Used to be a great family venue, but has been in decline for over 20 years. Handful of good eateries (at time of review) and a shocker or two... Prime units closed and abandoned for several years at a time. Cinema, Splashdown and bowling alley are the only real attractions other than competitive fuel prices at Tesco filling station.

I travelled down from the North East to see family and took my two youngest children9&13) both with autism and learning difficulties and granddaughter( 1st birthday), its a great place for kids to run wild and free, and plenty of space for the adults to relax while the kids go crazy, staff really friendly and helpful, will definitely go again when I'm in the area,

Used to be a great place to go with activities and an atmosphere. I'm going back to when it had an ice rink amongst other attractions. Now it's dirty and scruffy. I prefer other places to go to watch a film. Also, parking is an issue here. The spaces are two small for modern cars and you run the risk of having some chav open their door on you when you park there. Be warned.

Not being a regular Cinema goer it was a pleasant surprise when visiting Tower Park Cinema with two of my Great Grandsons over the Easter half term. The staff were most helpful however, booking online became a challenge therefore I drove to the cinema the day before. Really enjoyed Mario the Movie.

Great for ages 8+ if you want to be able to do all the slides. We booked a three hour session but we were knackered after 1.5hrs 😂. Will only book a 2hr session next time. Bring two pounds for lockers as they are slim if you have multiple children. Wear sandles/flip flops in changing area.

Leisure park with water park, cinema, bowling, amusement arcade, gym and bingo as well as various places to eat. Free parking makes this much better than other places but it gets full at peak times. Centre has seen better days and could do with a revamp.

Great place for a day out. Splashdown is amazing with many watersides to choose from. Days buffet great place to eat and even a huge cinema! Would recommend you come and visit.

Went to splash down with my son and 7 of his mates, first time for me and it was brilliant fun.... 3hr session about £20 each and definitely worth it, had to clue for all the slides some were 5 min wait others were 30 plus but all nice a clean.... Maccys across the road for foid afterwards, 8 happy 14-16 year olds 🙂

Had a great time here today with my 7 year old granddaughter. Came to the afternoon session. We didn't have to queue much, considering it was half term. Would 100% recommend.

Great choice of places to eat with some entertainment for everyone. Bowling, pool, water park, cinema, arcades, softplay, rock climbing and more. Also a wonderful sweet shop with an awesome selection of American goodies!!

It is an area of industrial work warehouses, there is normally a lot of job offer for people who, above all, do not speak the language when they arrive in England. It is a good place to start your life in England due to the proximity to factories... Once you learn the language, you can always try to approach other places in search of more work. On the other hand, it is a quiet area with low rents.

Everyone had fun bowling. There is plenty to do on a cold winter afternoon.

Great fun for all the family and even had the VIP area for bowling 🎳

There's plenty of choice here, but the signage isn't the best. To begin with it looks like a car retail park. Once you enter the leisure and retail park you'll see the signs. Drive through B&M car parking to get to Maccies.

Nice place. You feel safe and can enjoy a quiet night out with younger kids going to the bowling alley or cinema or Pizza Hut. For adults there’s Pizza Express, Nando’s and KFC as TGI Fridays and Chiquitos both closed their doors sadly. Sadly it’s the only local cinema for us and they desperately need renovation doing. Most of the seats are broken in most of the screens. But they do have good and the latest movies showing with good picture and sound quality. Also it’s not freezing or boiling hot inside their theatres which makes a nice change. I definitely recommend a visit.

Mainly go for the cinema, went to see Barbie movie, great atmosphere and film. Seats were awful, think they were broken as a few other people in the same screen as us said the same.Only brought a drink from kiosk there, but they have the usual cinema snacks on offer.

This place pretty much has it all. Cinema, bowling ally, restaurants, plenty of free parking and a giant grocery store on the other side.

First visit to the area. Really impressed. So many leisure facilities in 1 huge complex. We actually went to Days Restaurant which was very good. The whole area was incredibly clean and tidy even the carpark was very well kept. Well worth a visit.

