We have lived here for nearly a year now and didn't realise that was on our doorstep what a beautiful and peaceful walk. We didn't even get time today to do the walk all the way to Coy pond but definitely will be back tomorrow.

Underneath the underpass are very cool graffiti Muriel’s. Loved them! Such a genius way of creating art out of block concrete. Wish I had photos…sadly I don’t! 🙈

Nice walk to / from Coy Pond: 2.1 miles to / from town centre. Paved, so buggys and bikes can make it. Reasonably maintained gardens and lovely variety of plants and wildlife

A beautiful space in the midst of the town. We ambled through the Gardens in the dappled sunshine and were amazed at the variety of trees and plants. We loved the water features and saw not one scrap of litter. Great for a peaceful wander at any time of the day.

Stunning, heavenly beauty; change of colour during the seasons of course; magical gardeners exist without being seen, or chopping anything. BEST PLACE IN Bournemouth. Separate cycle lane and pedestrian footpath

As a local it's my preferred cycle lane to Bournemouth from Branksome. On a summer sunny morning it does get a bit humid and the air is a bit heavy with the scents of the greenery. Opposite the council offices is a good place for family picnics on the wide flat grassy area. The only thing that lets it down is the high parking charges.

The whole of Bournemouth Gardens is well maintained, varied, colourful and peaceful. Such a delight to walk or jog through. Never busy, always places to sit and take in the silence, admire the flora, or read a book in sunshine. As I write this its autumn so the leaf colours are magnificent. Well worth a stroll from end to end.

Nice bit of green space in the middle of the town/city. I wish more places had parks like this.

Very need and tidy, well looked after all those years because of the size of the plant. Very peaceful. Sadly on the walk way and the bicyle path some painting on the wall and the fence makes it untidy, it does not make u feel u were really in the wild.

Bournemouth isn't just about beautiful beach. Upper Garden is one of beautiful gardens in Town. Good for relaxing walk and jogging or family picnic.

Beautiful hidden gem through Bournemouth, leading down to the beach. Very peaceful and a lovely walk through the gardens, following the small Bourne River

Barry and safe to go at night-time people being attacked I don't think the council cares too much about people safety lived in Bournemouth for a very long time I have read on the internet but there is much danger in this area at night

Really lovely peaceful place. A nice assortment of trees and shrubs and a stream running through it. Also a bat place built like a folly shaped like a folly. Can't believe it's not far from the main thoroughfare

This is the third of a series of gardens leading along the Bourne from the sea front. This is the least formal of the gardens and a haven of peace and tranquility. As the Bourne isn't a large river, more a wide brook or steam, it meanders and the way that the bushes and trees areplanned makes a walk through the gardens rather magical, especially with the biotic looking tower suddenly appearing round the corner in the trees. A lovely and romantic place for a walk!

Beautiful part of Bournemouth Gardens, more wild than Pleasure Gardens. Lovely stream. Great for dogs to run off lead. Lots of shady trees.
