Pros
are
that
the
new
store
location
is
bigger,
cleaner,
more
organized,
and
staff
has
always
been
pleasant
and
nice.
However
the
MAJOR
con
is
that
prices
at
the
Boulder
Goodwill
in
particular
are
still
INSANE
and
have
been
for
a
while.
For
USED
inventory
they
are
given
for
FREE!
Most
recent
example:
Usually
Free
People
is
not
a
prohibitively
expensive
“designer”
brand.
I
have
found
fairly
priced
FP
knit
dresses,
cute
little
tops,
etc
at
the
Goodwills
in
Westminster,
Louisville,
Castle
Rock,
Highlands
Ranch,
and
bougie
parts
of
Denver
ranging
from
$8.99
to
$12.99
(even
post-covid,
with
current
inflation,
as
recent
as
last
week,
so
those
factors
are
not
an
excuse).
In
the
Boulder
store
today
I
found
one
embroidered
Free
People
tank
top
for
$8.99.
Seems
fair
for
a
brand
name
used
tank
with
some
cute
detail,
and
with
some
life
left
in
it.
Found
another
tank
top,
SAME
BRAND,
on
the
same
rack…priced
at
$24.99!
For
a
used
tank
top???
If
I
wanted
to
pay
that
much
I’d
buy
something
brand
new
from
Target
or
even
the
Marshall’s
in
the
same
shopping
center.
I
showed
the
cashier
the
difference
and
asked
if
they
could
at
least
match
the
price
and
they
gave
an
excuse
and
refused.
Management
needs
to
pay
attention
to
the
NUMEROUS
reviews
stating
that
prices
at
the
Boulder
store
are
giving
“greedy”
rather
than
“goodwill.”
Train
staff
to
make
sure
that
the
pricing
is
CONSISTENT
and
actually
REASONABLE
for
used
items!
