Firstly I have to be honest I was disappointed with the cocktails no where near as good as TGI’s however the food definitely made up for it! The curry goat was amazing, spicy soft and great taste loved it! Tried a little of the baby BBQ ribs which were good also. Would definitely recommend.

Proper nice place, food was perfect! For someone who doesn’t go for spicy food this was lovely! The quality was unreal and prices are really decent. Staff were really friendly and really polite. Will definitely come back! The drinks selection is quality as well! If you’re a Rum drinker you’ll love it!

Very fast service, great cocktails, goat dish was fantastic. We sent back chicken breast dish as too dry but they changed it to something else without problems. Noisy and bust but nice atmosphere. Excellent friendly service. Second time there and would go again.

Loved this restaurant and highly recommend a visit. Although portions aren't massive, the quality and flavour mixed with the great service and atmosphere makes up for it. Even the toilets are up to the theme and very clean. Definitely would return to this venue!

I highly recommend this restaurant, as food here is definitely very tasty. Staff, including management, are helpful, caring, and friendly towards customers, the music is pleasant, and the atmosphere is calming. I was served by lovely waitress Chloe and caring mananager Dash, and both of them have been highly Customer focused and attentive. All staff and management are approachable and hard working, including bar staff, chefs, and cleaners who make the place very clean. Therefore, I would like to say a huge thank you to all. I had an amazing time and will definitely come back again.

An interesting restaurant with a colourful interior. The Caribbean themed food is unique and sweet in flavour. The cocktails are very fruity and compliment the food perfectly. Service was good and therefore a service charge is added. I will definitely be passing by again in the future.

We came in for a few cocktails. Had a lovely experience, servers were very welcoming, even though we were just stopping for a few drinks and they were relatively busy. Quick service and we did end up with a little bit of food that was lovely. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options available and even the drinks were labelled whether or not they were vegan. Very impressed and looking forward to visiting again.

We had a great evening at this restaurant. Staff were great and the cocktails outstanding. We were a group of four and all of us loved the food. The only disappointment was they had no curried goat that night.

Lovely food, good service, nice atmosphere! Friendly staff, helping you with the menu. What I dislike is the fact that it was added on the bill a 10£ service charge! OK it is for common sense to leave tip especially if you enjoyed everything, and I always do, but I strongly disagree about it being added at the bill! When asked the girl said you have to talk to the manager! So... dear manager I suggest you could promote on the Web site the fact that you're place it's on at least 10% tip and you advise the customers to do so. ( not to have it on the bill) .

Its a beautiful restaurant I enjoyed the food.It was delicious.I ordered goat curry.Rice and peas , coleslaw and plantin.Sparkling water to wash it down.When the plantin was brought to my table it looked so burnt .I told the waitress and she said I should try it and if I don't like it she will sort something for me. Looks definitely deceived me.The plantin tasted so delicious. Will definitely recommend to try the food. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Spent the weekend in Bournemouth and visited Turtle Bay twice. Our waitress was Peaches who was extremely pleasant and made our visit most enjoyable. Peaches also recommended various places for us to visit. All the staff at Turtle Bay were really friendly and welcoming.

What a way to start a few days away!! Booked Bottomless Brunch, includes unlimited cocktails, Red Stripe larger and soft drinks, and a burger or wrap. You can upgrade for a wider choice but for £30 it's more than enough. Our waitress, Peaches, was amazing. She kept the drinks flowing, chatted to us and made us feel really welcome. Gave us some places to try later on. A real credit to the place!! Anyway, back to drinks and food. Drinks certainly had a kick to them, so no holding back with the alcohol. The food was hot, tasty and served quickly. The wraps are the one to go for as they are a large serving, burger not so big. Sides are an additional cost. Massive shout out to Peaches, you made our night!! This review is for pre Christmas but for some reason not posted till now. However, having been to another turtle bay, today, Peaches has set the bar so high, none will reach it.

Love turtle bay, so many great choices for veggie and vegan, drinks are always on point, great atmosphere. Our server Kitty was really friendly and helpful. We love eating here.

Never been before, but thoroughly recommended. Happy hour cocktails until 7pm, although they were not very strong. Food and service was great. Not bad value all in.

I met my friends on Saturday evening in Turtle Bay. The food was good, the atmosphere nice, however, it was not possible to talk, we had to shout over the noise and too loud music. The price of food is affordable, 10 percent service charge added in advance.

I loved this place but what stops it from getting five stars is the following: the person who greeted us who I am assuming was a deputy Manager or Manager was confrontational and got my shackles up immediately. Apparently we dared to turn up early so were told to sit at the bar whilst she had to get our table ready. This was at 5pm - not peak time. She didn’t think that my son had a walking stick and couldn’t sit on a bar stool and being asked to stand for 15 minutes was probably going to hurt. She made no provision. She couldn’t have given a monkeys. Anyhow server was lovely. Food was amazing! Cocktails lovely. Only other negative would be the music volume. At 5pm it was so loud we couldn’t hear what each other was saying which impacted the ambience of going out for a meal. Apart from that enjoyed it. Well priced. Would go back again.

