We hired Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides for a private tour of Rocky Mountain National Park. Will was an absolutely amazing guide. He helped us find the best sites, tailored a route that best suited our groups abilities, and was really great with our kids. On top of all that the lunch was great. Highly recommend this group and Will in particular!

We did two 1/2 day excursions with Will and had a fantastic time! Hiked Royal Arch first - fresh off the plane and into altitude, then tried mountain biking for the first time the following day. Will was an excellent guide on both, and in particular it was clear he designed the bike route just for us - perfect mix of challenging without being overwhelming. He gave great mountain biking instruction, and was a really nice person to spend time with. We have pretty high standards and Will and CWRAG exceeded in all categories.
