I’ve done pick up here for the past year and it’s gotten worse and worse. I have to write that I don’t want moldy fruit or that the 4lbs of chicken shouldn't expire tomorrow when I pick it up. That’s ridiculous. They waive the service service, but I’d rather pay the $5 (or more) to not get expired/inedible food each time I order. At least one thing on my order has a problem every time and then I have to go into the store to get it which defeats the entire purpose of pick up. I don’t need immaculate food, but I need it to be edible. They don’t care about their customers at all if they can’t teach their order pickers the basics. Today is the end of August and I got chicken expiring in May?! So gross.

On hold for FIVE MINUTES after making a simple inquiry about the availability of a certain hydration beverage known as Prime. Was then TRANSFERRED to grocery and had to speak to an entirely new associate. I am very socially awkward, so adding another unnecessary interaction was detrimental to my mental health. After all of that, I was told that they did NOT have Prime Hydration in stock, contrary to the information on their website! I was thoroughly disappointed, and my evening was ruined.

I shop here all the time. Mostly curbside pickup these days but still inside sometimes. Great people, great food, and all the rest. No reason to ever go to Walmart.

Christopher cashier or manager (who said he was the manager) was so rude and lied to me as a customer, and I caught him in a lie and went to another Smiths store who told me the policy! If you have to deal with a cashier Christopher is not an honest person! I resolved my issue at another location. I am so thankful to another store, a bountiful site, smiths marketplace near old corner baker cafe; beware of this guy who is not professional and kind to customers!

Please for the love of god fire the head manager, for allowing rude employees being hired at this place. This has been the 6th time I asked for some help and they acted like I was a ghost! Whether it was day time or night time, I have felt disrespected here. Stop supporting this store and whoever is above corporate, should fire the head manager for running this store.

Based on my experience on 02/22/23 with Brian the store manager I will be calling the corporate office. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect, I was discriminated on because I’m am darker skinned. Approached and surrounded by three other employees and was met with harsh and hurtful language. I am a Smiths shopper, my family has been for years and I have many family members that work for the company. Brian allows his associates to not only treat his customers like trash but also speak to them like they are nothing as well. Brian is very unapproachable, this man is supposed to be a leader setting an example for not only the people that work under him but he is responsible for the company image as well. Brian racially profiled me, made discriminating comments, and met me with hostility and combativeness. Brian inflicted trauma by pushing harmful stigmas against those with disabilities and who come from diverse back grounds. Because I am not a white female Brian deemed it necessary to remove my service animal and myself from the store. After an associates had made false claims without consulting the customer first. Brian asked me multiple times to provide documentation of my disability. He also asked rapidly “was my dog a certified service animal?” This is against FDA regulations and does not comply with ADA regulations as well. Brian asked for me to leave the store due to an issue with my service dog and advised that I could take my unpaid products with me out of the store. I have family members who are store directors, I was advised by multiple people that Brian’s conduct was against store policy and violated my rights as a human being. I was also told by another store manager that the situation would have never been handled like that while dealing with another store. I love the Bountiful Smiths, but Brian is out of control. I don’t care what my skin color is or if I have a disability I should have never been treated the way I was by a STORE MANAGER and his three associates (Mac, Christdyan, and a female employee working in the deli.)

Rude cashier - Margo - and front end “manager” - Natalie - experience today. Customer in front of me had some coupon Margo couldn’t figure out and Natalie, who was standing in the empty checkout with other employees next to us couldn’t be bothered to come help until I asked. Margo then proceeds to tell me that if I don’t like the wait I could go to self checkout. Right… with all my stuff on the checkout belt and people behind me. Left because they told “it was a personal choice!” My choice is not to give them any more business! WOW

Not the best practice to belittle staff, especially in front of customers. Then creating these gossip circles, while lines form, enough for the customer to notice there is a group of employees not working that’s why we are all standing in line. Hope the management can make some improvements.

The large Smith's in bountiful is my favorite!! It has a lot of small discount for expiration date sections that I frequently use. Friendly staff. Great setup, most of the things I need. Good pricing. Willing meat department employees. Great place to take a walk in winter!! Lots of friends shop there!!

📅 Date of Visit: 11/28/2020 💬 OVERVIEW - 5.0 I remember coming to this Smiths all the way back in the day when it used to be a Fred Myers. 🗺️ LOCATION - 5 I actually kind of like how this Smiths feels like it is hidden and how it has its own special road to get to the business. 💲 PRICE - 5 Smiths in general is reasonably priced, and constantly has great specials. 🥩 PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 Smiths primarily focuses on consumable goods which are constantly fresh from produce to prepackaged, they have it all. 💲 POINTERS/PERKS - N/A They have a membership club that you can sign up for. If you don't want to sign up you can always use Jenny's number 867-5309, with an Utah area code. 👨‍🍳 EMPLOYEES - 5 The employees have been friendly over the years, I don't think I have ever had a negative experience.

I was in last night to return one small thing, but the customer service area looked like it was closed down for the day. I was totally fine coming back another day, but Colton insisted he could help me and he was so nice about it and told me it wasn’t a big deal and he could return it! Colton seemed very happy, he is great with his job and with customer service and should be rewarded!

They’ve got incredible Poke bowls, as well as wonderful raw chicken and Bacon. I drive past my local Walmart and target to get ingredients from Smiths because they just seem to be higher quality.

Just checked out in the clothes section at this smiths I come here all the time patti was the cashier she needs a attitude change. She was extremely rude to me. Didn’t seem like she wanted to check me out which was fine, I could have went to self checkout. She proceeded to be very rude and yell about a simple question I asked her about a price. VERY RUDE AND UNPLEASANT.