Great place for kids. Careful of height restrictions. I took 3 12yo boys. They had brilliant time. Slides were limited to inside ones during winter. I watched from spectator area which was bit cramped. Take your own food & drink. Staff helpful & friendly. Make their life easy by printing your tickets or at least having decent screen shot of details. Wasn't too busy in February half term.

Came here to see the new Top Gun film. Easy parking. Clean and tidy. Cinema was good. Friendly staff and prices are what you would expect. Can't complain as was a pleasant experience.

Family orientated pleasure park, with cinema, bowling, water slide park, bingo and plenty of places to eat. There is plenty of free parking, but even so it can be difficult to find a space at peak periods. With a couple of restaurants now closed, the Amazon pick up point not working, and some areas needing tidying, it’s looking a Little tired and could do with some TLC, to bring it back to what it once was. There was no visible security or policing, which might have controlled some of the groups of kids misbehaving. But not malicious or anything we haven’t all done growing up.

I ONLY WENT TO SPLASHDOWN. It is a brilliant place for families and teenagers. Very slick booking in, loads of staff on-hand. Slides were busy, but this did not detract from the experience at all. Rides are easy, medium and severe. The severe ones are very fast and very steep. My son (10) enjoyed the tyre rides the most, but all of them are fun.

It is what it is. The place has improved over the last 5/6 years but realistically it is a fast food joint rat race. Splashdown is the biggest attraction which is fast frantic fun and the bowling alley is in good shape too. Generally parking is always easy if you either go to the tesco car park or drive through to the back of the cinema.

It is a retail park that contains lots of retail and leisure outlets. The parking bays are tight and some people park where makes things difficult. Also watch out for delivery scooter riders that happily drive into the pedestrian areas. The retail park it self is fine and works well housing the different outlets in one area.

its great! the average local will tell you that overall there's a variety of things to do, food to eat and generally fun to have. especially great for parents who want to get the kids out of the way for a while. are there better places? of course! but theyre often further away. my only issue and biggest warning is parking may be a struggle a bit iffy one might say, make sure youre comfortable with tight parking.

It was pretty relaxed with the family but tbh I think it's a bit too mixed between adults having a good drink which can lead to a bit of rowdiness and family's bringing their kids out for some quiet fun, especially after 8 at night. No big problems or anything but the potential for problems is definitely there.

Not bad, a lot more to do now compared to when I used to go every week (nearly 30 years ago!!! 😬). The car park is also still just as busy as it always was, so be prepared to go space hunting. Some areas need a bit of TLC, but generally a good place to take the kids for some fun.

Take Grandchildren did table service place very busy but had meal with in 20min didnt think that was to bad. Got parked ok but it was after lunchtime rush. Food hot and cooked well , only fault was drink was missing but no one bothered to tell us that they had ran out of the drink my grandson wanted. So had to chase the drink , but staff quickly sorted problem. But it would of been better if was told about missing drink when food was delivered to table. Me having to go and fined out missing drink ment that I had a warm meal. Food well priced .

Had so much fun here today in Splash Park. Hasn't changed in the 15 years I've been coming here but I love it. Plenty of parking. Some places looked a little run down.

Nice place with kids and adults for water activities. Pool under 7 is good place. Couple of nice slides. Well maintained.

  • 4/5 Sarah M. 1 year ago on Google
Went to this indoor water park on the way back from camping. I think the kids loved the slides, but due to the time of year, they're all very dark slides. It's very damp (water park) and could have used with a squeegee person in both the slide areas and the waiting room. Bathrooms / changing rooms not the cleanest. Still, kids loved it, so fab.

Has been several years since I last went bowling how things have changed down there. Some improvements are great but having pins on string Nah but didn't distract from a good day out with the little one's first big bowling experience. He loved it aswell as pool and the arcade. Will go again.

Had a fun day out at the cinema Cineworld. Walk around B&M & Home Bargains. Good place to grab a bite to eat. Five Guys for one person, Taco Bell for another. Had a little go in The Amusements. Parking good, free but can get busy.

It's a great place especially for the kids we went bowling today an it was brilliant, the bowling alley is large they have an American theme Diner.a great bar and lots of amusements. The place clean and well managed. I must say it's a bit pricey, three of us playing three games cost £70. Maybe the reason it wasn't that busy. But had a good time anyway.
