This is the ABSOLUTE WORST so called fake jewelry store EVER! My hubby gave me a beautiful sterling silver cuff bracelet that due to wear and tear began to have issues with the pin. He brought it to Gold USA for repair over 8 months ago and after numeous store visits and calls inquiring about the status, we were finally advised they could not appropriately resolve the issue. The "master jeweler" stated this after she claimed to have sent it to four different jewelers! Never again will I patronize this business located in the Bowie Town center.

I called business first to ask some questions because I was selling a gold ring. The store representative that answered and helped me was great. She was very patient with me answered all my questions then ended conversation by giving me better more precise directions with store landmarks to help- her directions practically got me right to the front door with minimal effort. Once in the store I noticed that it was very clean with jewelry display cases that displayed there selection of products very nicely. Sameer greeted me and asked if I was the one that called about the ring. I was impressed and it's nice to be expected somewhere. He took my ring back to Ron, the buyer expert on staff who immediately verified the weight karats, etc.. and Sameer brought it back with a very fair close to market scrap offer. Ron must have years of experience because it only took 2-3 minutes for gold verification , weight and an offer. Lastly I met Shelina. She took care of my ID verification and the required paperwork I needed sign and as quick as she was returning the signed paperwork to it's proper file,she was walking back out with my payment. Like all skilled sales associates should, Shelina offered to show me a few new items they had on display. She was right there were some beautiful pieces and now I know where to shop for Christmas for my wife and what to get her. Prices were quite impressive. You guys definately earned my business!

Bought some earrings that turned my skin black before I bought them I explained that I can’t wear fake metal. The hoops were supposed to be real white gold or silver but they were not they are fake. The hoops turned green black and gray awful experience. But to get the sale I was lied too. If the hoops were REAL SILVER THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TURNED MY SKIN BLACK! Nor would the hoops would have changed to black green gray in color!

This is the store closest to me so I'm reluctant to frequent it for Invicta watch battery replacements. But as for pricing, my wife was over charged for 2 Invicta Watches she purchased when I found them cheaper on the website. I understand they need to make a profit but some jewelry they have is too overpriced.

Very customer friendly experience. I stopped in their store this afternoon to have a link or two removed from a watch I recently purchased. The gentleman working today not only explained why removing any more links would be the wrong thing to do for comfort, but also made complimentary adjustments to fix the size of my watch bracelet. I am thoroughly satisfied with the way my watch fits and I will definitely be returning to support their business whenever I can.

They are not good with communication. Went to get something I purchased there repaired. They had it for months, and kept giving me the run around. Was suppose to ship it to me and never did. I had to call and of course the came up with another excuse.

I just needed a small repair on a long necklace which they usually don't charge me for anywhere else because I have all the pieces to it. All you have to do is put the piece together on the round little Hook and squeeze it closed. I've done it myself several times and as I say I've had it done professionally which they usually don't charge me for. I should have asked first but I didn't and I was charged $20 for 5 minutes of work why I wait for them to put the little circle back together on the chain and squeeze it. When the lady handed me back my necklace I asked her how much I owed she said $20 and I said oh my in a shocking voice. A little pricey if you ask me. I said I should have asked first, she said I did tell you it would be $20 as she walked away from me with my necklace in her hand to take it to the man who was going to fix it. Obviously I did not hear her if she said it all, oh well Live and learn. FYI yes this would be a good place to buy batteries for watches what you can do at Kmart as well. They do have a lot of watches and the jewelry is mostly sterling silver or marcasite very low grade looking jewelry. Just being honest

I had to call the police for the lady that works there safety against her son. Her son and I got into it and she had to restrain him. After he disrespected me, I called him out his name and the worker told me thats how people get killed. Once she pushed him to the back I heard them tussling. I was unsure if he was harming her or was going to break loose from her and harm me. The door was lock and I wasn't able to leave so I called the police. I am writing this review only because when the police came the worker, the aggressors mother lied about what took place. I believe the only reason the son calmed down was because he heard I was on the phone with 911. I stated to them both that the owner and the police can view the surveillance for the truth. They both laughed and said their cameras don't work. It is very irresponsible to tell a customer that a jewelry store doesn't have surveillance.
