I moved to Cumberland Trace Village Apartments in November 2021. It's a quiet community with easy access to I-65 and shopping. Tucked out of the way across I-65 a quarter mile off Scottsville Rd on Cumberland Trace RD, it's a great place to live. The office staff and maintenance are totally amazing. If you have an issue, the response is quick, and they don't stop until it's fixed. The layout of the apartments are great, granting privacy in the separated bedrooms (one on each side in the 2-bedroom). I love the open floorplan of the living area and luxury vinyl flooring. Bedrooms are carpeted with tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The large laundry room is a real bonus. I absolutely love living here!

We spent a little over a year hear. It seemed nice at first but if you have an issue the management just deflects and plays the blame game. They will blame the contractor the weather anything any everthing. Funny thing is when you speak to a contractor it is all about the apartment complex wanting to cut corners to save money. It took us over 2 months to get our dishwasher fixed after we moved in. The management in the office is horrible to say the least and are not qualified for their jobs.

Went here to get some prices on apartments. And wow talk about customer service. As soon as the ladies ( property manager and the other lady) heard me talk a different language with my mother, Their whole attitude changed and we’re extremely rude!!!! Would not live here if they gave me it for free!!!!

We recently applied to live here and were approved! We are so excited to move in come November! Regan in the office is absolutely amazing! I know we probably bugged her to death with a million questions, but she was always patient and so kind! ☺️ She helped us through the entire process! We are so so excited to join the community next month and absolutely can’t wait to make Cumberland Trace our new home! ☺️

We have been living here since 02/2022. We weren't sure if we would like it or not, as we moved from a single-family home after the Dec. 11, 2021 tornado that destroyed our home, to an apartment with 4 children, oldest 3 are 20 and teens, and youngest is a toddler, and my mother also stays with us. But, we love it! Everyone at the office, especially Jaymie, has been overly nice and helpful since the application process began. The apartments are beautiful and very easy to maintain and they keep the outside looking very nice and landscaping is superb. We love the every day trash pick-up. We have enjoyed the pool almost every weekend since it opened and I am looking forward to enjoying the fitness center as well. The only issue we have had is the neighbors above us being very loud, but once management was emailed, the issue has seemed to have gotten better. All in all, our family is very happy here. I would recommend to anyone! My cousin lives in an apartment not far from us, which she is the one that recommended us to apply after the tornado, as we weren't having luck finding anything affordable for what we needed.

We enjoy living here. Our neighbors are friendly and the noise level is pretty low, considering it is an apartment complex. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever I have had a question.

Lived here a year now just resigned my lease. Under new management. Very organized. Attends to any request immediately. Keeps us very informed. My apartment is in great condition since day one. Beautiful landscaping. Great location. I couldn't be happier.

I have been living here since last spring. The surrounding area is very quiet and I can go shopping very easily. The room I live in is clean and I like it very much, as it is completely safe to live in. It is large enough for one person and has ample storage. I️ will be living in this apartment while I work in the US! Tommy Yamamoto

We moved in here a few years ago, and it was lovely. It has gone down hill within the last 6 months. Complete disaster. Neighbors leave trash, let their kids run around unattended throwing things in the parking lot around your vehicles. Parents aren’t addressed. (Renter protection is wonderful…..) There is never parking in front of your building, when trying to contact corporate about PAYING extra on top of the high rent, you are denied and told to contact the management. Management does not have the ability to handle this. Why can we not have 1 assigned parking spot per unit? It’s insane that we have one car and have to walk from buildings over because other units have 3-4 cars and use all of the building parking…. I could start ranting about the bug situation (infesting the hallways & your porch) ( we don’t even use our porch due to this issue) they do send pest control when you request it but it goes beyond a little spraying of pesticides. There is an infestation! My air conditioner is ALWAYS an issue. Do they fix it? Yes. Should I have to call monthly? After hours? Absolutely not. Lauth needs to replace these old units. The amount of dogs that run around without a leash is insane. I had to carry my 65 pound dog multiple times because people can’t follow basic rules. The issues I am having with this complex really need to be addressed with a corporate level employee. I hope the review is enough to get THEIR attention. I will PAY for a parking spot. IF SOMEONE FROM CORP WOULD PLEASE CONTACT ME. Thank you!

I would 100% recommend living here to anyone. The high ceilings and family friendly environment sold me on living here. The bedrooms are so spacious, neighbors are quiet and friendly, and maintenance is quick and efficient with fixing issues. Best place I’ve ever lived.

I've lived here for less than a year but was here before new management took over and I can gladly say that the new management as been GREAT! Maintenance is so quick to get to any issues you have and respectful. They have had fun new games that make living here even more enjoyable like the FREE photo op, occasional food offers and the trivia. They also have a trash pickup service (not free) that's super convenient. Every time I call or stop by the office Jamie and Reagan are super nice and friendly. The apartments are nice, I live in a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, the main bedroom is big enough for a queen bed, dressers, and a work desk without feeling claustrophobic. The bathrooms are smaller than I would personally like, but has a closet for extra storage space. I hate the shape of the kitchen sink and there's not a sprayer (my personal preference) and my hot water heater is not the best; I cant take a shower if the washer or dishwasher is running and its iffy if I'll get a long hot shower or not. There are restaurants/groceries nearby so its pretty centrally located. There's never too much noise and neighbors are generally quiet and the environment feels safe. Overall, the price you pay for rent and all the great amenities this place is 5/5.
