A beautiful cliff top suntrap, often out of the wind, offering spectacular views over Bournemouth beach. Winding paths take you through a plethora of tropical plants, nestled into the chine hillside. Paths with various inclines take you from the clifftop down to the beach, where the trees are alive with the local squirrel population. Be sure to take some monkey nuts, they love em. The mid-level plateaux has a number of benches, ideal for a lunch stop with a view. Toilets on hand down in Alum chine, next to the well stablished play ground.

A beautiful place, we stumbled upon it by accident. Every time you turn a corner there's something else to look at. Exquisite

Great walk near Alum Chine. Tropical plants and flowers and some exotic nature's like lizards if you can spot them. Great view of the beach also

Amazing. Botanic garden with subtropic trees and flowers. And the most beautiful view ever on the sea. Marveleous. Love it.

Lovely part along the coast, the tropical gardens will look better in the summer, but a few flowers are starting to appear now, sunny spot, been their many times

The people who care for these Gardens are volunteers and they're wonderful

We only walked through the gardens on our way to the beach, but it was a lovely little addition to the day.

Hard to believe these plants have been able to grow in our climate and survive the winter, some exotic planting and it's just a short stroll from the beach.

It's a nice place, because I think the idea to put a tropical garden close to the beach and the other pine trees it's cool but unfortunately at the moment it doesn't look very well and it seems a bit abandoned. It would get 5 stars if someone could look after it more.

Charming glade ☺️ with nice glimpses of the sea running down to a cafe and the beach

Nice to have a stroll around the mostly exotic plants, little bit unkept but it doesn't hurt the aesthetic

With a little TLC the gardens could be so much better, but shows how those original holidaymakers must have come to Bournemouth for a complete change of scenery. Great viewpoint for the beach and all the way to Sandbanks.

A lovely walk through the garden that opens up to Bournemouth beach. The garden is covered with flowers and benches to sit and watch the ocean from.
