Exactly location. Beautiful location and scenery. Dogs are welcome to swim in the lake. Extra parking across the street

Neat little lake with pretty sunset views. Great to walk your dog or take swimming. Also saw people fishing. There are only a handful of parking spots right in front but luckily there's a park with a large parking lot across the street.

An absolute beautiful lake and a great place for an easy walk. 1.3 miles around the lake with a few beaches to stop for a rest. There is no elevation change making this a perfect place to go when a walk is on the agenda but not a hike. The trail is well maintained with an absolute minimum of tripping hazards, appropriate for strollers or wheelchairs.

There needs to be a policy for people with dogs. They let them run rampant, knocking over small children, jumping on people who would like to be left alone and have no respect for the anglers by letting the dogs jump in the water and swim right in area of the angler. Regulations are needed. Disrespectful to everyone else who like to enjoy the outdoors as well.

Went at sunset. Very nice views. One walking bridge is due for repairs.

The fact that people don’t watch their dogs or assume everyone likes dogs running up behind them is mind boggling, great fishing but again the dogs are running around loose and not every owner can control their dogs off a leash . Sorry not sorry πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

super sunny in the daytime, and the sand gets everywhere (so beware of rain) but dogs have such a nice time swimming :)

Beautiful night for a walk around the lake and it was an easy walk too. Not a lot of parking spots but there's a park near by that you can park at and a short walk to get to the lake.

This is a fantastic spot for a stroll with stunning views. The walk takes only 25-30 minutes and you can enjoy the sound of birds singing. On our visit, we were lucky enough to witness a double rainbow. If the parking lot near the lake is full, there is parking across the street where you can safely park your vehicle.

Great spot for a walk. Or some ice fishing. Or some pretty views. There's overflow parking across the street.

Always looking for nice places to take dogs off-leash and this is one awesome spot. Short walk, maybe 25 min, around a lake. Dogs can swim in parts, and most is cordoned off for the rest of nature. Stunning views of the mountains and "the rez" (the reservoir).

Beautiful lake in the evening, and in the fall. Super reflective water, great for photos. There is only enough parking for a couple cars, and there aren't many benches around.

I take my dogs here often. They are v&s tagged. Other dogs that come are not and its obvious. One of my dogs has been attacked twice here and never a ranger in site to ticket them. I decided to finally bring my 6m old puppy here on leash with my two off leash dogs. I let her off leash for 5 seconds to take a swim and what do you know. I get harassed by a ranger. 20 minute's before he showed up to harass me and my dogs, he failed to pay attention to a dog that had bit my dog in the face. As well as a small off leash ankle biter that went after all 3 of my dogs.I'm never coming back to coot lake and I won't be recommending it to anyone either.

Went to look for the American Bittern. But owners were letting dogs run around unleashed. Quite a few runners here too.