They have a good selection of items however their registers have gone down both times I have been there. Delayed checkout due to this. The staff were super friendly and explained the issue.

Brian, the head manager doesn’t know what his doing. He has the worst management skills. I came one day to ask about the case lot and he was so rude about it. The isles always look terrible like a bomb went off and seems like they are running out of everything! He has teenage workers running around making fun of people. And my daughter worked here a long time ago. And she hated working the grocery store isles, because there is lots of work hostility and the head manager has no idea about it and could care less. I see him laughing all the time more then he actually works. Smiths, you need to get rid of people like Brian the head manager and look into the managers he hires.

My sister and I went this morning to this Smith's Marketplace and we were not disappointed! We have been searching for a couch for some time, and finally came across one here and Bountiful was the only one store to have both pieces. We had rented a U-Haul for a specific amount of time, and asked Beverly the furniture rep, to help us get out of here ASAP! Beverly and Ann, did just that! We were in and out in 30min! These two women left us in shock with their efficiency. The task required getting the ottoman out of a container and that was no problem for them. I cannot thank them enough. Beverly and Ann deserve a raise and recognition! Thank you ladies!

This place is busy. If not due to the everyday grocery shoppers, the staff always seems to be busy about the store, decorating, taking down and setting up great displays, stocking & stacking. Whoever is managing this particular location is doing one helluva job! Good work!

They don't want your money. First they blocked visa debit cards (and had to change their minds because they lost so much business so fast), these days they've blocked any form of tap to pay, and they removed the bank inside of the store. Half the time they don't even want cash because the change is too much hassle. You pretty much have to have a credit card. Kroger is a pain and I'm over it.

Bought some precut apple slices that were discounted since they would expire in 3-5 days from when I bought them. Got home and went to eat one and saw each slice was gooey orange in color and several slices had mold. The second container looked the same but without the mold. Someone else in my household went to return them with the receipt but since they didn't have the original payment card with them, smiths would only refund to a gift card. I'm happy to have gotten a refund but I have to hang onto a gift card with $3 and some change. Shouldn't be hard to refund to a credit card without the card being present. This is my first bad experience so I'll likely shop here again but I won't be buying precut produce from here ever again.

My standard grocery store for all of my everyday needs both groceries and small household items, toiletries and etc. You will not find many specialty items here, but you can find all of your basics in one place. The layout is fairly easy to follow, unlike many grocery stores that include a department store I merely have two suggestions for improving the location and those would be to increase the staffing at the deli as it is often backed up throughout the day being that it is a very popular service and one that takes a fair amount of time to complete properly. Even though the people working there are exceptionally good at their job, the other would be to include more small sized carts as I can rarely find one when I go shopping and almost never need the larger sized carts and I would like to give extra thanks to the cleanliness of the store and it's parking lot

Best customer service ever. My venerable father walked from his retirement home in the cold, shopped for 30 min past close, and the staff were patient, kind, and gentle with him. This kind of service is rare in the world anymore and my family will be shopping Smith a lot more because I know where to find it now! Kudos to Samantha and her entire team for everything!

Always seems to be very crowded and not enough check out lanes open. Order pick up service is super slow and a total waste. Just go shop yourself. I've only done pick up twice here due to an injury, and have waited over an hour both times. Me and my broken arm could have gotten everything myself in that time I wasted.

Been doing pickup for about 2 years and it’s literally useless and I have no idea why my wife keeps us going back. I’ve never once received an order that was actually correct. This last time they just gave me a rotten onion. No idea who’s idea it was to give that to a customer but I got 1 onion and the one they gave me was literally just had a gigantic black spot going all the way to the middle. Jan 16, 2023 Just placed another order. Did they get it right? Nope. They checked out, charged me, then canceled it. So I guess someone get free groceries on me. Maybe I’ll just come back here and update my review every time. No one’s gonna do anything cause they don’t care but maybe it’ll be cathartic. No one told me it was canceled. In fact, it completely disappeared from the app as if it never happened. So here I am wondering where the groceries are and they canceled it an hour ago and don’t care enough to tell anyone. Then on the chat the guy says “looks like it was canceled bc it wasn’t fulfilled.” I’d for sure say it wasn’t due to the fact that money is not in my bank account and I have no groceries. We’ll see next time

I literally only shop at this location because of the amazing customer service provided by Colton Stephen's. I was having trouble one day while shopping and this gentleman went over the top to help me and was extremely friendly the entire time. Kudos to you Colton for truly caring about your customers and community!

A lady tried helping me and apparently charged me for 10 Things I already paid for. I was wondering why it was so expensive not to mention things I bought on sale for $1.50 I was charged 249. But I don't like being charged double of what I already paid.. I wish you guys would answer your phone I tried calling you several times. Hopefully you will see my review and contact me. Very aggravated customer.

They have good stuff and the store is set up well but the staff is often not very helpful. I've had many issues with the food pickup. They even mistakenly gave my pickup order to someone else.

Kind employees, and the best bakery in bountiful! I hate storemade brownies, but i decided to take a chance. These are damn near the best brownies I've ever had! Take the chance on these guys, you won't regret it :)

I shopped at this store midday on a Saturday, and it was the cleanest, and best organized store I've been to in a long while. Every department was spotless! The employees were professional and helpful as well.

I love smith's, but this particular location has lines down the aisles. The employees you'd think would jump on a register to help actually just stare (it seems like) in awe that the lines are so long. They do have a huge selection though & are always stocked.
