What a beautiful and great place.outdoor seating is overlooking ponds with trouts. Food is great. Especially freshly caught trouts made into delicious meals. Fun place to visit for families with children and also ideal for hiking around the nature woods.

Service was normal, nothing special. The restaurant looks nice and clean. Big teracce area is nice. My pepper rumpsteak was not worth of 28€. The sose was like water. The taste of the steak was terrible. Someone told me that this place serve only good fish and schnitzel. I hope they are right.

We just had a lunch here and it was good. Restaurant looked very nice, recently renovated, food is good, personeel is friendly.

Couldn't stay here unfortunately because of an overbooking but the owner more than made up for it by putting us up in another place in town and treating us at the restaurant, which by the way was delicious. You can eat on a beautiful terrace overlooking the stream and the food is great.

I was excited to eat here ( since it was mostly empty ) on the way back from our hike but 30 minutes later we (8 people) couldn't be seated thanks to the staff seating 3 or less people at the large tables even though small tables were open.

Excellent trout, excellent cakes, and excellent starting point for hikes around Manderscheid and the Liesertal.

Had an early dinner. Sat outside and the area was very nice with a pond. Food and the service was good.
