This is a must do adventure to see all of Boulder and its Natural Beauty. The ride was all fun and no work. Joel and his assistant are excellent tour guides knowledgeable and helpful…..worth every penny and some…

Highly recommend! We did the Boulder 360 ride on a Sunday, we happened to be the only people so we got a private ride with JD. I asked for views, and he delivered! The rad power ebikes are real nice and comfortable. We went all over the place, covering lots of distance with little effort due to the electric assist. I loved how JD knew all the little connector trails, pocket parks, and quiet streets to bike through, taking us on a very quiet, safe, high comfort route through Boulder in many beautiful places, including lots off the beaten path and secret spots with views. As someone who usually does long rides myself that I have to plan out, it was nice to just relax and follow JD. He was really easy to ride with and talk to, calm presence, he always checked to make sure we were feeling good. JD is also a great guy and an actual, REAL Boulder progressive! Conveniently located downtown, short walk from where we were staying during our car-free getaway. You want a ride with a longtime local who knows every part of Boulder and will show you all the hidden beautiful spots, this is it!

Arrived in Boulder Sunday night, reviewed bike rentals and found JD’s joyrides, reviews were great and sounded like fun. Called JD’s as soon as they opened and on short notice, Joel was able to accommodate 3 e bikes for a few hours. We (mom, Dad, and 16 yr old son) had a great time touring Boulder (with some help/guidance from Joel), we rode the Boulder Canyon trail, cruised downtown, and added a quick tour of CU. Great service, awesome bikes!

Awesome way to see another side of Boulder! Finding hidden street mural art gems throughout the city was like going on a treasure hunt. Joel, our host and guide, gave us just enough background on each piece to make it memorable. You won’t believe what artists can do with spray paint!

We had a great time exploring Boulder. Great bikes and host! We decided to explore on our own so Joel pointed out sites we might enjoy. Coolest guy… so next time, we will pick the guided tour. Thank you for a great trip.

My wife and I had a fantastic time on Joel’s murals and Boulder neighborhood tour. We are in town for two days and thought a bike mural tour would be fun. It actually exceeded our expectations. We had an awesome 2-hour e-bike tour! Joel’s detailed explanation of each mural really added dimension to our experience! We also enjoyed a great ride along the creek and canyon. Perfect weather was a plus. Highly recommend JD Joyrides - a unique perspective and way to appreciate Boulder.

We absolutely loved this tour!! Joel was a great tour guide! We did the Boulder 360 tour and biked over 20 miles without breaking a sweat! E-bikes are the best!!!!! We loved seeing all the amazing scenery and different bike paths in Boulder. What a great city! Our group of 6 all agreed that this tour was the best part of our trip to Colorado!!!! Highly recommend!!!

So much fun. Our first time in Boulder and riding e-bikes. Joel was awesome. We covered all of the best of Boulder and Joel recommended some awesome breweries and eating places to visit after our ride. My daughter and I had an amazing time on our e-bike tour with Joel and JDs Joyrides! It was our first time in Boulder and first time on an e-bike and it was so much fun. Joel taught us how to use the bikes, was very accommodating on our route and kept us safe while showing us all around Boulder. We went all over the city and saw everything we hoped to see and more. We would highly recommend and definitely would do again!!

Highly recommend! We rented ebikes for the day and had a great time! We biked up the bike path at Boulder canyon, across Chapman Drive to Realization Point area, and down Flagstaff Drive. We also went up to Wonderland Lake. The bikes performed well all day and did a great job on hills and trails. Joel provided great recommendations during the ride and for post-ride drinks. Reservations were very easy. I plan to rent here again!

We rented e-bikes for a half day and had the best time. We spent the morning on Boulder Canyon trail and riding through campus, and I’m not sure I ever want to go back to riding a bike that makes me do all the work. The reservation and check-in/check-out process was super simple and the bikes were ready to go when we got there. I would 10/10 do it again!

Joel was an awesome guide! He was very knowledgeable about the area and was super patient with a couple of first time EBike riders. He was a great teacher and I felt comfortable zooming the streets after just a few minutes of him showing us how to use the bikes. I appreciated Joel’s in depth knowledge of the murals and the Street Wise program. It was clear that he had a lot of heart for the art and the city of Boulder. He helped us experience the city in a way we would not have otherwise been able to. He helped us make some really special memories of our trip here in Colorado. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boulder!
