Beautiful place for a walk. Gravel paths all along the river from Kinson to Holdenhurst and beyond. Always busy with dog walkers and there's easy access to the river for a paddle. There is a small car park too and road parking if it's full. The nearby barn has a small cafe and runs activities for kids to explore nature. We've seen otters in the river and herons as well. Just beware the path gets very muddy when it rains.

Visited on a February Monday morning. Arrived early and walked the entire length of the river frontage. Lots of wildlife and some lovely views and pleased to note the local dog walkers actually pick up! Well done. Had some great sightings of so many special Birds including Cettis Warbler, Kingfisher, Goosander and Bullfinch to name just a few. Overall a lovely hidden gem and a relaxing place to walk.

A lovely place to visit once we found it for some reason Google maps took us to the first turning after the traffic lights when it should have been the one further down the road, anyway once there fantastic walks and lots of wildlife to see, a small shop and refreshments are near the entrance with places to sit outside, ample free parking which is a bonus, a well maintained area easy access and the walks are great.

It was very good but would the money have been better spent on the homeless and vulnerable not on dog walkers. .

A hidden gem... Beautiful walking trails and spot to take a dip in the river if you love water. Very unfortunate that most that come here just let the dogs in and they stay out..for a minute I thought it's a dog's swimming area...

Lovely walk along the Stour.Parked in the carpark near the garden centre, and was soon along the river. Good for dog walkers&kiddies as there's quite a few areas to paddle. There's also the Kingfisher centre along the way for refreshments

Great parking, the Cafe drinks ain't great for the price, better service and taste for similar money from coffee number 1 or Costa. It's a great long work and great for dogs, the issue I have is the river belongs to the swans and they can be aggressive to dogs, and people especially during nesting times, not much you can do other than make sure your dog keeps a way from them and out of the water if they are nearby as they will attack.

A lovely walk and visitor centre too. You can walk for miles and is popular with dog walkers in particular