Had a lovely meal at Turtle Bay for our anniversary. It was very busy, but the lovely waiter 'Dannyboy' went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our meal and were always topped up with our drinks. Food was very reasonably priced and delicious, great portion sizes (we had to share a pudding as we were so full which never usually happens haha!) and the cocktails were amazing. We will definitely be returning! Would recommend.

Brought my partner here for a birthday brunch. Our waitress, Diandra, was wonderful, very accommodating, polite and super friendly. Kept the drinks coming for the whole 2 hours (a huge buzz) food was incredible and the drinks were perfect. If you’re looking for a bottomless brunch this is place to go and Diandra is the waitress you want. Thankyou for the best time :)

Food was very nice that I recommended them to our company dinner. Moderate flavour n healthy. Banofee cheese cake was excellent...too bad I could not bring them home. I think they do not have sufficient staff but otherwise they are friendly... especially that Lithuanian girl with German accent...sorry I didn't get your name. Nice cosy place

My parents and I visited for a bottomless brunch and we were very impressed with the food and service. Our waitress, April, was lovely, recommending drinks we might like, and letting us order a few drinks at a time as it was very busy. Overall the bottomless brunch was very nice, and we can say we got our money’s worth! 10/10. Would come back :)

Served by Kitty. Lovely, friendly helpful girl. We were all travelling home for 7 hours back to North Yorkshire (after a uni open day ). Needed to eat quick and Kitty made sure everything came to our table (even the bill) quickly so we could head off straight away. Food was amazing (bit hot for me but still tasted great). Really good atmosphere and service excellent. Definitely visit again.

Never been here before, but can for bottomless brunch. We were shown to our table by the manager she took our drinks order. She told us who our server was and she would be over soon. I noticed that our waitress went off on the phone and we waited a fair while considering it wasn't too busy. While waiting another diner was sick at the table and the staff delt with it quickly and without fuss. The drinks were all nice, alot with pineapple though, and they were strong. The only bad thing was the amount of ice and size of the straws, the ice kept getting stuck in the straw which was annoying and trying to drink from the glass was lip numbing. However after the 4th cocktail it we were passed caring.😆 The food was nice and fresh, I did feel sorry for the chef as it was getting busy and there were only two staff in the kitchen. I don't do spice, and although the chicken wrap had a kick is wasn't too hot for a wimp like me. While eating the paramedics were called for a customer who had been in the toilet unwell from drinking too much. Yet again the staff delt with it amazingly and with a smile on their face. It was a nice first time trip and I would recommend this place, especially if you like spice as there are some great dishes to choose from. But word of warning, BE CAREFUL WITH THE BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH!!! Know your limits and drink water inbetween. That way customers and staff will have a good time.

We had a great dinner here, food and cocktails are so good! You can eat curry, steaks, burgers or ribs and the chili brownie with vanilla ice cream was special! Portions are quite big, we shared two appetizers (4ppl) but still we weren't able to finish our main dish. People working here are so friendly and nice. This restaurant is often full, better to book your table in advance :)

We had an amazing time here. The vibes are 🔥🔥🔥🔥 We were in Bournemouth only two days and we visited Turtle Bay twice. Rice and beans are from heaven, jerk chicken very delicious (not hot unfortunately) and goat curry is marvelous. Plantain is must 😍 For every cocktail you'll get one free and they were also super delicious!

Tried the Trini Chicken Curry and the Brown Chicken. Great flavour, fragrance and taste! The rum and raisin pudding tastes a bit like Christmas pudding. The staff are all polite and the restaurant has an excellent vibe!

Went there for some quick lunch before a birthday party. There weren't any tables inside but we wanted to sit outside anyway as it was a lovely day. We did have to go up to order but this wasn't too much bother for us. We ordered and were worried that the food would take a while as we were on a tight schedule but it arrived no later than 10 minutes after we ordered just after our drinks came. I have very bland basic food so it was good for me and everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. We didn't have much interaction with the staff so can't really comment on service but the 2 we did encounter were friendly engaged. Overall, nice location and venue. Food was nice and came quick and the staff were kind. The only complaint I would have is that the outside area could do with some sort of sun cover on the outside tables as I forgot my sun glasses and spent most of the time there blinded. I can't give it a higher rating as we didn't really get the full experience like people inside probably got but it was generally good.

I ate for the first time at Turtle Bay on a Saturday night almost half way through December 2021, we booked a few nights prior with no trouble. It was very busy during our visit (for obvious reasons!) Despite it being very busy, we were very well looked after, seen to within minutes to order our cocktails in time for their 2 For One deal and the cocktails didnt just look amazing but they were some of the best cocktails i've had! The variation of food on the menu was excellent and i felt spoilt for choice. Food was then ordered promptly, and again, despite it being very busy, all our food arrived very quickly and the presentation of the food was as perfect as it tasted! I chose the Jerk Salmon & Rice with some sides, and it is by far the best meal i have had in a long time! I will definitely be coming back when i next visit Bournemouth, i wish i had a Turtle Bay closer to home!
